“Nudibranch was outstanding—easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We started with the mushrooms, chicken sandwich, and cavatelli, then had the Denver steak and monkfish as our mains, with scallion pancakes on the side for three people. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and exceptionally well executed.

The chefs are Momofuku alumni, and you can feel that influence in the bold flavors and inventive combinations. Man, I miss Momofuku—but Nudibranch definitely scratched that itch while still feeling entirely like its own thing.

“We had such a lovely experience at Ariari! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Stephen / Steven was fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely lovely throughout the evening.

The food was excellent. The crab is an absolute must, and the duck was another standout. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The cod was beautifully prepared, although I felt it lacked a bit of flavor and didn’t particularly stand out from cod I’ve enjoyed at other fine restaurants.

One detail I especially appreciated was how thoughtful the restaurant was toward children. Having proper plates and cutlery ready for little ones is such a simple yet meaningful touch, and something you don’t often see at NYC restaurants.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience with wonderful service, delicious food, and thoughtful attention to detail. I’d give Ariari a solid 4.7/5. We will absolutely be back!

“A Vegetarian Gem in Koreatown!

Seoul Food Shop in Koreatown, New York, is a wonderful find—especially for a pure vegetarian like me. It's not often that I find a place with good vegetarian options, but this spot truly delivered.

I ordered the vegetable dumplings with garlic tofu, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. For just $15, the taste was amazing—honestly some of the best food I've had in this area.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It's a great spot to grab a bite while exploring Koreatown, and the location makes it easy to fit into a day of sightseeing in the city.

As a vegetarian, finding a place that offers such tasty options at a reasonable price is a real treat. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone—vegetarian or not.

“Phenomenal. Its more of a gastro pub, definitely not traditional Korean. Plates are tiny and portions are tapa-sized, but we ordered eight items to share and were full in the end. Corn dumplings were outstanding: the corn was completely mashed and they tasted like soft fluffy pillows with an incredible sauce made of cilantro, basil and mint. Scallops, galbi meatball skewer and waguy spring rolls were amazing. Noodles was the only dish in our order that was underwhelming. Loved their adult capri drinks in a bag. :) but the best last of the experience was the service. We asked for a table outside, which they didn't have, so we were seated by an open window instead, but within 5 minutes, they came and said they had a table outside for us. Everyone was so friendly, warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try all the other menu options we didn't get to try.“

“The dishes are tapas style, small and flavorful. I liked the Berkshire kimchi fried rice the most with its popping sensation. The birrira mandus were also memorable. You might not be full after this but if you go not too hungry it’s a perfect amount.

They have $2 off drinks for happy hour until 7pm, which doesn’t make too much of a difference at $21, but it’s a nice edge.“

“Another delicious Korean fusion food restaurant! The Asian influence on American fare such as Caesar salad, tater tots and cheese burger are genius. Inside seating seemed to get loud with the 90s hip hop BGM but it was nice and quieter sitting outside as long as the weather is nice. The service is great and super friendly. The food is top notch delicious. They have a small but nice beer selection. The hazy IPA is yummy. It's a relatively small place but don't miss it and walk on by. It's definitely worth a stop for a bite and a drink!“

The noodles are long and impossible to cut, chewy, and the broth is cold and refreshing. Just what I needed“

“One of the best Kbbq if not the best kbbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The eel was so fresh, the short rib was marinated to perfection. But the best thing on the table was the kimchi. The kimchi was crunchy, it was seasoned perfectly, and it was fermented just enough to pair perfectly with the proteins. The hospitality was amazing! The lady treated our party like her relatives and showed us what’s real hospitality is. My friends and I love how kind she was to us and we could not ask for a better meal. We will definitely come back more often!!“

“Lovely, focused menu centered entirely on stewed beef in different formats. The soups are great but this is a place best visited with ravenous friends: you'll need extra mouths to feed to surmount the towering galbi-jjim, the best thing here and the best I've had. Staff do a great job too.“

“Mr. Dak is definitely a spot worth visiting if you're craving delicious Korean food. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The avocado chicken cucumber salad was light, refreshing, and a perfect starter. The wings were crispy, juicy, and came with amazing flavor options. The chicken with rice was incredibly satisfying with generous portions, and the ramen was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor.
The drinks complemented the meal perfectly, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

“SEOUL TOFU is a solid option if you’re craving some good old-fashioned Korean food. This replaced Witch Topokki but they didn’t change much other than their food menu. You can still see traces of the old restaurant on the table and on their silverware.

Seafood Pancake 10/10 - So crispy! I like pancakes that are crispy all around the edges and contain a lot of seafood.
Grilled Yellow Croaker 8/10 - Good value but a tad too salty.
Kimchi Beef Soon Tofu 9/10“

“I’m used to all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, so Wooga was my first real experience with one of the more upscale Korean BBQ spots in Fort Lee—and I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed.

Usually when we go for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, we end up overeating and going crazy with the meat because you naturally feel like you have to get your money’s worth. Wooga was a completely different experience. Instead of focusing on how much we could eat, we were able to actually enjoy the quality of the meat, the sides, and the meal as a whole.

The service was great, the seating was comfortable, and I really liked the style of grill they use here. We ordered a few different cuts of meat, and I quickly realized you really don’t need to go crazy with the amount you order. The sides come in generous portions, and once you add everything together, you end up with a ton of food.

The quality of the meat was excellent, and pretty much everything else we ordered was spot on. The noodles, fried rice, steamed eggs, and all the different sides were great. The meat did get a little overcooked toward the end, but some people in our party preferred it closer to well done, so I can’t really put that on the restaurant.

After eating here, I definitely understand the appeal of a higher-end Korean BBQ experience compared to all-you-can-eat. You might not have unlimited meat coming to the table, but between the quality of the dry aged beef, generous sides, and overall experience, you really don’t miss it. We ended up with plenty of food, everything tasted great, and I’d definitely come back.“

“We had a great dinner at Yori and Sool! The Tomahawk Galbi was tender and flavorful, and the Dakgalbi with Corn Cheese was definitely my favorite. The menu is heavily seafood-focused, which I loved. The final savory course, a beef galbi, was easily one of the most tender, flavorful cuts I’ve ever had.

The service was spot-on and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Plus, the location is a total trip: it’s tucked inside a subway station, and you actually get a code to unlock the door to get in. Such a cool concept.

All were really great - the Ube crème brûlée was probably the most surpising and interesting. Portions were still pretty big despite these being small plates though!
