“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“We hosted a birthday dance party in the Tiny Montgomery space and it couldn't have been a more perfect venue! The space itself is awesome and ideal for a party of 50-75 people - intimate but not too squishy. And the staff and bartenders were awesome. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout and everyone had a blast! I would definitely host my next party here again!!“

“Between the aimrt and the staff, this place is awesome. I have heard that the beer is also awesome here too(but I can't drink it). However they have more than beer and they have na too! They play all the major sports if that's your thing. You can reserve tables for parties. Beers are great, staff are great! Seriously give them all the tips. And they often have pop up food, whis had always been spot on! Tonight was good by Q! Yummm... I hope you get a Q food night! Also, all bathrooms are non gendered and clean. Drink here be happy..“

“This was my first time in Brooklyn and this bar was the highlights of Brooklyn. The atmosphere was chill, but Josh really made our experience that much better. He was professional, while being personable. My friend and I came in because of the aesthetic of the bar, but we stayed because of Josh. A must visit in Brooklyn!“

“Really cool vibe and good service! We went on a Monday evening (6pm) and got a table right away. We had mozzarella sticks (awesome) and burgers - both veggie/meat. I switched the fries with onion rings (awesome) for my burger.
What I loved about this place was the crayons they put on every table to color the paper tablecloth. So great for kids and adults!“

“I was here recently with a friend during Liberty playoffs and when we arrived all the TVs had baseball on. My friend, thinking there was no way they’d change one for us, asked the bartender if there was anywhere around showing the Liberty game. He immediately hopped to, got the game turned on for us, was extremely accommodating and kind when we thought we might get the side eye. Such sweet guys and they have old speckled hen on tap & walker’s crisps to boot. What’s not to love? Brought my friend from London the following week and we had a great time. Good vibes all around.“

“I stopped into Gold Star today for an early lunch and was absolutely blown away by how amazing the grilled cheese with tomato soup was! Best grilled cheese I have ever had. I paired it with the dark lager they had on tap and man oh man - was it the perfect combo. 5 Stars for Gold Star!“

“I love this place for the affordable drinks and excellent entertainment provided by various talented Drag Queens and Drag Kings. Happy Hour is pretty cool. There’s stuff going on most nights. They have a Pool Table too and I believe starting a tournament soon.“

“This is my go to after work spot during the week to catch up with friends. Happy Hour is usually until 7pm and drink cocktails cost approx. $10. The bartenders are more like mixologists as the quality of drinks is far better than your average bar. Truffle fries are great, recommend.“

“(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

“Last minute decision and so happy my kids wanted burgers that night! We were parked minutes from the Williamsburg bridge after coming back from NYC. Went in and it wasn’t busy and we were seated and several right away! Drinks came out minutes later. The pub has a decent menu and seating area but I can see it filing up quickly on regular days. I’d super highly recommend if you’re in the mood for American cuisine; burger and fries and drinks! Super fresh burgers and crispy fries. Grilled chicken was to die for! Let’s no forget the Mac and cheese: definitely get that too. The potato soup caught me off guard and so did the salad bc it was so yummy.“

“10/10! The vibe is amazing, the drinks are exceptional, and the food/snacks are delicious. They host such an awesome variety of events (music, crafts, book club, etc) and have an amazing selection of wines and wine-based cocktails in the bar at night. Its a cool spot in the winter but is especially great in the summer when you can sit outside in the backyard! Such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!“

“This review is for the pinball games only. First great selection of games. TWO Godzilla's! Pretty much all of my favorites (aside from rare games that I don't expect most places to have). Almost all of the games take dollar bills, so bring a stack of singles (a few games are quarters only). $1/game. It would be nice if they were 3 games for $2 as many places do.

There were some issues, however. First some Stern games were not configured or hooked up to the internet so you couldn't scan your QR code to keep track of your games. Some did work, so it seems they were just lazy on setting them up. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Some games were not set up great, for example, Indiana Jones was so sensitive to nudging it made the game unplayable (if you play this game you know that you can nudge the game on the right drain to get it to bounce through the door to the flippers).

If they fix the maintenance/setup issues on the games I'd give this place 5 stars. As is it's a 3-4 star pinball place.“

“Hosted my birthday gathering here 2 straight years and it’s been a wonderful experience each time. Service is awesome and it’s truly a gem to host a free gathering. Be sure to create your Spotify playlist and send your food order in advance of your gathering/celebration. Additionally, the space is beautiful!“

“Found this gem by chance. All the dishes were amazing. The fried chicken that they're known for were very crispy and tasty. Just like what I used to have back in Korea growing up! My favorite though were the dumplings. The drinks were great too.

The server was amazingly attentive. The vibe was chill and welcoming.

Overall, we had a really nice time at this place. The atmosphere was pleasant, and everything we ordered tasted great.
However, the service was just a little *too* fast. The staff was incredibly attentive, but they started clearing dishes and taking plates from our table before we were completely finished. It made us feel a bit rushed to wrap up our meal.
Everything else was wonderful, but a little more breathing room between courses would make the experience perfect!“

“Stopped in here for a quick bite with 2 small children just as it opened. Place was clean and kids loved the aquarium behind the bar and the koi pond and stream in the back patio. Good selection of draft beers. You order food at a window, selection is basic bar food of burgers, chicken, taco's, BLT sprinkled with po-boy's and keilbasa. On Tuesday nights, if you order fries with your meal, you get a free draught beer. Our food was hot and came out quickly. Our bar tender was very informative and attentive. We would definitely come back!“

“Honestly I was hoping for more from this place from what I’ve seen on social media, at least when it comes to the food. This is purely a review on the all you can eat taco Tuesday and honestly it was a little underwhelming. The only taco I actually enjoyed was the carnitas and pork doesn’t really sit well with me 😀. But overall the atmosphere and the staff were great. We got our food fast and they played great music. I just wished the tacos were better I guess.“

“Great location of a popular brewery. It was a treat to visit this location when I was visiting. I was treated to the same chill vibe you can always expect from other half, with tons of cute doggies. They had their standard menu of beers along with canned cocktails and special cocktails for the non beer drinkers. It wasn’t huge inside but the overflow of guests could find more seating outside. Great view of the river and some interesting people watching at domino park rounded out the afternoon.“

“Literally THE BEST BURGER. Been coming here for yearssss since 2018 and it’s been about three years since I had the pleasure of eating here. I was in the area and just had to stop by. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Huge burger with all the things on it. 10/10 and the staff is the best. Alicia in particular is the goat. Always the sweetest and passionate about customers having the best experience and enjoying the food. Run don’t walk. You NEED this burger asap. There is a large lovely beer garden and they regularly fire up the grill — bring your own meat! Karaoke and monthly quiz night are really fun with locals who love participating and singing along.“
