Galicia Tapas Reviews
delicious food and drinks menu. service was attentive too.
I visited this charming spot on a warm summer day and decided to try the Paella Marinera, which took about 45 minutes to prepare. It was quite tasty, although just a tad overcooked, but we savored every delicious bite! Our server was not only friendly but also very attentive. When she took a break, the new server stepped in effortlessly, maintaining the excellent service. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu.

Galicia Tapas offers authentic Spanish food with exceptional service. Customers frequently praise the sardines appetizer and flavorful sangria, especially the cava sangria. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal, though it may not be suitable for celebration surprises. With Spanish chefs, it provides a great experience of genuine Spanish cuisine. The staff is friendly and welcoming, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Many have highlighted the ensalada de gambas and noted that all food is well made and tasteful. The kitchen closes at 11 PM, and diners can enjoy watching sports through the large windows that bring in natural light. The empanadas served on the house are also a delightful treat. The menu features fantastic tapas and perfect pulpo, with attentive yet professional service. The wine list is quite good, and the ambiance makes guests feel as if they’re in Spain. Overall, Galicia Tapas is regarded as a hidden gem in Washington Heights, where both the food and service receive high marks, creating a friendly and genuine Spanish experience.
