“A very nice place to check out if you’re into mediterranean cuisine! Excellent vegetarian options and delicious food. But if you’re someone who enjoys good service like me then this is not the place. after being sat down for 15 mins the server gave the menu. After reminding 3 times, we finally got water which was bottled and we were not told about I assumed they would bring tap water and on top of that they will randomly put 15% or 18% tip irrespective of party size. Waiting for menu for 15 mins and then waiting for water not sure what kind of service one is getting and to top it off getting the drinks ordered post meal! Again if you’re a foody then this a good place to try but not for the service.“

I ordered the Swarma sandwich, a side of Falafel, and pistachio baklava (to satisfy my greedy spirit). Everything 10 out of 10. Very fresh. You know how some restaurants over fry the falafel, and it's like a little rock, well not here!!! I highly recommend- the quality of food will not disappoint.“

“I ordered take out here and was happy with the food and experience. It took them 5-10 minutes to prepare my order that was quick and easy. I also thought the food was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken platter with a side of falafel and some baklava for dessert. The portion sizes were good and it was a great quick and easy meal. They do charge a service charge even when ordering take out which I thought was strange but overall it was a good experience!“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

The food was beyond delectable—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. And honestly, the food deserves to be mentioned twice because it was just that good.

The service struck the perfect balance between warm, welcoming hospitality and true professionalism. The atmosphere is the ideal blend of chic and rustic, creating a cozy yet elevated dining experience.

We had a small mix-up with our reservation, but the manager handled it graciously and quickly got everything sorted out, which made an already great experience even better.

Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but it’s too good not to share. Then again, I don’t think they’re hurting for customers—they were completely packed on a Monday evening, and after dining here, I can see exactly why.“

“We are used to eat Turkish food and I can say this place has very good chef. The waiters are very kind and knowledgeable, and the ambience is also elegant and classy. It looks like an expensive place but it isn’t. I’ll be back. We shared several small plates and the desserts, therefore it was even cheaper.“

“We LOVE this place. My partner and I were visiting NYC for our Babymoon and had heard Florentin was delicious, but we were blown away. Not only was the food fantastic (we had steak frites), the service was impeccable. Sammy was an incredible host that made our night even more enjoyable!! He was welcoming, fun, and generous. As my partner and I were celebrating, he made us feel so special and taken care of by providing us with mint tea & tiramisu that was to DIE FOR. Literally, I would give anything for more of that tiramisu! Thank you so much to the staff at Florentin, and a very big thank you to Sammy for a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to return“

“I tried their salta, which is a sort of vegetable stew. It was excellent, served the right way in the traditional bowl with the right kind of bread. It isn't meant to be a fine dining experience, more like the ones you find all over Yemen. I'll go back and try some of their other yemeni dishes...and you should, too!“

“Visited for a friend's birthday. Large party of about 16 people. We did the price fix menu for efficiency. The food was great! The servers were a little cold at times when we asked questions about the courses but I will assume it was just because it was such a large group.
Prior to visiting, I didn't think I liked Mediterranean food but this food was excellent!“

The octopus from the appetizers was quite a good portion and was cooked perfectly.
The beet salad was a no for me. I felt like it was cut too small and a bit overdressed, so I couldn’t really taste it.

They also have a good wine selection, so I may come again for that octopus and another glass.“

The food was exceptional (especially the green beans, the mezze platter, the pasta al limone and the ribeye steak...) The service was amazing too, and our server Noya was great. “I absolutely love this place! Everything is so nice, the prices are really good, and the food is always fresh and consistent. My favorite dish is definitely the meat burek—it’s always fresh and delicious. Their desserts are also great, especially the tres leches!

The staff is super, super nice. They’re always friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. They also stay open pretty late, which is a huge plus.

Overall, they really deliver on what they promise every time. Great food, great prices, great service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite Bosnian spots in the city.“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! The day couldn't have been any better. I can't wait to try one of his delicious Italian recipes this holiday season. I highly recommend the Little Owl. I certainly will be going back in the future!“
