“This place, to me, is such an under-rated, undiscovered gem. Every time we are theremcrowded, we keep expecting it to be way more crowded as it's not a huge place, but the food and service are on par with some of the best tapas places around. And the prices are also Very reasonable too. They are unique, in that they are more Argentinian tapas then Spanish or Basque. So, in addition to favorites like paella, grilled octopus, and patatas bravas, there's also a decent selection of pastas and Italian fair via Argentina. And in warmer weather, the back garden can't be beat. Always fun music playing (often 80s dance or rock hits), homemade sangrias and a finished meal with free shots of Limoncello round out the meal. Friendly, top-notch service too. Let's keep this place going! They'd be worth the wait.“

But … I found the food to be lacking in taste (particularly the Gilda and Kroketas) and the presentation was similar to what my mother would have done. Not bad, just average. I read about its Basque heritage but nothing about the restaurant and food really felt Basque to me (and I lived in Spain for a few years, working in the Basque Country). And more importantly, I found the wine to be middling. Nonetheless, my friend and I had a great time and the service was excellent.“

“Flavorful and satisfying! We started with the Callos, which combined a slightly sweet delectable sauce with astoundingly tender chopped tripe (I would liken it to a savory marshmallow, almost). The chorizo and garbanzo played their part serviceably. We followed it with the Uni Palabok. The uni and caviar were very tasty, and it was nice to try quality ingredients. However, the relative intensity of the sauce somewhat drowned out the more delicate flavors of the uni and caviar.(From my wife who grew up eating Palabok, it is *extremely* elevated)Our last entree was the Lengua de Champinon, and it was phenomenal! The tongue was expertly cooked and wonderfully tender, and the creamy mushroom sauce was a great pairing for it.For dessert, they don't have it listed on the menu yet, but they had some Tres Leches cake available. The cake was perfectly saturated with milk sauce while maintaining it's form, and instead of the standard whipped cream, it had meringue on top which was quite interesting! It was a bit pricey, but the menu is online so that's no surprise.“

The ambiance is sophisticated and intimate, great for a small group of friends or a date. It pains me to give them four stars but I have to because of the service - I swear the waitress looked right at my friend and I waiting for a table and hid in the back. There were plenty of tables, so the bartender asked us if we'd like to sit, and then went and asked her to seat us. I felt like everything we asked for bothered her and I couldn't say thank you enough. Maybe it was an off night for her I'm not sure but from other reviews seems to be a theme. “Top-notch food choices. We had the snapper for2 ($85), which was delicious. Came with a gem salad, but nothing else. Roasted artichokes ($18) were also fabulous. Dessert was their own cheesecake ($12), which was out of this world yummy. More like creme brulee, but fabulous. Tomato bread ($11) I'd skip next time. My only complaint was prices were about 30% higher than they should have been. Waiter asked us what was the special occasion. Now I know why.“

“This is by far, and I mean BY FAR the cleaniest Dominican restaurant i been in. Pastelitos on point, that's hard to find. Most importantly Fresh, Good vibes plus excellent service, We all know that's hard to find now in days. Im really happy with this spot. After pandemic restaurant and service not same anymore, and more expensive. Definitely go back.“

“This is a restaurant specializing in grilled chicken. I have only gotten takeouts from here so I cannot speak to what the restaurant atmosphere is like. The food portion is generous an prices are reasonable for the neighborhood. I usually get the half chicken. The chicken seasoning is good and I like the smoky grill flavor, but I find that the meat can be quite dry and tough.“

“Mabel invited me to her favorite Spanish restaurant. At the door we were welcomed by the Manager Senor Ariel who was warm and friendly. The place had a great ambience where one could carry a decent conversation without shouting at each other. The food was AMAZING! We had the calamares with their special dipping sauce, the paella Valenciana and the sopas mariscos. All so sumptuous with fresh seafood and ingredients. The special sangria was sooo great! The flan was to die for ! Light and not too sweet! Certainly a place I would not hesitate to bring friends and family over. Maybe next time we could listen to the jazz band too. Thank you Senor Ariel for a fantastic dining experience!“

“It was nice to find a Halal place where I could sit down and eat. My only takeback was that I was hoping to find the usual chicken over rice or chicken Gyro, but they serve chicken, biryani, and other Indian base Halal foods. That was not an issue as what I ordered tasted very good. I had grilled chicken over salad and my friend had chicken tacos. There was a variety of food choices, so you will definitely find what you like and the food is tasty.“
