“The Globe Tavern is a friendly and safe bar located in Queens. All are welcome, and they have a Zero tolerance for Bullying. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and dimly lit, It spacious inside yet cozy. There are board games, darts, a pool table, and a cute small backyard. They have planned activities like karaoke and trivia. There is no food, but feel free to bring your own.Bartenders are nice and genuine and made me feel very comfortable. Also, don't forget to look up and see the ceiling art. Friendly service and fair pricing.I am lookingg forward to visiting here again. I recommend you visit too.“
“We arrived at this spot for lunch. we heard about this spot from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we shall absolutely come back again. Warmly recommended.“
“I've been to Keens before, and I always like it when I'm in Manhattan. The food is good, and the service is great too. I think the steaks could use a bit more seasoning, though. They do mention something about salt on the menu, and I even asked my server to season it well, but it still needed a bit more. But overall, it's a nice place to go.“
“I always walked by and knew the name from living in Chicago. The iconic building always intrigued me and last night, I was lucky to find a table during peak dinner rush.I was guided to their newly rennovated 'Sidecar'. We sat upstairs and loved being able to look over 3rd avenue. The service was so attentive -- from being immediately greeted to the servers always offering to clear plates and offer new ones. I had the Cadillac burger and it came with a generous portion of french fries. The desserts surpassd expectation, i got the brownie sundae but learned the cheesecake and apple crisp are made in-house so I need to come back and try that.Shout out to my server Nicole and Marianna for making PJ Clarke's especially memorable and a new found staple in my dinner rotation in midtown.“
“Went there for the bottomless brunch with some friends. While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“
“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Highly recommend when in the Village.“
“Went here on a Saturday late night. It was crowded but we managed to get a seat in the back for two. Cozy and warm ambiance. Their cocktail was veryshort but very well priced. Helps with any indécision.I ordered the Gin lizzy which came out pretty strong. Like a sweet Manhattan. Something with the mix of ingredients the vanilla & almond syrup, passionfruit, lemon & bitters gave it an aftertaste that I can't quite pinpoint. However, I did enjoy my husband's drink the Watermelon Drugstore made with Ojo de tigre mezcal, watermelon, honey ginger syrup and lemon. Also enjoyed their version of a spicy margarita composed of espolon, lime, agave, contreau.I'm glad to be adding a new bar to my roster. And the prices here make them very appealing. Will return to try out the food menu.“
“Met up with my partner after a rehearsal she had down here (she’s the best!) anywho - tried to walk into red hook tavern without a res (like a coupla chumps!). They saidIt was gonna be a seven year wait til we could get the shrimp cocktail, so tail-between-our-legs we hobbled down Van Brunt (like adorable animated dogs from a 90’s Disney Movie) and poked our heads into TGFP (we are on an acronym basis at this point ;) - the vibes ? Immaculate. The food? Indescribable (( actually think the burger rivals RHT ?)), but I digress - unpretentious, creative menu, another gem of the neighborhood. Come here folks or I’ll come and get you !“
“Wow!!! Busy or not this is the best spot for a craft experience. Friendly & knowledgeable bartenders and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. After being treated awfully at another spot today this was a night and day difference!!“
“One of the best dive bars in NYC. Would recommend stopping if you're in TriBeCa or Chinatown - Whiskey, beer or another libation! Super atmosphere and relaxed vibe. Don't hesitate to grab a table in the mezzanine overlooking the bar. The eats ain't so bad too!“
“Overall rating: 4.9This place is underrated. Love the low key, chill energy in LES. No frills, which is my middle name. The drinks are STRONG, in the best possible way. I didn’t experience any karaoke, but I think I was there too early in the night. Went around 8 on a Saturday.Definitely want to go again if I’m looking for a nightcap or just a chill place in the area.“
“Really great store with a very welcoming atmosphere! We had burgers, pastrami sandwiches and quesadilas and everything tasted really good. The two who run the shop are incredibly welcoming and we would recommend it to anyone who is in the area.“
“I came here the Friday before St. Patrick's day and was not disappointed. They had live music on a small stage with a large crowd singing along to Irish folk tunes. The atmosphere was lively and reminded me a lot of Dublin pubs. The service was a bit slow, as there were too many patrons and too few bartenders. If they could improve that ratio, this place would be a fantastic place.“
“Having traveled all the way from Canada, our visit to this restaurant was truly extraordinary. The service stood out immediately, with our waitress providing insightful menu explanations and excellent recommendations for our group of four, which turned out to be spot on.The food itself was outstanding. From appetizers to main courses, each dish was bursting with flavor and spices that made every bite a delight. Eating with our hands added an extra layer of enjoyment, engaging all our senses in the experience. Even those in our group who weren't vegan were thoroughly impressed. The restaurant's cozy and welcoming atmosphere added to the overall charm. The local artwork on the walls and the vibrant colors created a warm and inviting ambiance. We'll definitely be returning to this hidden gem. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!“
“Always good !! Just stopped in on a sunny day to sit outback and enjoy the excellent cheeseburger and kale salad . We love this dive bar, people always friendly and the quality of food for the price is excellent . Been coming here for ten yrs or more and it never disapoints“
“Full marks across the board, everything on the extensive menu is great with the Irish mixed grill and the salmon being my favorites. The portions are huge the servers are all terrific and in the evenings and weekends there is always a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to all food lovers and double recommend it to those on a budget“
“Definitely lived up to the social media hype and no doubt best tavern burger in Queens. One can choose any burger on their extensive burger menu with a side of fries or onion rings for less than 20 bucks, it’s a deal I’m willing to sign up for every day.We went on a Thursday late afternoon and place was energetic and lively, just what you expect from a well-known busy tavern. I can only imagine what it’s like on weekends when they have live band.Donovan’s is the real deal.“
“I love this place. The chipotle chicken sandwich is amazing. The service is excellent. Humble interior, delicious food (try the wake and bake burger that has an egg and a hash brown) and reasonably priced. The servers have a great energy and are quick. As a local, I’d recommend this place to anyone around the area.“
“I highly recommend this restaurant! I came with a group to celebrate a special occasion, and the staff was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious, and I loved trying this place! It's at the top of my list of restaurants in the city!“
“Went to a catered event there today. What a fun place! Very comfortable. Absolutely fantastic food!! Huge variety and really cool takes on comfort food. Deconstructed chicken and biscuits, brats in pretzel roll (pigs and a blanket) beautiful salad. I would come back for the food alone! And beautiful cocktails. Sampled espresso martini and cosmos. Both delicious not overly sweet perfectly balanced. Service was seamless. Everything seemed to appear exactly when you wanted it. I will definitely be going there again!!“
“We came down to watch the game and were welcomed and had a great morning. We did not have any food but what we saw looked good, the beer was delicious and the service excellent though. A great place to visit if you want an LFC game while in New York.“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side. Many great menu items, but my favorite is their chicken pot pie (see pic). I also often order the bruschetta - it’s always prepared perfectly. The ambiance of an Irish pub is full of character. The food, the drinks, and the service here is consistently excellent.“
“I was a regular at Pete's in the 1980's. A young family and a move to the suburbs turned me into a less frequent but loyal visitor for decades. A move to North Carolina and the pandemic had me away for five years. But, I returned again in 2023 and the magic of Pete's was truly the same as it ever was. Every employee seems to understand their role in making Pete's feel like home to every guest. Congratulations on your continuing success.“
“I went here for the first time on Saturday at 1pm and it was, unexpectedly, one of the best bars I've been to so far in NYC! Rudy is the main contributing factor to my review; he was amazing! We ordered the Totchos (tater tot nachos) which were delicious and had drinks flowing. Nikki, another bartender, arrived before we left and she was also so wonderful. The vibes were amazing - a lot of 20 somethings there to watch sports games. We ended up staying way longer than intended and I'm planning to come back here frequently!“
“I’d give atmosphere 10 stars if I could. This is my all time favorite bar. It’s chill. The staff are incredible, and there are regulars that all know each other and talk. I love this place so much I rented it out for my wedding reception.11/10. Couldn’t recommend more.“
“10/10 This is my favorite spot to get wings and a burger in this area.Food: It has great buffalo wings, and the burger and fries are absolutely delicious. They have Pat LaFrieda patties and it hits every time. My friend had the Chicken Bites and loved them too. I need to try other things on the menu. Will report back Atmosphere: Cozy, classic pub vibe, but feels newer and super clean. It gets pretty busy for all sorts of sports game, and they have great outdoor seating in the summer.Service: The wait staff has always been super friendly whether it’s busy or not. They also make great suggestions on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is a ramp, but I’m not sure about how accessible the bathroom is.“
“relaxing vibe open at 12 noon. Not really crowded inside at all. Waitress is very friendly and calm. Non judgmental vibes. They have hot tea as well. I ordered Green tea ($5) it was so delicious. The waitress brings water too. Big open spaces feel free. I highly recommend! I see most of the pictures are old location, (not sure where it was) I'll update pictures next time.“
“Quite literally stumbled on this bar years ago, and always felt at home in this underground bar nestled in such a busy part of the city. The craft beers available are well curated, and the atmosphere makes it easy to chat with people and the bartenders. Great date night spot to end the night.“
“I came here for the weekly Bitches Brew comedy show on a Friday night. It was all the way in the back. It started around 8:30pm, but the seats easily filled up. If you go for that, I'd recommend getting there around 8:15. I don't expect anything when it comes to comedy shows, but I was genuinely impressed. There were about eight comics, and even the worst of the bunch was still decently funny. Overall, the bar is cozy and spacious. I didn't get anything to drink, but it seemed like there was a wide range of affordable options.“
“The prices are super cheap. Bartenders are always friendly they have a jukebox and vending machine and sometimes they cater food. The game nights (connect4, cards, chess, checkers, dominoes and video games) are absolutely fun. Brother Rob always makes sure everyone has a good time!“
“Good local bar. I wouldn't travel far to come here, but my friend lives down the block on 40th and this is my favorite spot in the area. Good prices, got just what you need. People are always cool around here. Saw a fight once outside. Pool tables you can play. Bathroom is far away downstairs. I come here whenever I'm in the neighborhood!“
“Can accommodate groups of All sizes … Grill master is off the chain … Cheeseburger on a pretzel bun are so so delicious … staff is joyful and friendly while the beer selection is one of a kind. Then to all the Players … the music room is wood-based with a vented ceiling both allowing super warmness and absorption for you band’s lower-registered folk and volume-headroom for your scream & shout folk and everything else … what’s not to love … Rock on Radegast !!!!!“
“We had a wonderful dining experience here this past Saturday evening. The atmosphere of this old Irish sports pub was lively and friendly, without being overwhelming. We sat at one of the many tables surrounding the bar. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer and wine were great and the burgers, fries, salad, and salmon were delicious and the portions very generous. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering its location a block and a half south of Central Park. We were just tourists but would come back often if we lived here.“
“Lovely dive spot for a fresh draft and ambient buzz. Beyond burger and fried pickles served hot and timely. Sweet bartender with knowledge and a smile. Tv screens running White Lotus were either over-the-top irony or well-placed takes on us clientele. A neighborhood haunt full of happy years.Vegetarian options: Beyond burger was good“
“Great pocha in Pal Park. Love all.the photo ops they have within. The ambiance, food and service are excellent!! Been there many many times and our favorites are the hamburger steak and beef tartare(yookhoe 육회). Think they have the freshest yookhoe in town! Will be back again soon!!“
“Great Bar, you have to go! We stayed for 5 nights in the New Yorker and ended up back in the Tailor Bar most nights. Great food, great beers but most importantly amazing Staff - Jack, Connor and the lovely Girl from Brooklyn (Sorry I can't remember her name) took the time to write out some really great Food recommendations. It's always busy but worth it. Oh and they show the Premier League matches and just about every other Sporting events on TV. Just go.“
“First timer there even though I believe they've been around but the food and drinks were awesome and the have screens everywhere for your sports viewing and they will try to set you up with your game while you soak up some food and refreshments....recommend it!!!“
“This is a real Irish bar. Not in the sense of taped up paper leprechauns or a tinsel HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY banner, but rather campaign photos of John and Robert Kennedy, as well as other candidates for office going back more than 100 years. It's one of the oldest bars in New York City, and decorated with historical markers, play tickets, political posters and buttons, as well as a painting of a naked lady! Your choices for drinks are light ale or dark ale. They make good sandwiches, too.“
“Great Irish pub with friendly staff and delicious food. They pay attention to the details like matching the branded glasses with the right beers. Service was very quick even though it was wall to wall busy since it’s a popular place. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Maggie herself!“
“I absolutely love Jasper’s Tap House & Kitchen! Their Santa Fe chicken sandwich is a standout favorite of mine, worth crossing town for. The fries are divine, and the portion sizes are generous. The staff is also incredibly friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait for my next visit!“
“the friendly neighborhood pub you imagine from TV shows. the staff are super friendly and welcoming. we always have a good time enjoying a drink and laughs. there are darts and pool in the back, too! can’t recommend highly enough for get togethers small and large.“
“The place is full of European Vibe!! The decoction is super simple but elegant. They have 21 variety of taps and a lot of Great wine and beer. I just love the dim light and music with good taste of drinks. Bartender in there is super friendly and make you feel comfortable. I just feel like love it.“
“My number one go to spot in the neighborhood hands down. Everyone is family and friends, amazing atmosphere! If you are looking for a drink during the day then this is your place. When it comes to nightlife, pool table and music just is incredible. Make sure you visit this bar for sure. All bartenders are great and friendly every single time. You love sports, then this is your spot. There aren't many bars around any more in the neighborhood so definitely check Tee Dee's out!!“
“The perfect pub if you are in the desperate need of a quick pint. It's the definition of "fast drink" instead of "fast food" because sadly this place is lacking of food or at least snacks but I think it's the concept of this place to only serve drinks and I have to say they are doing that on the best level.“
“Great spot for your 20s if you live on the UES. Came here quite a bit when I was younger. They have beer pong and I’d say its a classed up sports bar. My friend met her husband here years ago. The food here is decent American bar food but nothing crazy. When it does get busy and really packed here the service can suffer and it can be difficult to get a drink.“
“I love this place. I spent a couple nights over NFL Wildcard weekend this year watching the games. Great small town bar vibes, excellent for watching the games (especially on the Monday night, when it was much quieter than Saturday). Great barmen, no music and friendly clientele. You can order in your own food too.“
“This bar has a number of amenities that make it stand out like indoor bocchi and a comedy hall downstairs. There's even a library. However, these come at the expense of seating. I came here on a Saturday night and couldn't find anywhere to sit. I just had to stand for a bit and spy out a chair as soon as I could grab it.Their beer selection is alright, though lacking in a broader variety that would help it stand out.“
“They do not sell food, beer and wine only. They make a mean frozen sangria! I never have a problem getting a seat and the bartender remembered me! Cool spot.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get into the market, there are no stairs. It might be a little difficult to navigate once inside. The spaces between the different vendors can be narrow.“
“I can't believe this place is down the block from my house and I didn't know. Granted I just moved to the neighborhood, but I can see this becoming a favorite spot. The service was great( maybe the server name was crystal , I'm really bad with names ) ! Food could be at a 3 but if service is great that bumps it up to a 4 . In this case , service was great and food was amazing. Hit the spot. Next time I go I'll repost with pictures ... I was too hungry to snap pictures.“
“It is a sports pub. No food, cash only and rugged. But I was a single woman that wanted to read my book, be on my phone and watch the hockey game. Not only did Kathy and Caesar allow me to do so, they were kind, conversational and lovely. It is what it advertises and I can't wait to Go back again. Apparently there is good pizza next door that they let you bring in, but the drinks are reasonable and the patrons are delightful. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want something laid back to watch the game.“
