“1st time here.... I'm from NYC(Brooklyn) and was visiting after 30 years away....

“Such a great place! Solid menu, excellent craft drinks, friendly staff. We both had beef filet that was cooked to our exact specifications. I had a nice girly drink which was an enhanced Pina Colada. (Required extreme self control to stop at one.) All the desserts sounded great, and I really enjoyed my bread pudding (the very generous serving size was a surprise). You will really be pleased with your dining experience at The Henry!“

“I went to The Lonesome Club with my husband and his family on a Friday night and was so pleasantly surprised by the experience! We sat outside at one of the picnic tables (the place was busy, so definitely recommend a reservation for a weekend time). It was very family friendly, there were lots of families gathered at the picnic tables and kids were enjoying playing on the sidewalk. We enjoyed the neighborhood vibes along with the food and service! We ordered a bunch of food and shared everything (the Irish soda bread and butter were INSANE). Shrimp cocktail, burger, Irish soda bread, fish and chips, bucatini with clams, and the chocolate guinness cake. Everything was delicious and our server was very attentive! We will definitely be back!“

“Always packed and for a reason. I felt like I was in someone's house while seating inside. Is very cozy. The food is very tasty and the owner has curated a great selection of drinks. New favorite spot.

“Great service. Very big place. Great for large gatherings. I went during the day to have a drink. It was pretty empty at that time, which is fine by me. There's a lot of seating area, including couches. I tend to like cozier places. They also have a photo booth. They have a good Happy Hour. Hannah is a great bartender and very nice. I would come back even though, as I mentioned before, I like cozier places“

Love coming here for random sporting events or just meeting up with friends to watch random shit together on tv (the Olympics, Super Bowl, oscars). They will put anything on for you!
But it’s really the food that keeps me coming back. Love that appetizer sampler and the burgers plus the wings. Great bar staff too (bless them for always supplying me with ice cold lime soda water with my margs).

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

“This neighborhood staple is right down the street from me. When they first opened, we went frequently but I must admit after Covid I hadn't been. Recently I have decided it's my go to place first because their fish and chips is outstanding and now I'm branching out to other items on the menu. The menu has changed quite a bit since the old days but the food is very satisfying. I don't wanna call it comfort food but for me it really is. My only complaint is that they don't have malt vinegar for the fish and chips.“

“Comfortable place with excellent food and really nice backyard. A large selection of beers/ ciders and spirits. Open areas plus booths and corners great for datenight.
The food was fresh and cooked to order. Plus can easily be linked to your bar tab, so you don't have to have a separatebill or find a atm. Will definitely be going back soon.“

“I wish I took photos of the food but totally forgot. I can say everything was 10/10. The wings were perfectly crispy, french fries weren’t oily, the service was fast. Plus the environment was nice too.
