“Food was delicious! Fresh and unique! Loved it all!“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“We went to this restaurant to try the food in order to use them for catering. The lunch was delicious with the mixed grill being the star especially lamb and chicken chops which were absolutely tender and flavorful The zucchini pancakes were great as was the spicy salad. We had the feeling everything would be good. We decided from lunch to use this restaurant for catering and it was fantastic. The guest loved everything and wanted to know were we got this wonderful food. Highly recommend“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“

“We LOVE this place. My partner and I were visiting NYC for our Babymoon and had heard Florentin was delicious, but we were blown away. Not only was the food fantastic (we had steak frites), the service was impeccable. Sammy was an incredible host that made our night even more enjoyable!! He was welcoming, fun, and generous. As my partner and I were celebrating, he made us feel so special and taken care of by providing us with mint tea & tiramisu that was to DIE FOR. “Pulled up for a bday night & my experience was great! Ordered the branzino & that came with a side of veggies , which was all well seasoned & tasty! The hookah was great as well. All in all, the vibes in here are calm, laid-back yet classy and luxurious.

I def recommend if you want to pop out for an occasion & a great time 🙌🏽☺.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! It was super fresh, hot, and delicious. Very well seasoned and the perfect meal for a cold day. Highly recommend and would definitely be coming back. We had the Yemeni soup and the chicken fahsa which were served hot. Service is fast even though it was busy which is greatly appreciated.“

“Are the chicken schnitzel had a great texture and flavour. I’m overall the dishes were solid. The pasta was just the right level of al dente.

The staff was also very friendly.

Just two minor complaints.
- They messed up my salad order, and brought a tuna salad instead the salad I ordered
- Maybe it depends on on the Restaurant but usually happy hour means two drinks for the price of one where is here it was a 30% discount“

“The BEST place - I always order the 4 options of amazing tapas dips/ spreads with pita. Perfect when having people over, and always a hit at a potluck party. (And surprisingly affordable!!!) The atmosphere is romantic/ fun and yet still easy and casual.“

“A lovely small place in west village.

The octopus from the appetizers was quite a good portion and was cooked perfectly.
The beet salad was a no for me. I felt like it was cut too small and a bit overdressed, so I couldn’t really taste it.

They also have a good wine selection, so I may come again for that octopus and another glass.“

“I went to cava for the first time. When I got there, the employees by the name of Jessica, Cynthia, Wilmys, served my food with kindness and dilligence. They rung me up fine and everything went smoothly. However, when I opened my food, I was deeply disturbed by my chicken. It was not fully cooked and it deeply disappointed me. I do not know what's going on with the kitchen!! Although I liked the service, I do not think I will return to eat.“

“Stylish restaurant in NoMad with a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed brunch, the service was friendly and attentive, the drinks were excellent, and the menu had a nice variety of options.
The burger was a standout, as were the unique martini offerings. Great spot for a nice brunch or dinner.
There is also a cocktail bar on the lower level.“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

“We originally wanted to dine at Salma, but since it was full, the team kindly walked us over to their sister restaurant, Fattoush, and we’re so glad they did.
The restaurant has a lovely, homely atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The shrimp appetizer was absolutely top-class, perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The muhammara was also delicious with just the right amount of kick. The only dish that didn’t quite stand out for us was the chicken shawarma.
A huge shout-out to the wonderful woman serving the entire restaurant by herself. She was incredibly efficient, attentive, and kept everything running seamlessly despite managing it all alone. Her warmth and hard work made the experience even more enjoyable.
