I enjoyed a leisurely dinner and chat with the owner. Tho it's a small space and only a few high stools, if you're not in a rush it's relaxing to sit and street-watch. The owner takes a lot of care to prepare good food and the menu has fun things that you'd enjoy like when going home for the weekend. Thanks for a pleasant visit!“

“What a hidden gem! Namdo Brooklyn has a lovely, modern interior with a cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe that makes it absolutely perfect for a date night. Unlike a lot of trendy spots, it wasn't overly loud, so we could actually sit back and enjoy a great conversation.
The perilla seed oil noodles were incredibly flavorful- as a Korean tryuly enjoyed it and Yangneum fried chicken was crispy & sauce was tasty reminded me the famous one in Sokcho, Korea that I craved! My husband loved the kimchi fried rice with pork belly-!

The owner was super friendly and generous.
The food was just as amazing as I hoped; I tried all the pies, the Middle Eastern-style dumplings, the falafel, and it was all delicious. A plus, the location is right by the park!

“Kimchi Kooks is a neighborhood gem. Fresh, flavorful, healthy banchan. There is a rotating set of options and a solid line up of mainstays. Also a reliable spot to grab a takeout lunch. I’ve gone many times and always had good experiences.“

The beef broth was amazing, rich and creamy but very smooth. It was one of the best broth I had. The rice and the beef were mediocre.“

“This was my second time eating here and the first time was the day before lol! Their chicken is so juicy and delicious wow favor is great, very simple clean and nourishing ingredients. The first day I got the bulgogi bowl and I added the fried chicken as a protein add on. Bowl was amazing the only thing is they put chickpeas instead of the olives but I wasn’t mad about it. The fried chicken add on is the reason why I returned the next day! I got the honey ginger and soy ginger half & half. I need a 16oz container of the honey ginger I could put it on anything it’s so good. Kimchi is very delicious. Miso soup has fried tofu sooo good. They gave me two containers of coleslaw for free! Wonderful customer service. I’ll be a regular here. 10/10!“

The pork belly kimchi quesadilla was amazing and had so much flavor. The padak chicken sandwich was perfectly fried and loved the pickled vegetables. The gochugaru fries were crispy and so good. I’d buy the seasoning.

The atmosphere was cozy and the food came out quickly. Our server was so nice and attentive.

“I enjoyed myself at this Korean BBQ spot, I went to have dinner and you pick your cut of meat based on your price preference and sides. They cook it korean style so you don't have too. They are a lot of options of dried seaweed, chick peas, kimichi, mashed pumpkin, water cress, pickled cucumber amongst other things to eat. My total bill was $78 including one cocktail.“

“I always look forward to eating here. My favorite is the Spicy Pork Ssam Box, but everything else on the menu is also delicious. The woman who runs the shop, Sai, is so kind and so accommodating. I come in with a hungry stomach and leave with a belly full and a smile on my face. Sai is the one that makes the experience! I love this place, the food, and her energy! Everyone should take the chance to visit her and try her food. It’s amazing.“

“I had a chance to taste their ube latte and corn latte. It was too milky that the ube and corn were overpowered. The food menu looks great, but I was not able to try them.

Overall, the ambiance was good. Decors were cute, although the tables were a bit too close to each other.

Order some mixed wings, mopo corn dog, sweet potato waffle fries, Japchae noodle and onion rings. The place was not big but have about 5 tables. The foods was ok. Guess it would be better eat at the restaurant. I would defintely come back and try other foods“

“Great lil market with all sorts of farm fresh veggies and meats from up state farms as well! They also have coffees and pastries. The market is part of the Dokebi family so they have the famous lil Dokebi burritos and tacos made fresh to order. This place is suberb having everything from steaks from grass fed local cows, to farm fresh produce to hot steamy dishes!“

“Probably one of my favorite chain restaurants. Food is always enjoyable but ordering with the iPad is extremely frustrating when in large groups (4 people is tolerable, 5 annoying and 6 is frustrating) as we would have to order 2 rounds ahead at least to make sure we don't wait too long for our food to come in. This is thanks to the pin required to place each order and even if you order 2 of the same item, they will only bring you a single except when it comes to the steak which the do respect.

When going to any kpot restaurant, always make sure to wear slip resistant shoes as the floor is almost always covered in grease.

You'll definitely rack up a bill with drinks as they are a bit pricey so keep that in mind, though honestly that's with any restaurant that offers drinks.“

“TLDR: Great Korean fried chicken shop in Greenpoint. Spicy crispy wings and definitely try a Korean corn dog.

I was curious to try a few spots in Greenpoint and this was one of them. The chicken is fried fresh so you do need to wait a bit but who doesn't want their chicken made to order?

I'm not a corn dog person at all but I did try the half/half with the potato coating. It was still hot from the fry and the cheese pull on the mozzarella half was very impressive. The beef hot dog half was also good as well. It's finished with powder sugar (as it's mean to be) and it all works pretty well together. Grabbed one for the wife and she was very happy with it.

I ordered the crispy spicy wings and these were very enjoyable. There are not many Korean chicken shops that do this style. I prefer mine sauceless and the battery has a nice kick to it. The skin is crunchy and the chicken is juicy and VERY HOT.

Brought some wings back home and air-fried them the next day, still very delicious. Definitely would check out again if I'm in the area.“
