“Wow! 🔥 This place was absolutely incredible.

The food was beyond delectable—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. And honestly, the food deserves to be mentioned twice because it was just that good.

The service struck the perfect balance between warm, welcoming hospitality and true professionalism. The atmosphere is the ideal blend of chic and rustic, creating a cozy yet elevated dining experience.

We had a small mix-up with our reservation, but the manager handled it graciously and quickly got everything sorted out, which made an already great experience even better.

Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but it’s too good not to share. Then again, I don’t think they’re hurting for customers—they were completely packed on a Monday evening, and after dining here, I can see exactly why.“

As if the food wasn't good enough, the staff was also incredible. The bartenders Claudia and John were so personable and funny and helpful, they really made the evening perfect. Will definitely return. One of the best restaurants ever and you'd be a fool to not go.“

The food was exceptional (especially the green beans, the mezze platter, the pasta al limone and the ribeye steak...) The service was amazing too, and our server Noya was great. Malka is a new favorite!“

“We had an amazing experience at Dar525. We started with the mezze platter, which was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also ordered the pistachio pizza, and it quickly became a favorite.

Our server, Cece, was fantastic,attentive, friendly, and made our visit even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated the chance to meet the owners, Ahmad and Messaoud. Their warmth and hospitality added a special touch.

“Cute place with great vibe serving Moroccan dishes in fabulous Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.

Indoor and outdoor seating. We came around 11am on a Sunday and were seated right away.

We ordered couscous and Moroccan eggs. The couscous comes with generous amount of merguez sausage (or you can have it with lamb shank) and broth in separate bowl. Moroccan eggs is similar to shakshuka, comes with 2 poached eggs and pita bread in a tomato sauce accompanied with roasted potatoes.

We also ordered fried calamari, chicken gyro and a few sides. Only suggestion would be to properly course the food. It all came out at once and we had to rush to eat everything before it got cold. “Samia’s has been in Bay Ridge for decades. My mom used to buy her Syrian food from there as she aged and was tired of cooking. Our ancestors came from Damascus and Alleppo Syria. Samia cooks with the same spices and meticulous style of mom and Sito. Whenever I travel to Bay Ridge to visit friends or family, Samia’s is my first stop off to get some of the old authentic flavors of my childhood. 🥰“

“Food is delicious as hell and I like the energy and people are polite, but I did ask if I could replace the baba ganoush with a different appetizer, they clarified I didn't want baba ganoush, and then it was very much in my falafel platter. I just kinda. Hate eggplant but also food waste and I didn't want them to have to toss my platter or whatever if I asked for it fixed. They also skipped the hot sauce and I asked for a LOT of hot sauce. It made me sad.“

Ingredients are always fresh and though I keep meaning to try something else, their falafels are too good that I always get the same thing. The fries that come with the falafel sandwich meal are just lovely and their kicker sauce is chefs kiss.“
