“Amazing and inventive Korean food in the East Village. Must-have starter is the scallop DIY gimbap where you create your own bites with seaweed. Great combination of sauces gives it an incredible umami mouthfeel.

For entrees, dolsot al-bop has the uni flavor in the form of bibimbop, served in a sizzling bowl. And the fried soft-shell crab is to die for.

Only complaint is feeling rushed by servers to clear plates and present the bill before being asked.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite w a girlfriend Thursday. Being a bartender who works a lot I like to really be able to enjoy my time out. This did not disappoint. I had the squash and a burger. Both were 10/10. I had a server named Hunter who was spot on selling the burger. Very attentive without hovering. I don’t drink but he brought me a Phony Negroni and y’all, that slaps.“

“Came to nowon because I hear great reviews about the burger. Was immediately greeted at the door by the manager gene he was warm and inviting and immediately sat us. We were then greeted by the server who was knowledgeable and extremely patient with all our questions. We settled on the tasting and it did not disappoint. Our table was touched numerous times and the experience was overall great. The server was amazing and gene went and above and beyond to accolade our allergies. They made us a special mock tail and there version of the espresso martini did not disappoint . I will be back for sure!

“For my first time coming to The Malt House was a pleasant experience. I came during brunch hours. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak medium well and eggs sunny side up. I also got the bottomless mimosa upgrade which is 90 mins of unlimited mimosas from 10am-4pm Saturdays and Sundays. The waitress was hospitable and friendly. The service here is a 10/10. I would highly recommend The Malt House to anyone who prefers or likes American styles cuisine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I visited this bar for the 1st time. I tried the soy garlic fried chicken and scallion pancake. I also tried their lechee Sojo. I hope I spelled that correctly. The drink was delicious. The apple sojo was delicious as well. I didn't wake up with a hangover, and I drank a lot. I tried the karaoke, and that was so much fun. I would come back.“

“I was having an event, at a location that was across the street from Goldie’s. Due to a communication error, we needed to change venues- literally 30 minutes before the start time. In stepped Goldie’s. The staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating, or more helpful.

What could have been a disaster was a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the celebratory lemon drops were much appreciated.

I’m grateful to Goldie’s for the hospitality and highly recommend.“

“This victorian inspired restaurant was very pleasant to the eyes. It really looks like you’re stepping back in time. I hear they offer an afternoon tea. I would like to come back and try that someday but we were here for dinner and it was wonderful. We had the lobster ravioli, and the steak and frites. Everyone we came in contact with was attentive and pleasant. They also have a full bar so I imagine they have a great cocktail hour or so.“
