“My friend and I went to Miss Ada at 11am on a Saturday. My friend had been previously and requested a table in the back that has the outdoor feel without being pummeled by the cold. If you don't have a reservation, I recommend going close to 11am, as there was already a line at opening. The atmosphere has cute vibes, but nothing outstanding.
We ordered the Lamb Shawarma Hummus ($18) and the Israeli Breakfast ($15). These came with a side of warm pita, which was warm and fluffy, though I would argue it was not enough for both of the dishes. The lamb shawarma hummus was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The lamb flavor completely elevated the hummus, and the combination of flavors was a knockout. I would pass on the Israeli breakfast as $15 was totally not worth it for a few greens, eggs, and dips that paled in comparison for the hummus. While the food was tasty, they advertise these as family style. I personally felt like it wasn't enough food to share, and if I'm paying $21 for my entire meal, I would prefer to leave feeling satisfied.
Regarding service, they provide a bottle of water that you can fill your cups with, and they replaced ours when it was low. The food also came out incredibly fast (less than 5 minutes?). Our server did one check-back but we were quickly in-and-out, so I cannot speak to a highly attentive level of service. Overall, I would return to try a different hummus and a more filling brunch entree.“

“I’m a server at a restaurant in Prospect Heights. My guests have been talking about Hart’s every time I make a wine recommendation or ask them where they like to go. 7 months after first hearing about Hart’s, I was able to go on a night off. Not gonna lie, the service was impeccable; friendly; open concept kitchen and kindness. Elan was immediately approachable and the whole team took care of us immediately. We will definitely be coming back - and I’ll be sending my partner with his friends since he doesn’t have an industry job.“

“I recently had a delightful dining experience at Leland Eating and Drinking House in Brooklyn. Starting with a refreshing porter beer from the tap, I then savored the incredible Japanese sweet potato, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Porchetta Sandwich with ZA'ATAR CHIPS. Encased in their soft and freshly made bread, the sandwich was a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by the crispy and tasty house-made chips. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to using high-quality ingredients and crafting memorable dishes. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy exceptional food. I look forward to returning to Leland Eating and Drinking House to explore more of their enticing menu offerings! 10 star review!!!“

“Had some great dishes, but didn't earn the 5th star for me. Go for the seafood. Those are the best dishes. The lamb was very average and the kebonah looks better than it was. Service was great. Also, save room for the chocolate cake dessert. Simple but phenomenal.“

“Overall, a solid dining experience. Everything I tried was flavorful, especially the lamb, which was cooked perfectly and full of taste. The rice was also nicely done and complemented the meal well. However, the chicken wings were a bit of a letdown—too small for my liking, so personally, I wasn’t a fan of those. That said, the drinks were on point and definitely added to the experience. If you’re looking for a place with good food and drinks, this spot is worth checking out, though I’d skip the wings next time.“

“I am sick of reading all these negative ratings that people are leaving this amazing restaurant. All of these people have never eaten here and are just making ridiculous political nonsensical comments. People of all types are welcome here. There are many local Jews that eat here. the food is phenomenal! Chef Rawia always comes out to check on the clients to say hello and make small talk. So many racists just throwing out lies. They need to get a life! I recommend Tanoreen and looking forward to having marinated lamb shank, Califlower steak and some Knafeh. I will be back soon and bring my friends. ❤️“

“Fantastic setup and atmosphere, a little loud from other tables due to the acoustics of the place.. but it’s worth it because of the looks for sure! Food was ALIVE, fresh and rich in flavour and many little plates of different options that are served with the main dish. If you’re in Brooklyn, do your self a favour. שלום, peace.“

“I am SO glad I found this place! The shrimp kebab seriously is divine, I think I developed an addiction. Also, they have happy hour every day until 7pm and their house wine is so good. The place is cozy and relaxing. On a recent Saturday night I was there for 4 hours... they never rush you, the staff is super friendly.“
“Was lucky enough to attend an 8-course chef’s tasting event. It was fabulous. Best octopus I’ve ever eaten.“

“I adore this restaurant. It's everything you could possibly want no matter the season. It's the best kept secret in the neighborhood, so consider yourself lucky to be getting this intel via this review. The ingredients are fresh, the service is warm, they go above and beyond. I took a guest from the other side of the world here, because I wanted to show them the best of New York, which is exactly what this place delivers.“

“Amazing food at this female owned neighborhood place with great vibe. It’s funky in a good way and all are welcome—no snotty Bushwick thing here. The cocktails and French fries are what hooked me, but try any of the specials or anything off the menu and you won’t be disappointed. Everything is delicious!“

“Didn’t try the food but came in for drinks one night. The bartender told the best jokes and made my friend and I a drink out of saffron syrup he had made. So delish. The owner seemed pretty chill too. Looking forward to trying the food in the future!“

“Great restaurant and bar in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge.
Went in for happy hour and stayed for dinner.
Special thanks to Michael, if you pop in and see the vinyl wall, my choice was Born To Run
Get the chicken schnitzel, it’s the size of a subway train.“

“Servers were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Went for brunch and food was delicious. A lot of the brunch options were a twist on a breakfast staple but everything we ordered at the table was tasty. They even had a kids menu for my friend's 4 year old and she ate all the schnitzel. Went at 10 and wasn't too busy and we we were able to get a large table inside. I suggest making a reservation.
Kid-friendliness: Kid Menu, crayons and coloring pages, high chairs available, kid cups“

“Not sure where to start, but I will try.
I moved to the neighborhood about 6 months ago, and while there are places to eat that are "fine", nothing really all that exciting. Then I went to Della.
Before I get to the food, I need to say that love the interior. It's a cool vibe inside, and the mix of 2-seat booths and beautiful mid-century modern chaired tables are just beautiful. Wherever it was, I would like it, but it is an absolute gem of a place in the neighborhood. It's like nothing else around, and it just feels a little bit special inside.
To the food -- it is top notch -- really, really good. Definitely start with the olives -- I never liked olives but these are a nice way to start the experience.
I haven't yet tried all of the different appetizers, but the ones I have tried have also been outstanding. The wings are just the right size -- while I wanted more of, it would've spoiled my appetite. The crostini and the meatballs were also hits.
For dinner, the Duck Ragu pasta, the bolognese and the roast chicken were all outstanding. I would say that if this place were in Soho or midtown, but I love that it is a local place. It really feels special in the neighborhood.
Did I mention the drinks? I can be difficult to please sometimes at the bar, but the Manhattans were just right, and the other special drinks (like the intro to Aperol) ... just wow.
Finally, to top it all off, the executive chef sat at the table and we chatted for a good part of the evening the third time I was there. The wait staff is helpful, attentive, and not overbearing. I will be back again and again. If you are anywhere near Windsor Terrace (or even if you aren't), this place is special and will be my go-to from now on.“

“Tava is my go to for Mediterranean in the area. Have only ordered take out, however. The appetizer plate is generous and the Turkish bread is thick and always fresh. Only place I have had Pide (always get the special mixed) the sultans delight is a treat and quite a large portion.“

“We went here for dinner with family a few days ago.
We had tapas, steak and chicken.
Everything was great.
The boss was very attentive and nice, as was the waiter.
The ambience was also great.
Here you can also simply enjoy your cocktail at the end of the day.
If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.“

“Phenomenal birthday cake for my mom. Light yet not too airy, great natural flavors and perfect balance of icing and cake. Also, you don’t feel bad after eating it. It’s just sweet enough that it’s satisfying, yet it’s not overpowering at all.
The only thing more phenomenal than the cake is the owner, Melissa. A chat with her will make your day. She is a real one and a good soul. We’ve got to protect her at all costs!
Go to this bakery ASAP!“

“Let's face it; you are not coming here for a fancy dining experience. I will say that the staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are really decent. The food is flavorful and very fresh. I would definitely go for chicken instead of lamb next time. I was not aware that the lamb was "gyro" style when I ordered it. The chicken shawarma looked much nicer. The hot sauce is delightfully spicy, and the babaghanouj is so delish. Yummm. I will be back.“
