“Totally recommended!! As a Galician, I confirm that it is a very good option to drink good beer (Estrella Galicia) accompanied by the best tapas in the city!! And in line with the rest of the comments... I very much agree with the good rating of the gin and tonics!!“
“Stopped by a few weeks after opening. The food was excellent. Me and my boys ordered a little bit of everything. Drunken noodle was great. Duck was great. Drinks were nice looking but I don't remember what I had so, I'll try it again. Wasn't super enthused on that front but definitely a fire spot to check out. Date night gem .“
“Had a fabulous meal here with friends eating in warm and attractive outside seating. The crisp roast lamb (actually lamb neck cooked like osso bucco but with Middle Eastern spices) was one of the best meat dishes I’ve eaten in years. Really, a piece of art!! Go savor some!“
“Excellent experience! Wonderful chuletón with vegetables sides and very enjoyable sangria. Fabian gave us a very warm and caring service as well as Vivian. We loved the atmosphere and the food’s quality is A+!!! We absolutely recommend the Salinas dining experience!“
“One of the most upscale vegan restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Terrific Asian foods with veggie flair, and unqiue cocktails to boot. Try the Bang Bang Broccoli and thank me later... its tempura heaven!Vegetarian options: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!Dietary restrictions: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!“
“The food at Elea is always outstanding, the service this time...not so much. AND, as the people sitting next to us were leaving, the man said "do not order the cheesecake." I didn't ask why he said that but....he clearly didn't like it. Unfortunately, our server was not the best but I guess that's to be expected on a holiday.“
“The dining experience as a whole was satisfactory; certain dishes stood out while others fell short of expectations. The entrees, particularly the fried chicken, failed to leave a lasting impression, especially when contrasted with the myriad of exceptional Korean fried chicken offerings available in NYC. The cod was one-note with an overpowering gochugang curry sauce. There were notable highlights such as the sea urchin steamed egg, the squash, and the refreshing sujeonggwa granita, though the occasional overpowering presence of cinnamon in the granita detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment. I would recommend a visit to sample select items, but skip the fried chicken and cod.“
“So happy with this restaurant! The dishes were plated in such delicate and detailed way, perfect for get you ready to get into all the flavors. The Grandma-style pizza is a must! And arrive just in time! Also it’s such a great place with an amazing staff and the perfect ambiance; the brunch bartender suggested the best cocktails keep in mind my preferences about liquor.Definetly Loring Place continue show dishes full of flavor, color and an open invitation to come back for more.“
“Korean food at it’s best.Fried rice with steak was top, endives salad with Korean pears and nuts was just amazing. The chicken wings is a must if you happen to go!!Service amazing, fast and attentive at all times.Looking forward to go back and try the famous Pork Shank!!“
“Omg Yelp revival?? Came here with a group of 5 after Spicy Moon rejected us and it was truly one of the best meals I've eaten this year in NYC :,) Service was so welcoming and the ambiance perfect as well (not too loud like the majority of other restaurants cough cough spicy moon cough cough and super pretty plates and bowls and nice jazz playing in the background) (jk we love spicy moon! they are rightfully busy) I know this review is off brand so will flesh this out with more words later ^^“
“I absolutely ADORED this place! I came here with my partner last weekend and I got the Shishito Smolder Margherita and she got the Clarified Cocktail Flight! Both were so mfing delish!!!! Such a cute atmosphere and so romantic. Not to mention the service was PHENOMENAL our server was so attentive and sweet and barely any wait at all. This is one of my new favorite bars in Manhattan and we will definitely be coming back!“
“Amazing atmosphere, creative dishes and food drinks. Especially the corn dumplings were to die for. The oxtail spring rolls are also a must have. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because we had to wait close to 30 minutes for our last dish, which was the cauliflower. They kept telling us it was “a couple of minutes away” and since we were strapped for time to reach another appointment, we asked if we could just skip that dish if it was going to take so long. The waiter didn’t seem to appreciate that, and kept reiterating that it was a few minutes away. The cauliflower was good but not worth a 30 minute wait. The staff were nice and comped us a round of sake, but it was still annoying as we were late for our next appointment.“
“This is some of the best food we've had in NY. Wonderful service and great ambiance. We got blistered shishito peppers, calamari, salmon, red shrimp, and scallops. Finished with the lava cake and the cheesecake. We didn't leave a crumb.“
“We came across Aura on a night out, and we are so happy that we decided to go in. We loved it so much, that we stayed till closing. The owner welcomed us with so much warmth, and hospitality. He was incredibly accommodating and got us seats by the beautiful, electric bar even though it was full. The bartenders were super sweet, fun, and everyone was so pleasant to be around. Overall it was a cozy, fun, charming little place.Drinks were amazing. Our friend tried the food and she loved it. We will definitely be back for more drinks, the food, and the aura ;)“
“The food here was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and the ambience was cool (including the music). I lived in Japan for a few years and really couldn't find good agedashi tofu anywhere - but the agedashi tofu here was so so good. I would go again just for the agedashi tofu. We also had the beef nabe, okonomiyaki, ddukboki, and yakisoba - all of the dishes were superb.“
“If I can give them 100 stars I would~! We had a bday celebration over the weekend and my friends and I had the most amazing time. We all said that John and the whole team went above and beyond. The atmosphere reminded me a intimate bistro in Momont in Paris. If you want to feel like you are in Paris, come and sit enjoy the vibe!“
“"Tapas-style" Korean menu in a location perfect for a pre-theatre dinner! The raw scallop, bossam, and kimchi fried rice were all super flavorful and delicious. The only complaint I had was for the cheese corn riblets - they just quartered the corn cobs for this dish so you still have to bite the corn off the cob section, instead of just cutting the kernels off into riblets like most restaurants do. Makes it messier than necessary. The $16-18 bottles of Kikusui sake on the menu are a definite plus!“
“This place is hard to find at night but it’s a hidden gem! They have a Japanese and Korean fusion menu that has fun and flavorful dishes. The creamy kimchi udon was to die for!! The sashimi don was also a knock out! Well… the pictures speak for itself. lol I definitely will be going her again. It has a nice aesthetic downstairs. The only downside of this place was that our waitress wasn’t the kindest but that did not take away from the overall dining experience and food quality. We ate DOWN!“
“I absolutely love the energy/vibe in this place! Music and food was great! The drinks were absolutely delicious and the customer service was spectacular. All the employees were great! Shout out to Darren, Mauricio and Melissa and the kitchen staff they made my night and the experience so amazing that I can't wait to go back. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my after-work spot. I'm looking forward to going there again.“
“This is the second time that we have eaten at this gem near the theater district. We were there for lunch. We each had sangria, I had the seafood paella and my wife had a shrimp burrito. Great food, friendly service and very reasonable pricing“
“We grabbed an early reso prior to a performance downtown. By the time we left, the place was abuzz with great music, a cool vibe, and great service. We started off with a couple of cocktails which were unique and quite refreshing. Our server, Romi, gave us suggestions and they were spot on. The hummus was some of the best we've ever had. Creamy with warm whole chickpeas on top along with some spice which all melted in our mouths. Great consistency with some fresh challah to clean the plate. The burning potato was a nice combo of smashed spuds along with creme fraiche and shaved horseradish. Really rich and smooth! The Spanish Mackerel was sitting in a sauce of tomato seeds and spices. The remaining challah was a nice sponge to soak up every bit of it. We topped off the meal with their cheesecake...nothing ordinary at all. It was creamy, buttery and unique in it's own way. Stellar experience!“
“I have to say that I was so pleasantly surprised at how great the service was at this very popular wine bar. We went in on a Friday night before seeing a play across the street. The staff could not have been nicer, very helpful with our selections and very professional. The manager even remembered us after we stopped back in after the play. The wine selections are nicely curated and the food is delicious. Will definitely stop back again.“
“Abbiamo trovato Via Toscana per caso, ed è stata una coincidenza perfetta! Andrea e il resto dello staff sono stati gentilissimi, accoglienti, e precisi. Esperienza italiana di accoglienza vera e calorosa. Abbiamo fatto un aperitivo e dopocena al bancone e siamo stati tutti molto soddisfatti dell’esperienza. Grande chef Alessandro. Molto consigliato“
“This address was recommended to me by a food critic. Everything we selected was delicious: cheese & charcuterie board, pasta dishes (we tried the carbonara burrata, truffle gnocchi and short rib fettuccine). Don’t leave without trying the tiramisu. Not to forget the perfectly balanced margarita. Very friendly staff. Will definitely come back.“
“Ostrica is a gem! Awesome happy hour, and the oysters are always fresh & meaty. Ownership obviously cares about the product they put out, every dish we've had has been on point. Let's make sure this place is around for a long time!“
“Greywind was, for us, everything its reputation anticipated. A lively and comfortable place with very attentive servers. Our waiter, Rob, was both incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly funny the entire night! Plus, we had a birthday in our party and the chocolate writing is quite possibly the most precise and beautiful food writing I have witnessed. I think it speaks somewhat to the expertise in their kitchen.“
“Such a beautiful space, delicious tapas, warm staff, great wine selection, clean and the prices a great! Great space fir meetings, lunch, dinner, … Did I mention they have a nice Happy Hour!? Yes they do! I have recommended it and will definitely revisit“
“One of my favorite restaurants in the city! Their chicken liver mousse is the best, but I love that no matter what I pick from the menus or specials, I know that it’ll be amazing. Staff is also really friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here many times and hope to go back many more!“
“Hello all Google Map friends!A while ago we had gone to this new restaurant for me, since my wife had gone with some friends. That's why she highly recommended it to me, friends.I must say that the place was very welcoming, from the moment we entered we provided excellent service, as well as the service at the table. The food was great, I always love that the Chefs leave their particular stamp on each dish that one eats and especially the presentation of each of the dishes that they served us...!I highly recommend you go, the atmosphere is very good, there is a wonderful atmosphere inside the restaurant.Hi all Google Map friends! While ago we had gone to this new restaurant for me, since my wife had gone with some friends. “A different venture from your regular Dykman experience. It is an intimate, sophisticated culinary experience inspired by owner Felix Abarca's birthplace Ecuador. Fusing rich flavors found in Ecuadorian cuisine with its food and beverage program they offer an experience in the shape of a glass or plate.Staff is always inviting and on point. Place is always immaculate and organized. Live music on the weekends by local artist or even the bartender "extrangero music" is always of great taste and not too loud.Pop-up and collaborations with chefs or bartenders happen regularly. The amazing wine list is unique and curated by a great connoisseur and wine enthusiast, the owner Felix. The coziness of this place is what makes it even more special.“
“I really wanted to love this place, having heard great reviews from friends. But … I found the food to be lacking in taste (particularly the Gilda and Kroketas) and the presentation was similar to what my mother would have done. Not bad, just average. I read about its Basque heritage but nothing about the restaurant and food really felt Basque to me (and I lived in Spain for a few years, working in the Basque Country). And more importantly, I found the wine to be middling. Nonetheless, my friend and I had a great time and the service was excellent.“
“Soogil is a genius and his training and creativity shows. Everything is made and plated expertly and the staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant is a great value as my friend and I shared the glass noodles, cod, pork belly, a dessert, and a drink and the total was $80. Would highly recommend. Run, don't walk.“
“Cello is a cozy spot with a decent selection of drinks (beer, wine, spirits) and small plates. The interior is really charming, with wood and exposed brick making it feel more like a relative's home than a bar in midtown Manhattan. There's bar seating, and a few small tables. Overall not many seats, expect a wait if you try to come at peak times. Drinks were fine -- good beer selection and a list of cocktails that was balanced, without being overwhelming. Service was excellent, the bartenders were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit for a more intimate get together or a date!“
“We had a marvelous time and will be back soon. The dishes scored high above already high expectations we had having visited all of Chef Andres' restaurants in DC in October, and the new diners who we brought were most pleased with their experience as well.“
“Came here with a vegan friend who is from way out of town. She really wanted to eat here and they were really nice to take us at the bar without a reservation. Service was good. Food was tasty. Liked the oyster mushroom chicken and waffles. Perhaps the best is the ambiance tho. Pink, fun and beautiful!“
“Had a nice dinner with exceptionally good service, specifically from a waitstaff named Shante. She deserves 5 stars. The mojitos were quite good, but for $18 I would say that they we're not worth it. The interior is pleasant and has some nice colors. The back room seemed to have great energy, even on a very rainy day. The only thing I didn't like was that I got the Pollo Manigua, recommended by male waiter, who was also nice. It incredibly good, but I would call it a rip-off. Only because they simply don't give enough chicken.“
“My family and I stopped here for a quick dinner late Thursday. The ambiance was fun, with a wide variety of music and happy patrons laughing throughout the restaurant. Although the music was a tad loud for regular volume conversations, we enjoyed it overall. The food was enjoyable and the service was amazing! We had a very attentive server and the manager was kind enough to check on us during our meal.Thank you“
“I love love love this place. Best steak tacos around!! Caesar is an amazing bartender! Keeps my glass full and cold! ❤️Whether it’s a hard day or a great day I always leave this place smiling ?Catch us here for amazing taco Tuesdays ?“
“There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didn't like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldn't give the surprise because they didn't do that there. That's what I liked. I'm quite disappointed.“
“Melanie's team from Kubeh did the most amazing, professional job catering our French department admission's day event at La Maison Francaise. We are so grateful for her delicious food, gorgeous presentation, prompt coordination, flexibility and patience! Thank you!!“
“Wow!! Just around the corner from where I live and so glad I stopped in!!! The food is so fresh and well seasoned and flavorful. I had the garlic shrimp, meatballs and half chicken. The meatballs have a little lemon which I've never had and makes them so fresh. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tender and bright. So satisfying. Great and friendly service. Can't wait to come back.“
“was packed but had a great time here. Charlie the bartender was so sweet and super attentive even when it was so busy. thank you for a great night Charlie!! the lychee martinis are so worth the hype for just $8, they’re dangerously delicious!“
“Several things I’d recommend about THE PURPLE TONGUE. 1) The unique wide selection of rare wines. The owner Peter spent a lot of time in Asia & SE Asia & Europe. He totally understands great wines. 2) the best baked salmon in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood & I’m a salmon lover. 3) the relaxing atmosphere of his indoor & outdoor seating space. And even outdoors the massive plants section off the eatery and the sidewalk for privacy 4) last but not least the great jazz & blues entertainment which sometimes features vocalist for your listening & enjoyment pleasure“
“I’m not usually the biggest fan of ramen but the miso ramen was sooo good! genuinely the best ramen i’ve ever had. the staff was very nice and made sure i knew what kind of meat was in my dish before ordering. i work nearby and will definitely return soon!“
“great cozy french spot in the LES! vibe, food, drinks and service all impressed. all of the food was fantastic but highly highly recommend the shrimp and brussel sprouts . ambiance is cozy chic french speakeasy, prices super reasonable, and music is great as well. definitely recommend!! ?“
“Flavorful and satisfying! We started with the Callos, which combined a slightly sweet delectable sauce with astoundingly tender chopped tripe (I would liken it to a savory marshmallow, almost). The chorizo and garbanzo played their part serviceably. We followed it with the Uni Palabok. The uni and caviar were very tasty, and it was nice to try quality ingredients. However, the relative intensity of the sauce somewhat drowned out the more delicate flavors of the uni and caviar.(From my wife who grew up eating Palabok, it is *extremely* elevated)Our last entree was the Lengua de Champinon, and it was phenomenal! The tongue was expertly cooked and wonderfully tender, and the creamy mushroom sauce was a great pairing for it.For dessert, they don't have it listed on the menu yet, but they had some Tres Leches cake available. The cake was perfectly saturated with milk sauce while maintaining it's form, and instead of the standard whipped cream, it had meringue on top which was quite interesting! It was a bit pricey, but the menu is online so that's no surprise.“
“Food absolutely delicious! Healthy and super tasty. Variety of spreads, some recipes I been brought home. Also I like that you can add to your salad any protein - meat, fish, octopus. So I had I believe the best octopus option in the city - salad with grilled octopus, extremely tasty and satisfying.Cozy atmosphere for family dinner, friendly serviceHighly recommended, better to do reservations“
“My new fav tapas bar! Their vermouth selection is great; the dishes are excellent and combines the right flavors and textures. The cheesecake is also mindblowing - no pictures because I was long done with it by the time I remembered to take a photo.“
“We had a great dinner at ABC Cocina last night. All the food was delicious including the guac, patatas bravas, fluke crudo, hearts of palm salad and tacos. We also loved the speciality margaritas and the churros for dessert. The meal was a little spendy but at least you get what you pay for unlike many other overpriced restaurants in NYC these days.“
“My friend and I ordered:Seafood pancakeDolsot Al bapDuck bulgogiSpicy monkfishCorn creme bruleeI would definately go back for the dolsot al bap and spicy monk fish dishes. The dolsot comes w a beautiful uni creme combined with the crispy bits of rice and textural experience of the fish roe was amazing. The Spicy monk fish had ~4 to 5 small pieces coated with smokey/spicy sauce and some veggies mixed w rice was a great combo.I personally judge a place on how crispy the seafood pancakes are and this was CRISPY. Definately would get again, it was also full of big chunks of seafood which is always a plus. The duck bulgogi was the least memoriable. It had the texture of duck but mainly just tastes like regular bulgogi.Corn creme brulee was sweet but overly sweet with a minimal corn flavor and some corn bits at the bottom.Service:9/10The waitress helping us get seatted for our rsvp were accomodating with grtting a seat closer to the wall vs the aisle. Our waiter was informative and had great sense when asking if we wanted to take any pictures/videos before mixing the Al bap for us.Also advising both of us to get two dishes before we ordered was helpful. Before peak hours, the atmosphere was pleasant. But, the tables are very close together and when its packed during peak hours it can be challenging speaking to one another due to the level of noise/conversation.“
