The food at Elea is always outstanding, the service this time...not so much. AND, as the people sitting next to us were leaving, the man said "do not order the cheesecake." I didn't ask why he said that but....he clearly didn't like it. Unfortunately, our server was not the best but I guess that's to be expected on a holiday.
True UWS gem.We have eaten in and ordered out and every time the food has been exquisite.The steak is among top you can get in NYC - definitely better than some of the very hyped places - tender and juicy. The lamb is perfectly seasoned and very tender too. Tirokafteri for starters was phenomenal with perfect blend of spice and cheese.Add super kind service and you have a perfect blend.
