“If you want Korean fried chicken that’s not a chain and actually has laid back vibes please come here. Chicken is always ridiculously fresh and overall it’s a great spot for friends
Parking: It’s shared between the other venues in the area. Most of the time it’s full but might be just enough for one car to find parking. Never had to wait long for a spot“

“My family and I ordered the black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodle soup, and sweet sour pork. The noodles were very chewy, but the black bean sauce was a little salty. The sweet and sour pork was crispy but there wasn't too much meat inside. The waitresses also kept confusing the orders as they were serving. Overall, the price was a little expensive but the experience wasn't too bad.“

“Hidden gem in FLS for Korean fried chicken 🤯
Went with a friend and ordered two combos—great value and basically covers everything you’d want 😋
🍗 Wings + drumsticks were super juicy with a thin, crispy coating. Tons of sauce options—Soy Garlic is a must, and Yummy Red has a real kick (even the medium is spicy 🥵 but so addictive).
🍗 Boneless combo was also solid—got it with a bun and turned it into a chicken sandwich 🍔 so satisfying. The tteokbokki was chewy and flavorful, and adding ramen made it even better.
They also have other Korean dishes, plus mocktails and beer. Definitely a great late-night spot 🔥“

“SEOUL TOFU is a solid option if you’re craving some good old-fashioned Korean food. This replaced Witch Topokki but they didn’t change much other than their food menu. You can still see traces of the old restaurant on the table and on their silverware.
Seafood Pancake 10/10 - So crispy! I like pancakes that are crispy all around the edges and contain a lot of seafood.
Grilled Yellow Croaker 8/10 - Good value but a tad too salty.
Kimchi Beef Soon Tofu 9/10“
“Great experience Daniel, Brian, and Jeslyn were all extremely nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The food and drinks were great, but the tangerine drink was so good that we ended up ordering 4 of them. Definitely coming back again!“

“The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server Miso was extremely attentive and made the best food recommendations. We were originally going to eat elsewhere but I’m so glad we ended up here instead. 11/10 from the service alone and would come back again.“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“The spicy cold noodles with warm, cooked bulgogi is perfect refreshment for the summer time! The spiciness isn’t too noticeable, so there’s no real heat, only perfectly cool refreshing broth. The broth came on the side in a separate bowl and the spicy sauce was not mixed into the noodles, had to mix it myself but that’s okay.
The server cut the noodles up for me upon request. I also requested no eggs because I have an egg allergy and they accommodated accordingly!
The banchan / sides are really good as well. The kimchi is fermented well!
I just stopped in because I saw the cold noodle signs and it was a hot day.
I think this place used to be Witch Toppoki?“

“Great Korean BBQ spot in Flushing! The meat selection is great and the quality is very good. I really enjoyed the thin beef brisket with the Korean sweet and sour sauce, the beef small intestine, pork jowl, and garlic cube steak. The steamed egg and side dishes were also delicious. Good price and very satisfying meal. Highly recommend!“

“My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place. They have the best oxtail soup in the area and we always order it with either jokbal and/or seafood pancake. Last time we spoke with the only male server/staff (our favorite and always provides the best service) and learned that it was stewed for (?I think he said) 8+ hrs or something along those lines. They also have the best side dishes, as my boyfriend loves their cabbage kimchi. However, we wouldn’t recommend ordering the galbi as it is relatively tough and tastes like it was cooked in a pan rather than a grill. We tried some of their other soup dishes but weren’t too big a fan of those either. Usually the place is pretty cozy but sometimes they do host large parties, where it can get pretty rowdy. Definitely a hidden gem we visit pretty frequently.“

“My friend and I wanted some warm soup in the cold winter, so we found this gem around the area!
Really quick service and the owner was so considerate and sweet.
We got the army stew, seafood pancake and steamed dumplings (also can order as fried). Everything hit the spot and we even had enough as leftover to take home as two people eating!
Definitely a really good lunch/dinner spot and will definitely be coming back!“

“I ordered Mackerel Ssam, and it had a lot of colorful vegetables, so it looked good and tasted good. I tried it once and it was so delicious that I keep thinking about it!
Spicy ecological hot pot popular in winter
The more you eat it, the more refreshing the spicy taste becomes.
Stir-fried wood ear mushrooms, seasoned spinach, pickled red peppers, seasoned bean sprouts, kimchi, seasoned perilla eggplant, stir-fried anchovies and beans.
It's light, nutritious, and full of fresh vegetables, so you can eat a full bowl of rice just by eating it as a side dish.
Fresh pork, chewy meat, savory flavor
Feeling full after eating“

“This is very personal review.
Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.“

“This is a typical Korean BBQ restaurant and liked by many. Food is delicious. A bit expensive but not so much more than other K BBQ. Service is great. Need to choose the right time. Come early or may have to sit outdoor and wait online.“

“I like that this place is hidden among the neighborhood but what really stood out to me was how caring the owner was to each of his customers. You can tell he gets along with the regulars here and profit was not his only main concern. Service like this is what elevates an establishment and gets customers to come back.“

“a hidden gem that only really locals knows about, Daori BBQ place has the most insane lunch special spread, especially for this price (i paid ~$13). every time i’ve been, they’re especially busy around 12pm-1pm. they’re known for their bbq duck.
the deulkkae jang kalguksu (which is dinner sized) was so insanely hearty and filling. i barely made a dent in my barley rice, but i always enjoy eating that with my banchan. i had enough leftovers to have as dinner for tonight and lunch for tomorrow! i can’t recommend this place enough honestly.“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.
I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.
What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.
For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

“Superfood is the number one choice for food in my neighborhood. Everything from the ordering process to picking up the food is usually seamless. The food is fresh and tastes very good consistently every time. To top it off, the people working there are probably some of the friendliest people I have ever met.
I would highly recommend this place if you are around, as they are quick easy and tasty.“

“I Am Kimchi is a quaint little place that serves insanely delicious food in huge portions at great prices.
All the food came in portions bigger than I expected, and the taste was absolutely phenomenal.
Though the place is a bit small (a few tables for 4 people and a few for 2), it only adds to the vibe of the place. It really feels like eating a comforting meal inside someone’s house.
The service is great, the servers are friendly and food comes out quick as well.
Everything on the menu I ate was delicious and the price was super worth it, and it overall felt like a nice, warm meal that I will definitely be coming back to.
10/10 would recommend.“

“Large selection of noodle soups, wide noodles are cooked well and good portion size. You must get their Korean pancakes here, best around. Super crispy, fluffy and kind of slightly deep dish style which I haven't seen from any other Korean restaurant. They don't provide a selection of ban chan( sides) just a little kimchi and pickled radish.“

“Went to Fly Chick to the Moon last night with three other people, and it turned out to be a great experience from start to finish.
We started with the guacamole, which was clearly made fresh to order. It came out in a cast iron dish and had a nice chunky texture with avocado, tomato, and onion. You could taste how fresh everything was—simple, clean, and really well done.
For appetizers, we ordered the boneless chicken, parmesan fries, and fried pork dumplings. Everything came out hot and crispy. The boneless chicken had a good crunch on the outside while staying juicy inside, and the parmesan fries were loaded with flavor—salty, cheesy, and hard to stop eating. The fried pork dumplings were another solid choice, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful filling.
For the main course, we went with the taco party platter (16 pieces) for $62.40, which breaks down to about $3.90 per taco—honestly a great deal for the quality and variety. The platter included four different types, with four tacos of each:
Taco al pastor (adobado pork with grilled pineapple)
Birria tacos
Beef kimchi tacos
Tacos de asada
Each one had its own distinct flavor. The al pastor had that perfect sweet and savory balance from the pineapple, the birria tacos were rich and satisfying, the beef kimchi tacos brought a nice fusion twist with a bit of tang, and the asada tacos were classic and well-seasoned.
Fly Chick to the Moon recently expanded their kitchen with Chef Noe Emiliano, bringing in more authentic Mexican options. We’ve always enjoyed their fried chicken wings, but now having Korean-Mexican tacos on the menu really adds another layer to the place.
If you’re planning to go, there are some great deals during the week. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday with a buy-one-get-one-free taco offer, and Wednesday is $1 wings (minimum order of 10). Both are seriously good value.
Safe to say, I’ll be back—probably every Tuesday and Wednesday.“

“This restaurant serves delicious dishes like sundae soup, stir-fried gopchang, and kimchi stew, but what really stood out to me were the neatly prepared side dishes and perfectly cooked rice.
On top of that, the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming.

“Ive only been here once, but I loved it so much! It seems more like family or group restaurant than one for just dining alone, but I greatly enjoyed the kimchi tasting they had. “They are known for their duck which is really good. I tried both the regular and thinly sliced and would recommend the regular for the more “meaty” flavor as the thinly sliced was crispy and reminded me of brisket. Great service with very nice side dishes as well. Would come back!“

“Our family has been to Chilsung few times. For father’s day, we ordered the Prime Rib Eye Steak (Kot Deung Shim), Pork Belly (Samgyeopsal). The server cooks the meat for you. We also ordered stew Kimchi Jjigae, and the kids’ favorite, topokki (mild spicy).. They also have a wide variety of side dishes which are filling on their own, and they provide complimentary steamed egg and soup.
Service can be a little slow during busy days but we are lucky to have an accommodating server.
It's on the slightly pricier side, but the quality of meat and food , plus the thoughtful extras like probiotic drinks for the kids and ginseng drinks for the adults make it a good dinner experience“
