An amazing selection of wines from the islands of Santorini and Crete. The owners warmly welcomed us--a lovely Greek custom. It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants in NYC. Even though I left the UWS for Hudson Yards, I come as often as I can.

Had dinner with my friends last night. It was lovely! We had Christina as our server and she was so pleasant and kept checking on us. We had mussels, chicken slovaki, hummus spread, wild mushroom risotto and halibut. Everything was tasty. It is very busy spot.
More of an Instagram place, not really my thing. Decided to check it out due to an article I read. Much bigger than it looks from outside, there is a full dining area downstairs. We always order Octopus at any Greek spot, but the one here was different, as it sat on a creamy fava bean spread along with onions and tomatoes. It wasn't what I expected, but it was quite good. The lamb chops were way too peppery for our taste, but it was definitely a quality cut of meat. Service was "meh", nothing extraordinary. We ordered a bottle of wine, so they made a few extra trips to our table to keep our glasses topped off. It seems a lot of locals like the place, but I'm not sure I would be a repeat customer.

Really nice for large get together or date night. The service is excellent and the food was good, just overpriced. It gets busy on the weekends so consider getting a reservation, but they have a large dining area.

After first trying Elea I have made several trips back! The food and drinks are consistently great, I would highly highly recommend the fig martini. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly and always super attentive.
The food at Elea is always outstanding, the service this time...not so much. AND, as the people sitting next to us were leaving, the man said "do not order the cheesecake." I didn't ask why he said that but....he clearly didn't like it. Unfortunately, our server was not the best but I guess that's to be expected on a holiday.
True UWS gem.We have eaten in and ordered out and every time the food has been exquisite.The steak is among top you can get in NYC - definitely better than some of the very hyped places - tender and juicy. The lamb is perfectly seasoned and very tender too. Tirokafteri for starters was phenomenal with perfect blend of spice and cheese.Add super kind service and you have a perfect blend.

This restaurant has maintained its commitment to providing terrific and innovative Greek dishes, good selection of liquor and wines as well as a waitstaff who are professional in their delivery of service to their dinners. A truly enjoyable experience and one I repeat ofter.
