About Parksanbal

Parksanbal is a unique Korean restaurant known for its wholesome Korean beef with cabbage soup, offering a choice of spicy or non-spicy. The restaurant features a one-dish menu, serving only this signature dish, the beef meat and bone noodle broth, alongside several delicious side dishes that are free to order refills. Despite having non-Asian staff, Parksanbal provides a distinct soup rice style from North Korea, creating a memorable dining experience.

The small open kitchen allows diners to observe the staff in action, adding to the restaurant's charm. While some reviews mention a slightly sour taste in the soup and a need for more salt, the overall consensus is that the dish is delicious and hearty, with a generous amount of beef and various side dishes, including egg rolls, dried seaweed, radish, jalapeños, and soybean paste.

Parksanbal's quick and friendly service, along with the bustling atmosphere, contribute to a satisfying dining experience. Although some visitors feel the $20 price tag may not reflect the level of authenticity, the restaurant continues to attract a loyal following, often with a decent wait time, and is highly recommended for those seeking solid comfort food.

A great hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant. They only serve one dish (or rather, bowl). And it's beef and cabbage soup with rice. Also known as Sogogi-gukbap (소고기 국밥).
Only 2 questions are asked:
1) how many people?
2) spicy or not spicy?

And those are the only questions that need to be asked. The servers are nice and attentive.
There's a reason why this place has been here for as long as it has.
