“We had such a lovely experience at Ariari! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. Stephen / Steven was fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely lovely throughout the evening.

The food was excellent. The crab is an absolute must, and the duck was another standout. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The cod was beautifully prepared, although I felt it lacked a bit of flavor and didn’t particularly stand out from cod I’ve enjoyed at other fine restaurants.

One detail I especially appreciated was how thoughtful the restaurant was toward children. Having proper plates and cutlery ready for little ones is such a simple yet meaningful touch, and something you don’t often see at NYC restaurants.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience with wonderful service, delicious food, and thoughtful attention to detail. I’d give Ariari a solid 4.7/5. We will absolutely be back!

“Another delicious Korean fusion food restaurant! The Asian influence on American fare such as Caesar salad, tater tots and cheese burger are genius. Inside seating seemed to get loud with the 90s hip hop BGM but it was nice and quieter sitting outside as long as the weather is nice. The service is great and super friendly. The food is top notch delicious. They have a small but nice beer selection. The hazy IPA is yummy. It's a relatively small place but don't miss it and walk on by. It's definitely worth a stop for a bite and a drink!“

We got a few drinks all were great some on the happy hour some not. We also got some food items the corn cheese pancake a fav and the blood sausage rice cake which was also delicious. Beautiful bar and the staff was also super friendly and I have to say, everyone working here is so attractive. “Tasty and filling, but with a few caveats. There were three of us, and we ordered four dishes family-style. The portions were generous, and we left very full with leftovers.

Everything was good, although nothing was especially memorable for me. I’d rank the bulgogi (japchae) first, followed by the Snowing Cheese Potato Pancake, Grilled Spicy Chicken, and sashimi. The seaweed rolls with the sashimi were tasty, but the fish itself was just okay.

The potato pancake had a surprisingly stretchy, almost mochi-like texture. It was a little jarring at first because it wasn’t what I expected, but it was interesting, and I can see why some people love it. It’s also a bit bland without a sauce. I might order it again for the texture, although I still have mixed feelings about it.

The Grilled Spicy Chicken was barely spicy despite being specifically labeled that way. Even our spice-sensitive friends agreed, so offering different spice levels might help.

A few smaller issues also added up: the music was extremely loud, and the first-floor elevator area had a very strong smell with wet, sticky floors. Near the stairwell, there also appeared to be a trash can with a large reddish puddle underneath it.

Overall, the food was good and generously portioned, but I’m not sure I’d return.

“Bartley's is a gem in midtown Manhattan. The prices are slightly lower than you'll find nearby, the menu offers a nice variety, and everything I ate was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the music was very loud. Maybe I'm just old, but it was hard to hear my friend across our very small table. However, I will be back! Just maybe not with my grandma.“
