Beef soup is all they serve. Soup is flavorful and delish. Comes with side dishes spicy turnip, fried eggs, white rice, and a small package of seaweed. I always get takeout. The ladies up front have always been pleasant to deal with. Please note they get very busy and wait times can sometimes be long. I try to call my order in ahead of time before I pick up.

Any restaurant with 1 item on the menu is promising. This place delivers in all ways. Great service, always refilling banchan and the stew is delicious and tastes nutritious without being heavy. Can get crowded with a wait at popular times but it’s worth it.

Cozy spot that has only two menu items. Personally prefer the not spicy because the spicy covers the flavor of the bone broth soup. Spicy is also not spicy. On the pricier end for 18.99 a bowl. Cash only - soothing and solid meal but not out of the

They force you to pay in cash, and if you say you don't have cash, they will say that there is a "Non-cash Adjustment fee." I don't understand what this means. Don't we pay taxes? The amount charged on the card is also over $20. Why is there this fee?

Spicy or regular. Pick one and the rest is history. Honestly, I really enjoy the place. I will keep going back. The soup they serve is wow!! ? The spicy isn’t really that spicy too. The appetizers or bonchon are refillable so I got like 3-4 egg orders ? super yummy, highly recommend! Just avoid peak hours, line may be like an hour or so. Parking in the area is paid but isn’t that expensive. There’s nearby residential free parking but very limited.

Parksanbal is easy to miss as it occupies a sliver of a space nestled between a Korean bar and a popular banchan store. Its humble interior is as unassuming as its modest exterior, but the seating organization makes for ample and practical dining space. As is typical of hole-in-the-wall gems, the focus is more on the food and serving a satisfying meal than on aesthetics. There is only one dish, served regular or spicy, and its quality is inversely proportional to the decor of the dining area. Ordered the spicy version, which came with delicious, home-made complimentary cubed kimchi radish, sliced jalapenos, dried seaweed, and fried egg. The spicy beef soup, boiling in its bowl, was flavorful. The meat easily fell off the bone, and the generous portions of glass noodles and vegetables were so filling that I had to take most of it to go.While the food was great, the price of $21 doesn't seem justified. The prices from comparable, or better, restaurants serving similar fare are noticeably lower. Also, self-serve water is only available from a cooler by the entrance that I failed to spot until leaving. Still, solid comfort food from an unpretentious place.

One of the top Korean comfort food restaurant in flushing but unfortunately little over priced recently.Used to look forward to visiting the spot on a regular bases but the experience has since changed. This was my go to place when I needed to fill the empty void in my soul after a long hard day or to recharge at the end of the week.It was a no frills restaurant that earned its respect from the locals for their one item menu and one item alone, no fancy interior, nor any special service. You sit, order your soup spicy or not spicy, they bring it to your table, you eat and pay.The staff here are nice but from my past experience, there is no check-in by them after the food is brought to you.The soup is hearty and full of flavor. It was no doubt a great value, or at least till the recent price hikes. I think there’s been at least 3 price hikes in the past two years. For my past few visits, there seems to be less of a crowd than before. In my personal opinion, comfort food loses its appeal when it becomes less accessible. And with the recent changes, it has affected my experience.I would still recommend this restaurant but as long as you are comfortable paying about $20 for a single serving of soup without any sort of special dinning experience.FYI. I did not see a restroom for its customers.

If you are looking for a Korean family-vibe restaurant that is small, no fancy services but friendly, yes this is the place. They only have one dish, beef soup, original or spicy.I have to say the beef soup is not the best one, but still delicious in a big portion. But the best part, my VIP, ✨?their side dish fried egg! Including 3 other sides, all refillable.Really worth to dine-in. I went on a Tuesday, lunch time, waited 10 mins. Could be longer. I got in fast cause I was alone?

Their price increased to $20. I thought tip and everything was included in that but they asked for a tip which confused me. $24 for a gookbap? It tastes good but not worth it imo.

Perfect soup for hangovers and for the cold weather here in NYC. The soup is hearty and cures the soul. They give high unlimited sides and rice! Great hole on the wallSpot if you are looking for some good soup.

Bookmarked Parksanbal because of a Righteous Eats feature. I'm so glad I was able to come by. It was such a nice comforting meal. They only serve one thing, beef bone soup, and it's only offered as spicy or nonspicy. I got a spicy one after asking how spicy it was. Turns out it's very mild. The spice provides an extra depth of flavor. The beef was super tender and fell off the bone. The noodles had a good chewiness. It was filling without being too rich. The soup was good, perfect for a rainy day. There's self-serve water and tea at the front. The banchan is unlimited. There are seaweed, radish kimchi, egg omelette, and green peppers with samjang. The banchan combined with rice, tastes so good. The radish could be fermented longer, as it tastes like it was just made. Ended up as a $20 flat meal. It's great value considering you can get full on banchan and rice alone.
