“great local spot love it here“

“looked up soup and the bronx and this is where google took me. I should stop listening to google but I can’t help it. this little voice in my head saying “be an individual, be an individual,” yet i turn my head and say no imma look it up on google this pocked sized friend inside of my phone. how convenient. I didn’t end up eating the soup bc I burnt my tongue but it smelled like asparagus and hazel nut squash (which is what i asked for) so considering that 5/5!!!“

“We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“We had a great lunch, burger was wonderful and the pork sandwich was great. we weren't sure what was better. Don't miss the tater tots, they were awesome as well, they had some old bay seasoning on them. We will return. Drink menu was good but we had lunch and a few beers.“

“No venue is as old school as Old Town Bar. No TVs and no loud music just great drinks and great food. We visited during the great snowstorm of 2026 and in the middle of all the snow, we got outstanding wings and potato leek soup to go with our drinks. We went for dry wings with buffalo sauce on the side and they were so good we ordered two more portions. We also enjoyed the tenders but the wings were better. The chili was also yummy and we’ll be back with or without the snow.“

I am down for a pat down and appreciate safety, but I arrived at at 8pm and during the very lengthy and thorough pat down the bouncer kept asking if I'd been bar hopping and that if I'm intoxicated I can't go in...which also fair, but I'm in my forties, it was 8pm, and I was entirely sober. Respect taking a job serious, but I felt oddly unwelcome and it set a tone for us that the kind inside staff didn't quite undo. I would be hesitant to bring a guest here again.“

“I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and had a great time. My friends and I went for happy hour (2x1), and the staff was incredibly friendly. They set aside a spot for us and were very kind. The drinks are awesome, and the space and atmosphere are great. I’ve also been here for comedy show nights, which are always a lot of fun. It’s very centrally located—perfect if your friends are spread all over the city.“

“The District, located on the UES of Manhattan on 3rd Avenue, is such a great spot!! :-) I visited for the first time this weekend and I had the best experience!! Dara, Nick & the team at The District are so wonderful - my friends & I were so well taken care of during our visit!! In terms of food cocktails, they make an excellent spicy margarita, and their appetizers are delicious. I highly recommend their Homemade Mozzarella Sticks! Lastly, The District has such a lovely atmosphere - it's so warm + cozy inside. 10/10 - I highly recommend this place!!“

“Excellent Gastropub. Short walk from MSG. Draught Beer was refreshing. Salad was crisp and delicious. Carne Asada tacos had a big portion of meat and short rib mac and cheese was AMAZING. I ordered the Loaded Nachos for $17 and the amount they give you is insulting. I was excited to have a spot to regular for food and drinks but I might be avoiding their food till something is done.“
