“It was difficult to snag a spot for dinner because they are always booked. I don’t know if walk-ins are welcomed, but I used the OpenTable notification to get my table for the evening.I liked the food A LOT. Of course, it’s nice to have an unlimited supply of entrees and pitas. The portion of the main course is not very big, but you will probably be full from eating all that hummus and baba ganoush stuff.“
“I grabbed dinner here and it did not disappoint. This was a cute and cozy spot just a few steps from the L train. For cocktails, I started with the Spicy Mezcal Marg. It wasn't my favorite, as I expected it to be spicier, since Szechuan peppercorn and Calabrian chili were some of the ingredients used. My next drink was the Hugo Spritz, which was amazing!! It made up for the first drink: it was refreshing and sweet (but not too sweet). For apps, we had the Rye Pita and hummus. Now let me just say, I am not a hummus girlie, but the hummus here was so flavorful and smooth. It wasn't gritty as I have experienced in the past. It definitely paired well with the pita. The star of the show was the Lahmajun, which is sort of like a pizza (without cheese) with lamb. I was pleasantly surprised. The lamb, the herbs & spices were just so delicious. Our server told us to dip it in the hummus and I had no regrets. We also had the braised chicken thigh, which felt very much like comfort food. The chicken was seasoned generously and cooked to perfection. We also had the lamb meatballs, which were so tender. The pairing with pomegranate really brought the flavors out. Overall, I definitely unlocked some new tastebuds here lol. I would return again for the Lahmajun alone! Service was exceptional as well :)“
“I have eaten alot of falafel, shawarma, and other sorts of middle eastern cuisine. This is THE BEST falafel ive had in my life. Literally everything here was great. I had the baklava aswell, it was also the best I've ever had. This is a must visit for anyone in town“
“Awesome food, very authentic. Our server was very friendly and professional. We had a great time. Favorite dishes were baba ghanouj, hummus with meat and the cauliflower steak. Red wine was so good. We sat near a sunny window and there was fairuz music so the atmosphere was perfect for a lebanese.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. My toddler liked the food.“
“Very authentic, homemade style Yemeni dishes with fresh ingredients and a variety of choices. The flavours are very close to the original Yemeni food. What I loved the most is the out of the clay oven bread with the hot dipping sauce, EXCEPTIONAL! There is a little room for improvement with the service, they were generous and professional but understaffed for a busy restaurant. I recommend lamb hanith and chicken kabse dishesKid-friendliness: There are several meals suitable for the children“
“The Food and Service was amazing you should definitely try the chicken sandwich it's really good !! Also the ambiance is nice and it's a great place also to get work done. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to try new cafes.“
“Drawing its roots in the noble tradition of Yemeni coffee, this coffee house first serves fabulous beverages: especially taste the Sanaani, cardamom coffee ($10 for a pot of sharing coffee), or a classic "pour-over" ( $8 for the large model) to appreciate a beautiful expression coming from high-class Arabica coffee beans, processed with respect for the product. The typical pastries, Khaliat Alnahl and Sabaya, or even the coconut Basboassa are really all very tasty. Delicious !“
“Lovely spot, came for brunch on my birthday. Same great food and great service as always, but I was surprised to find the Yemenite Pancake renamed (which is the best thing on the menu).I always thought they were cool for putting aside differences and shouting out their southern neighbors… I mean, Yemenis food is delicious.“
“Easily one of my favorite spots for Middle Eastern eats in the city -- every single thing we had here was so delicious. The ambiance was really lovely and the servers are great at recommending dishes. This restaurant is perfect to share dishes family-style. The Labneh here is so special, truly one of my favorite I've eaten. I cannot recommend it enough, am definitely coming back soon.“
“I was super skeptical to try this at first because it didn’t seem authentic but after i gave it a try i had to come back 2 more times because it was GREAT. Jerk chicken over rice is on top. I’d recommend this to anyone especially if you’re tired of a basic chicken over rice platter. Make sure to get their dragon sauce.“
“So, as you can see, the food is very delicious ? ?Plates are empty and I forgot to take a picture. But besides food, the service is excellent ?? I can’t say more.Simply excellent ??Bartenders are really attentive to a customers, they really satisfied me, and I am picky and strict, and they cute. ? So very well done ??I will definitely and highly recommend this place. Yes. Thank you ?“
“Had lunch here on a rainy day with my mother. Not my first time at the restaurant and my mothers first time having Mediterranean cuisine. I enjoyed it just as much as previously , the food and service does not disappoint. The chicken soup , haloumi salad, mezze plate and the grill plate made me feel happy. Meat was perfectly cooked , soft and just the perfect amount of sides. The portions are big and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this restaurant. Oooh, and the pistachio pizza with the spicy honey - it deserves a separate review. Loved every minute of my lunch.“
“As expected, Solomonov delivers with K'Far Bakery in Williamsburg. Having been to the original Philadelphia outpost of K'Far, this one manages to succeed and even improve past the original. Huge, well lit, expansive space seamlessly merges Huxton lobby with K'Far Bakery space, with the restaurant group's branding prominent, punchy, and on point just as you would expect! The best way to brunch here seems to be with a group, and sharing to be able to try everything! The pistachio sticky bun was a pistachio lovers dream. The lemon cheesecake babka was a match made in heaven, soft warm, fluffy, and filled with unctuous lemony deliciousness. The almond challah Danish, another winner. The borekas with their delicious fillings, the hummus bowls, the arayes...all score top marks. The yemeni latte was delicious. Solomonov brought Israeli cuisine to the US and consistently shows a masterful hand in guiding its understanding by the American public with these delicious and approachable flavorful dishes! Can't miss this brunch spot, nor Laser Wolf!“
“Exceptional dining experience! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely divine. Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly set this restaurant apart. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!“
“Been coming here for the past month since I moved back to the neighborhood. First time there tested out the hummus, spectacular. 2nd time the shwarma and malawach with a side of spicy harissa - outstanding. This will be my go-to for Fort Greene Israeli food.“
“My friends and I are visiting from Jamaica. We had the burger deluxe, fish sandwich hero and roast chicken on rice. All were very delicious! The owner is kind and heartwarming. Smelling our food being prepared in front of us as we chatted, was a tantalizing experience.10/10, we're visiting again!“
“Really good food, we had the Mansaf (lamb), chicken schwarma, falafels, and various spreads, hummus, babaganoush etc.. in a bohemian cafe setting. We discovered there is no table service after sitting for a while, so you just order in the back with them, get your own drinks from the cold case and they'll bring the food out to your table. With these prices, it would be great if they could use real plates & cutlery and less disposables (paper plates, plastic cutlery). Nice fresh pitas, the place is always busy..“
“My girlfriend and I stopped by Fire Kabob and WOW! This place is great! Clean dining area and SUPER friendly staff. We ordered 2 plates, chicken and Lamb and then a side of eggplant burani. The food is fresh and delicious! The rice and homemade sauces are excellent. It also came with a side of bread and salad. Can't wait to try out all their other items, we will definitely be back. I would post pics but we scarfed down every bit of it. It's a must try! Chicken and Lamb - Tender and cooked perfect. Eggplant Burani - a must try, unlike anything I have ever tried. Rice - seasoned perfect and you get a lot of it. Def try the sauces that come with it.“
“The value of this place is terrific. I got a big bowl of goodies for $11. Fresh ingredients, really tasty, and they really pounded in there so you feel like you're getting a lot of food. I got five dollar baklava. Which was tasty, and a nice treat to myself but that brought it up to $18 total. I tried a lot of new things in my mix bowl. I love the sweet potatoes. The sauces were very interesting. Really fast and no one was in line. Nice staff.“
“I was passing by the neighborhood the other night, and needed to grab some food as I was planning on working late. This restaurant showed up on my yelp search and was highly rated so I decided to pop in and give their food a try. The vibe here is mostly takeout, but they do have a few seats if you choose to sit here and enjoy your meal. Interior is very utilitarian, it's a main ordering desk with a salad station and the kitchen in the back. Cashier was friendly and helped me pick from their various menu options and suggested the chicken kebab. I asked for the Afghan rice with it because I am such a huge fan of fried carrots and raisins. Service was pretty quick, I didn't have to wait too long for my food to get ready and they were generous with the side sauces. I found the food really delicious, the topping of carrots was very well done, and the rice was fluffy without being too heavy or greasy, which I liked. The chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, it was not dry and I like the flavors on it although I do think that it could use a little bit more seasoning. For my taste, I did find the kebab a little bit on the bland side. Salad was good and the sauces complemented the meal very well. The white sauce was creamy without being too heavy and the red sauce was a good consistency and appropriately spicy. If you are in the neighborhood, come through and give this place a shot, they are definitely dishing out some amazing food.“
“I ordered the Sabich Platter and it was extremely delicious. Plus, it was a good sized portion and I left feeling full. The staff was very friendly and gave me a free falafel to try (which was also tasty). Great atmosphere with Israeli music and decorations.I would definitely eat here again.“
“Amazing amazing place!!! Just made a bar mitzvah for my son there. The owner is very nice and answers all questions immediately. The food is top notch and the place is beautiful!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend this restaurant for any event!!“
“I went to tutt heights and the food was very good there was very good. the server was very nice, and the environment was excellent!Vegetarian options: There are a lot of options such as the falafel sandwich that I ordered, the hummus and a lot of the other appetizers are also vegan/vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of healthy food options such as the side I ordered which was some hummus and it was very tasty.Kid-friendliness: There are a lot of kid options on the menu and they have baby/kid chairs too“
“Greene Bites is one of those spots you go to when you're craving a bacon egg and cheese at 1 in the morning. From my first time walking in, I knew this place was it. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, their coffee keeps me going and the music is always on point. They have so many options you can't really go wrong. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure to check this spot out. 10/10 for this place!“
“For my birthday I wanted to try somewhere I had not been but that had been on my to try list and Bedawi fit the bill! Having fallen in love with Arabic food in Jerusalem many years ago, I am picky about where I eat it. Bedwai did not disappoint! We ordered a Merguez (ground lamb) Platter and a Chicken Platter. Both the lamb and the chicken were perfectly grilled and flavorfully seasoned. The accompanying baba ghanouj was exceptional and the warm, freshly baked Jordanian style pita bread sealed the deal! The cafe is small and nicely decorated giving patrons, along with the arabic music being played, a sense of being in the middle east. Portions are generous and prices very fair. Highly recommend but get there at an off hour because they fill up quickly!“
“We went and were a party if 8. They were very nice and accommodating. Everything was delicious and super fresh. Well seasoned. We had the seafood and it was really delicious. And tea also they have regular and yemeni tea both were great. Highly recommend we had a great experience, thank “
“Once you walk into this place. You feel like you’re in a village in Middle Eastern Europe. Food was very good. We had the Greek salad, Turkish bread, liver, lamb kebab, Mother in Law Chicken, and the Lamb Kotleti. The liver was cooked perfectly and it went so well with the soft Turkish bread. The lamb kotleti was like a big juicy lamb meatball that melts in your mouth. When you cut into the big lamb meatball the juices gushes out onto the plate. This dish is the bomb!!! Will definitely clone back to try out the other dishes.“
“Literally one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in NYC (and I've been to a lot)! We ordered 5 Mezze options (potato, cauliflower , baba ganouj, labne, and hummus) to form a platter and everything was phenomenal. My boyfriend thought he didn't like baba ganoush until he tried it at this restaurant! This will definitely become a regular spot for us!Vegetarian options: All of the Mezze options are vegetarian, and they have many veg entrees and sides as well!“
“Very small place, yet the flavor is very big. You can have the best hummus and falafel in Brooklyn. The home made bread baked daily on site makes the flavor even more intense.Parking: It’s Bay Ridge, so don’t expect to find parking that fast.“
“I had a wonderful experience at Zaaman! If you're looking for great middle eastern food, look no further! There are so many delicious vegetarian options- I recommend the fattoush, falafel, hummus, labneh and baba ghanoush. The place itself was warm and inviting, and I was lucky to hear some live music. I danced all evening. Great food, and great fun. I will definitely be back.“
“I went here for lunch yesterday and had the Hanger Steak on Whole Wheat Pita (it was on the specials menu) and it truly made my day. So flavorful with sautéed onions and a delicious side salad. I HAD to write a review to help spread the news, the food was fresh and unbelievably good and the service was top notch. <3“
“I stumbled upon The Korner while searching for a place to eat in the area, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. The owner's passion for the cuisine was evident as he took the time to guide me through the menu. His enthusiasm made the dining experience truly memorable. The plates were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I even had to order some to go! The attention to customer satisfaction at The Korner ensures that I'll be making return visits. Highly recommended for a flavorful and fulfilling dining experience.“
“I’ve been going to Oasis for about 10 years now. What keeps me coming back? The energy, the team, the food and the prices. A lot of great things in 1 place. So happy for the newest location. I could eat here everyday and be the happiest, food is sooooo good and so affordable. ? ?And nice music videos/music!“
“Recently ate at First Oasis with a friend. The food was absolutely delicious. Hospitality was fantastic. Truly felt like they took pleasure in hosting us. They tend to do more take out and delivery business but Im not sure why. Sitting down to eat there was a delight. Wishing them all the success. Hopefully will be able to return soon.“
“Best breakfast i had a long time ago all the plates were amazing, i highly remcimmended the eggs with tomato o cant remeber the name but we almost finished the plate. My kids really enjoy the toast also the big plate with all cheese and honey and olive was amaaaazing, the turkish coffee is greatThe staff are sooooo welcome and helpfull really they explain everything and recommend the best and it was so fast.Thank you for making this breakfast special“
“Following up on my previous review from 4 years ago, these guys have only gotten better. The falafel and kabobs are so delicious and my go-tos, but I find it hard to not get a Schwarma plate every time I’m there. I never specify sides when I order a plate because everything is delicious.“
“I have been coming here since I was young, probably over 18 years now. Just for the spinach pies and grape leaves. Amazing comfort food. Delicious and worth the trip over to Bayridge. I have tasted many grape leaves from many different places but hers are the ABSOLUTE BEST. (Please note they are cash only) :)“
“Sweet potato falafel sandwich is one of the tastiest things I've ever had. Fresh ingredients and perfect pita. Cute place. Comfortable seating. This was my first time here. I will definitely come back for more. Service was excellent. Food came out quickly.“
“Jerusalem Shawarma & Falafel is a hidden gem! My hubby and I were so taken by the food, we forgot our usual pic-taking ritual! First-timers here, and oh boy, we devoured the chicken shawarma, falafel wrap, zaatar fries, mint tea and hummus—absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor! That chicken shawarma? Top-notch! Trust me, you've got to give this place a shot.“
“Okay Soo I wasn't sure at first..but when I got in and saw the food I thought just a typical food place... But OMG ? the food is really good and it's fresh I had meatballs and chicken with rice and when I bite in it...hmm it like melted Soo good they had fresh salad which was also really good...all in all this place just needs more love but the food man I ate 2 times yesterday... That's how good it was. Who knows I might go back for tha 3rd time...“
“Since it opened in 2023 I have never missed an opportunity to have lunch or dinner here when I am in the Brighton Beach/Coney Island area. They serve solid Central Asian cooking, which, as usual, includes some Russian specialties. I usually get some sort of lamb shashlik and either the potatoes and mushrooms or the herring and boiled potatoes. Moreover, the prices are pretty reasonable.“
“Had a 1st birthday party here and the service was amazing, the staff was so attentive and accommodating. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and made my sons birthday special! Food was delicious and Dj was a plus ! They made sure this was a night to remember, I recommend this place to everyone. I give it a 10/10. Will be returning here for future events.“
“was in the neighborhood and the Lamb over rice was as solid/delicious as I remembered. Cash only. Pricing is now $10. Max is $11. I only asked for a little red sauce and it was spicy! Hours are around 1030am to 5ish am. These guys are friendly but work their butts off“
“Amazing food, very friendly and attentive service and nice atmosphere.Came here on our way back home from NYC because I was craving Lebanese food and we have zero Lebanese spots in our area. The food did not disappoint. Definitely recommend!“
“The best Palestinian food I ever tasted it feels like I’m eating food from Palestine. The food is amazing if you want to try Palestinian food they have great shawarma chicken and meat shawarma and other sides like falafel hummus and baba ghanoughe.“
“Very cute location. Came in with a friend for some lite bites. We tried the trio dip; falafel, labneh and roast cauliflower & a side of pita (which was excellent!). Looking forward to returning and trying more items off their menu. Service was great, super attentive and kind.“
“Have not been here in years but happy to say that chicken sandwich on a pita was incredible. For $10 dollars it was filled and the chicken was so tender. I asked for no lettuce but it all went together so well. Can’t wait to go back l! They are super busy on the platforms I could see.“
“Anyone loves the Mediterranean food, this is the right place. The first thing I noticed is the high cleanliness of the restaurant ?. I ordered Beef & Lamp Shwarma salad bowl and I was stunned with the big amount of meat they put in there ?, the bowl hardly closes! The salad was freash, and the taste waa AMAZING ?!!! They have tables if you want to dine in, and the Menu has veggie choices too, but there were other dishes not included (which was weird). The staff are welcoming & friendly (unusual in those kind of cuisines! ?). I spent like 20$ but I got lunch & dinner in one order ?. Good job guys, just keep it up. This place worth more than 5 stars ⭐️.“
“Loved the food. I actually only ordered takeout, but I have walked past many times in the neighborhood and it is such a charming little place from the outside. This evening I decided to order the branzino. It comes skin-side up on a bed of long grain rice and lentils. The fish was perfectly cooked, almost buttery, with a light flavor of good olive oil, lemon, and something simple and delicious that I can’t even identify (possibly an herb). I thought the portion looked small, but it was actually exactly perfect for a weeknight dinner. I will certainly be dining in next time I have company in town.“
“Freshly made warm pita and flatbread from the oven! Nice dough and crust. Dishes were generous but under seasoned. Generous shwarma pieces on flatbread were overcooked. Rice with almond slivers from ouzi lamb was very fragrant and tasty. Comfortable seating. Light and airy. Attentive service. “
