The oxtail soup is the reason I keep coming back. It’s well cooked, generous portion, and satisfying. Service can run slow, but it seems to be a family-run spot with a hole-in-the-wall charm, so it comes with the territory and is worth the wait.
We got mofongo with garlic shrimp and mayo ketchup. Also got arroz con gandules y cane guisada. The rice was good but The mofongo is one of the best’s I’ve tried, so soft!!!! The shrimps were made with garlic and cilantro! So so so so good!!! The tostones were amazing y la carne guisada as well. EVERYTHING WAS SO SO SO GOOD!
Breakfast/lunch was so so delicious, mangu especially was so so flavorful and not too much, so delicious ! We had “3 golpes” some pork, chicken ughh so so good, definitely recommend!!! And the lady was so nice, thank you!!
