I thought the Spicy Monkfish was very flavorful and good and the dolsot albap was surprisingly very tasty. Im usually not the biggest fan of albap but this was not too fishy and the crispy rice on the bowl was very pleasant and went well with the dish.
Duck bulgogi probably least special and ok to skip but not bad.“

“Arrived early for a two-person reservation on a hot summer New York night, fresh off the excitement of the Knicks parade - we didn’t catch it but the energy was palpable.

Even though our table wasn’t ready (we were a full hour early after all), the hostess was kind enough to help us pick out a chenin blanc to enjoy inside before being seated outside.

While the burger was absolutely delicious, the highlight of the evening was our server, Hunter. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive and giving us space, allowing us to enjoy our conversation without interruption. Somehow, he always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment whenever we needed something.

“Had the Mr. Bifana Slider and it was a magical experience. Such flavor in those things. The bread was to die for. Here I was expecting the typical brioche bun on a tiny slider. You can imagine my ecstasy when fresh rolls arrived instead, with deliciously seasoned slices of pork in between. “Honestly can’t wait to come back when I’m in town and try their other items on their menu. I had the buffalo chicken wontons—8/10. Then their Philly cheesesteak—9/10 (bread was sooo perfect. Crispy yet soft?! Wasn’t expecting that. I asked for mayo but it didn’t really need it. Theirs is way better than Mama’s Too (super viral for their Philly cheese)). Fries?!—10/10. Their condiments—blue cheese and ranch that I tried—really good too 8.5/10. But my waitress is what makes me give 5 stars on everything. Please ask for Deena when you come in. She is so sweet, attentive, and anytime I asked for something she came back quickly attending to my needs. When I come back I too will be asking for Deena. vibes and service are immaculate AND the food always hits esp with their drinks. this summer they are releasing the speciality shaved ice with alcohol where you can chose from soju or makgulli as the base 🍺 🥭

we got the lychee and mango and it HITS all the right spots. such a refreshing light dessert when it’s super hot 🥵 outside. the sweetness of the fruits compliment the alcohol so well 🤤 can’t wait to try their other flavors 👏

don’t forget to get their authentic pocha items such as:

She recommended her favorite spritz and highlighted the Saturday deal, and constantly and kindly checked in on us. We had dinner on a Saturday evening at 7:45 and while others were there just for drinks, it never got too loud that I couldn’t hear my boyfriend from across the table.

We had the wings (STELLAR), the tuna crispy rice (the yuzu sauce makes it, don’t skip it!) and the wagyu sliders (ask for HP sauce, it’s very complimentary). Would totally come back for the wings.

So happy we stumbled in, what a great impromptu dinner date.“

“Tasty and filling, but with a few caveats. There were three of us, and we ordered four dishes family-style. The portions were generous, and we left very full with leftovers.

Everything was good, although nothing was especially memorable for me. I’d rank the bulgogi (japchae) first, followed by the Snowing Cheese Potato Pancake, Grilled Spicy Chicken, and sashimi. The seaweed rolls with the sashimi were tasty, but the fish itself was just okay.

The potato pancake had a surprisingly stretchy, almost mochi-like texture. It was a little jarring at first because it wasn’t what I expected, but it was interesting, and I can see why some people love it. It’s also a bit bland without a sauce. I might order it again for the texture, although I still have mixed feelings about it.

The Grilled Spicy Chicken was barely spicy despite being specifically labeled that way. Even our spice-sensitive friends agreed, so offering different spice levels might help.

A few smaller issues also added up: the music was extremely loud, and the first-floor elevator area had a very strong smell with wet, sticky floors. Near the stairwell, there also appeared to be a trash can with a large reddish puddle underneath it.

Overall, the food was good and generously portioned, but I’m not sure I’d return.

Location and atmosphere are both working in Momad's favor — the kind of place that just feels right for a weeknight drink. And the Asahi on draft is the real deal. Fresh, cold, well-poured. Honestly one of the better draft pours I've had at an izakaya in the city.
Yakitori is solid. Won't blow your mind but it's done right and hits the spot alongside a beer. The rest of the menu is more middle of the road — nothing bad, just nothing that stands out either.
Staff is genuinely friendly and that goes a long way. Makes the whole experience feel relaxed and easy.
This isn't a destination dinner spot but it's not trying to be. For a casual drink and some skewers with good service and good vibes, Momad delivers. Would come back without hesitation.“

“Great lunch at JRB after the flight from Texas. Their special burger for FIFA was amazing... My son's 2nd favorite burger ever. The salad was fresh and crispy. The calamari was tender and flavorful and the star is that dish was the pickled veggies they put with the calamari.

“Just threw a great party at VERSA of about 25 people over the weekend. The venue itself is absolutely fantastic for bigger gatherings and price-wise is one of, if not the most affordable rooftop venue in midtown. I didn’t get to try any of the food, but can confirm the drinks are great! Not only would I recommend anyone looking to throw an event to check out VERSA, but I may even look to throw another event at VERSA in the future!“
