Dekalb Market Hall Reviews
My whole experience was amazing 🤩
Lots of selection across different cuisines. It's very pleasantly surprising that the stalls don't appear to be adding an egregiously large food hall upcharge. Also very conveniently connected to a mall, Target, and Trader Joe's.
A crowded food hall with some communal seating, and a lot of options for food. It is priced a little high for a food court in Brooklyn, but I guess they can charge those prices because it's so busy. Bathrooms are a little hard to find.

DeKalb Market Hall is a food court area offering a variety of shops and places to eat. Although smaller than others, it provides a great atmosphere and a range of food choices, mostly Asian—Thai, Chinese, and Japanese options. The market also hosts events like the soul summit house dance party. Visitors can enjoy a mix of shopping and dining experiences, with vendors like Trader Joe’s open until 9PM and the Jamaican jerk spot serving chicken patties.
It’s a hidden culinary treasure in Brooklyn, filled with energy and flavors from all over the world. The space is vibrant, with cozy seating corners instead of a typical cafeteria setup. Prices vary but are generally fair for NYC, and the quality makes up for it. Whether craving ramen, tacos, lobster rolls, or dessert, there’s something satisfying here. It’s a foodie’s dream spot and a must-visit in Downtown Brooklyn, though it can get crowded during lunch and weekends. Open later than most places in the area until 10PM, making it convenient for locals and visitors.
