“I was with a friend to grab dinner. We ate from different places, she found a jerk place where she got a Rasta Pasta with oxtail, she said it was a bit spicy but really good. I actually did buy a beef patty with coco bread from there to take home. I ate from Fat Fowl where you only go if you are treating yourself because some of the things are a bit pricey. I got the grilled oxtail sandwich which is fantastic with fries. The sandwich was $25 and adding the fries was $5 which wasn't to crazy. I wanted the fried plantain but I couldn't get myself to pay $12 for a side of them. I also wanted a Shandy which you don't really get outside at eateries like that but it was $6 and I know I could get it at the Bodega near home for $ 3 or less. So we got frozen drinks instead at another stand where I felt better spending more because it was frozen and had alcohol in it. There was enough seating and the bathroom was nearby. Nice evening out. Eating out is really a luxury now in 2026.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at BunNan in New York! We visited during happy hour and ordered the Plantain Jerk, the Snapper Sliders and a lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, beautifully prepared and excellent value.

A special mention to our server, Gabby, who was brilliant. She was friendly, attentive and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Her service really made the experience even better.

“The store is very organized and well kept, and service is amazing. My school is near here so im here almost everyday and all employees are very nice and joke around. The sandwhich are nice and crispy and its very trusted i leave my phone with them sometimes to charge! Love it heree“

“I was here last week for a food event/car show(?). The line and wait to get inside was not all too bad minus the stray rain showers that came down once in a while. Food was amazing but the venue itself was not well ventilated so I had to catch myself going outside after a short while.“
