“Such a great place! Solid menu, excellent craft drinks, friendly staff. We both had beef filet that was cooked to our exact specifications. I had a nice girly drink which was an enhanced Pina Colada. (Required extreme self control to stop at one.) All the desserts sounded great, and I really enjoyed my bread pudding (the very generous serving size was a surprise). You will really be pleased with your dining experience at The Henry!“

“We made a large group reservation here for our post wedding celebration. The space was enough for 25 people and reservation process very streamlined.

On the day of, the weather created some problems and caused reduced seating despite the reservations. It could have been a frustrating experience, but the staff handled the chaos with professionalism and care.

We already loved Lavender Lake for the awesome food and drinks (best breakfast burritos in town btw) but now we respect the space even more after the experience.“

“Very good local spot. Great drinks. The bartender and all around real one Andrew was very helpful as things were busy but we felt taken care of the whole way through. Easy to rock up and sit lots of space. And nice to get affordable tacos and apps. The tuna tostada was a banger too.“

“I luckily stumbled upon this establishment when Athena Keke was at capacity and when I say 10/10. From the friendly staff, aces bartender Elias, I didn’t know what I wanted and he made a spontaneous citrus cocktail that was to die for. Chef Pedro knows what he’s doing in the kitchen! The food was tasty, fresh and so many options on the menu. Drinks are not pricy at all, happy hour available 2x times in 1 day at specific hours. Plenty of sports being played throughout the establishment, projector full screen in the back, the bathroom was cutesy and clean.

If you’re in the area I highly recommend you check them out. You will not be disappointed, thank you Swan for an amazing first time experience, you’ll definitely be seeing me again.“

Love coming here for random sporting events or just meeting up with friends to watch random shit together on tv (the Olympics, Super Bowl, oscars). They will put anything on for you!

But it’s really the food that keeps me coming back. Love that appetizer sampler and the burgers plus the wings. Great bar staff too (bless them for always supplying me with ice cold lime soda water with my margs).

“I brought a large group for a post Prospect park half marathon bite. We walked in with ten people no reservations and the staff was so accommodating and the service was fabulous. Our food and drinks were great. Not to mention a perfect PINT of Guinness and nice hot Irish coffee. Love the vibe and authenticity of the Irishness of the place. A must visit !! Slainte“

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

“This neighborhood staple is right down the street from me. When they first opened, we went frequently but I must admit after Covid I hadn't been. Recently I have decided it's my go to place first because their fish and chips is outstanding and now I'm branching out to other items on the menu. The menu has changed quite a bit since the old days but the food is very satisfying. I don't wanna call it comfort food but for me it really is. My only complaint is that they don't have malt vinegar for the fish and chips.“

My wife and I ordered one beer, one margarita, wings, thai buns. Total = $60 before tip. Way too many high quality places for this price in the area to come back for that. 👎🏻“
