About Daesung korean Noodle

Daesung Korean Noodle offers a delightful dining experience with a modern and stylish setting that attracts attention from the outside. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The menu features a range of dishes, including the seafood pancake, which is praised for its crispy exterior and packed with seafood. The signature wide noodle and tofu noodle soup are also highly recommended. Customers have noted that the portions are huge, and the kimchi is made in-house and delicious. They give a generous portion of kimchi and do not skimp on refills. Although the wait can be long on weekends, the ambiance is clean and spacious, making it a comfortable place to sit. The seafood pancake is a standout, and the spicy honey soy sauce is a perfect complement. Other popular dishes include the seafood long noodle soup, which is satisfying and perfect for colder days, and the cold noodle soup, refreshing with a thick sesame broth. The tofu stew is standard but good, served with rice and plenty of ingredients. Additionally, the bibim guksu is noted for being perfectly cooked and sweet and spicy. Overall, Daesung Korean Noodle provides a well-rounded experience with good food, service, and ambiance, making it a great destination to visit.

Kalguksu specialty restaurant. Kongguksu and bibim guksu are summer specials.

Checked out this Korean spot over the weekend. The service was great, though the menu is pretty limited.
I tried the beef bulgogi soft tofu stew, but the veggies inside were bitter, which made the whole thing taste bitter. I let our server know, and they kindly took it off the bill.
On the bright side, the seafood pancake was amazing and had so much seafood in it! I really appreciated how they handled everything, so I’d still recommend giving them a try.

This place never fails - in winter their Kalgukseu with home made noodles is so good - and their Konguksu in the summer is perfect. Also don’t sleep on taking home their fresh kimchi - it’s the best in the city!
