“Went here on a Saturday late night. It was crowded but we managed to get a seat in the back for two. Cozy and warm ambiance. Their cocktail was veryshort but very well priced. Helps with any indécision.I ordered the Gin lizzy which came out pretty strong. Like a sweet Manhattan. Something with the mix of ingredients the vanilla & almond syrup, passionfruit, lemon & bitters gave it an aftertaste that I can't quite pinpoint. However, I did enjoy my husband's drink the Watermelon Drugstore made with Ojo de tigre mezcal, watermelon, honey ginger syrup and lemon. Also enjoyed their version of a spicy margarita composed of espolon, lime, agave, contreau.I'm glad to be adding a new bar to my roster. And the prices here make them very appealing. Will return to try out the food menu.“

“Met up with my partner after a rehearsal she had down here (she’s the best!) anywho - tried to walk into red hook tavern without a res (like a coupla chumps!). They saidIt was gonna be a seven year wait til we could get the shrimp cocktail, so tail-between-our-legs we hobbled down Van Brunt (like adorable animated dogs from a 90’s Disney Movie) and poked our heads into TGFP (we are on an acronym basis at this point ;) - the vibes ? Immaculate. The food? Indescribable (( actually think the burger rivals RHT ?)), but I digress - unpretentious, creative menu, another gem of the neighborhood. “I came here for the weekly Bitches Brew comedy show on a Friday night. It was all the way in the back. It started around 8:30pm, but the seats easily filled up. If you go for that, I'd recommend getting there around 8:15. I don't expect anything when it comes to comedy shows, but I was genuinely impressed. There were about eight comics, and even the worst of the bunch was still decently funny. Overall, the bar is cozy and spacious. I didn't get anything to drink, but it seemed like there was a wide range of affordable options.“

“What a cute bar that has been around for 17 years and just yesterday I stepped foot into it for my first time. It was the 17th Anniversary party yesterday as well. They had a bunch of collabs with other breweries so their taps were filled with wonderful selection of cool beers. I got here when it opened grabbed a seat at the bar. I didn't catch her name but the bartender was super nice and we chatted a bit. This bar has two tvs in the bar area and some tables in the back. It also has an outdoor area which I did not get to check out unfortunately. The only downside is, is that there is no food served here. But the upside is that you can get free Pop-corn! If you have not been here before, I would suggest stopping by. By the way whoever does their social media is super great!“

We all got a shout out, had celebratory shots, and it was so much fun! I absolutely love the good news bell. It’s also fun even if you yourself aren’t celebrating something to have those pleasant reminders of good things happening in others’ lives. They have an ATM to get cash for the pool table only accepts coins quarters. It’s not a big pub but it’s got a great vibe the bartender and the locals and people there are very friendly and staff provides great service. if you want the experience of authentic Brooklyn classic Irish pubs then this bar is a must visit. Very mixed crowd mostly from the neighborhood. They got several regulars, solid drinks. Nothing fancy nothing bougie got about five beers on tap usually. For special occasions sometimes they’ll have food but it’ll be like ordered and delivered like catered or something like that, they don’t have a kitchen inside, so there is an anything to munch on or eat there.
