Connection at its finest. If you want a warm, human connection, seriously go to Club Cumming. I was fortunate enough to come on Mondays with Lance. Think top vocalists performing solos of their choice with a live and talented accompanist. It was Broadway heavy, which I love, but there was plenty of pop, too. If you wanna have a good time, dance a little or sing out loud to some good music then definitely come to Club Cumming. Every night is a different vibe. I love love the bartenders here (shout out to Andy and John (I think!?)). Your mood in places like this is dictated by the patrons and the bartenders and everyone is so nice and inviting. This place is an excellent homage to the old new york bars: great variety shows, from live piano to burlesque, and reasonably priced drinks. My only reason not to give it five stars is that Club Cummins features the slowest bartender I have ever experienced; this kid can only make and charge one drink at a time, making the experience of buying a simple beer a test of patience.
