We all had the tasting menu and there was NOT ONE MISS on any of the dishes. 9 courses, two desserts to share and a little extra amuse of delicious gazpacho to start. “5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“Such delicious food and great service! I ordered the kabob koobideh with a sharbat to drink and it was the perfect meal and pairing! My only complaint would be how noisy the dining areas are- it's a popular place so it's always packed, and the subway tile on the walls bounces the voices and noise. It's also hard to get a table, and reservations are competitive, but it is worth it!“

“We absolutely loved our experience at MyMoon! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was amazing. Both the indoor space and the garden are beautiful and have such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner inside, and later moved to the garden to continue the evening and enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting. The entire place was also very clean and well maintained. Everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our evening. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“Came here on a date night with the wife who is Uruguayan. The provolone was a fantastic starter, reminded me of the one I had during my last visit to Uruguay. In my wife’s 2+ decades in the states I’ve never heard her rant and rave over a chivito the way she did theirs. She said and I quote “this is the best chivito she’s had since being in the USA,” so that should tell you something. I had the Uruguayan Ribeye and I left just the cutting board it came on, nothing was safe. I was hesitant about the Duck fat potatoes because it’s not something I haven’t tried, but they were perfect. The ribeye was to die for, I wanted more. Dessert was just as good too. My wife loved the flan, and I’ll take her word because all flan is bad to me. The Alfajor was so damn good. It was different than the traditional one I’m used to eating, but fantastic nonetheless. We will definitely be returning, and telling everyone we know to travel to Brooklyn to give this place a try.“

Fish was solid but a little too heavy on the batter to fish ratio. Eggplant was simple but good. The silken tofu was really solid texturally - might’ve been the standout dish for our meal.“

“I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. Everything we ordered arrived fresh and full of flavor. The steam rising off the hot skillet was a perfect welcome to the meal, and the lemon slice on top was a nice touch.

The rice and naan were both excellent accompaniments to the main dishes. I especially enjoyed the vibrant green peas in the curry and the beautiful texture of the topped appetizers. It is a fantastic spot to grab a great meal on Grand Street.“
