in one word: satisfactory.
it didn’t meet the hype that i had heard online, HOWEVER it was a great spot.
for food, we had the cucumber kimchi, which was pretty great. much better than the cucumber salad at din tai fung, but smaller, and had a similar spice level, very low. definitely a highlight and a great way to start.

Nowon was such a fun dining experience. I got the Classic Mixtape, which I think is one of the best things to order if it’s your first time because you get to try a little bit of everything. The food was really flavorful and creative without feeling like they were trying too hard.
