Brick-walled institution in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn serving up spectacular steak and seafood. Incredible old world ambience and can't say enough of their impeccable service. Overall just an incredible spot to dine in. St. Anselm is most famously known for their signature Angus Butcher's Steak so if it's your first visit, this is the absolute must on the menu.
After dragging my feet returning here after a less than ideal dining experience years ago, my husband demanded a good steak in the neighborhood. We came here last minute on a Sunday and had no trouble securing a table at 6:15 pm in the back heated garden. Service is top notch and the food is protein heavy. We went with the really expensive rib eye (it ain’t cheap but damn is it good), the fried mashed potatoes (omg so decadent), a salad (a girl needs her greens) and a good bottle...read full review
