“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“Between the aimrt and the staff, this place is awesome. I have heard that the beer is also awesome here too(but I can't drink it). However they have more than beer and they have na too! They play all the major sports if that's your thing. You can reserve tables for parties. Beers are great, staff are great! Seriously give them all the tips. And they often have pop up food, whis had always been spot on! Tonight was good by Q! Yummm... I hope you get a Q food night! Also, all bathrooms are non gendered and clean. Drink here be happy..“

“One of my favorite date night spots. Cozy ambience with great selection of wines. Lots of delicious light bites to go with your wine. Popular on nice days, certainly not guaranteed to get an outdoor spot as they are busy but the wait staff can often move you outside once a table frees up.“

“I went here on the last day of a week long trip to New York, I ate in many places during my time but this restaurant was by far my favourite.

The intimate counter seating allows you to get really close to the chef and the other staff while they cook so you can really see the artistry. They were also very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had while also being really engaging during the whole tasting menu.

The food itself is top quality, high grade ingredients prepared to a very high standard. Up there with one of the best tasting menus I’ve experienced.

The area around the restaurant is also very beautiful, with a riverside view of the city skyline within a few minutes walk.

“What a hidden gem! Namdo Brooklyn has a lovely, modern interior with a cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe that makes it absolutely perfect for a date night. Unlike a lot of trendy spots, it wasn't overly loud, so we could actually sit back and enjoy a great conversation.
The perilla seed oil noodles were incredibly flavorful- as a Korean tryuly enjoyed it and Yangneum fried chicken was crispy & sauce was tasty reminded me the famous one in Sokcho, Korea that I craved! My husband loved the kimchi fried rice with pork belly-!

Truly one of the best beer bars I’ve been to in New York. Great selection, fresh pours. Stopped in on a whim and almost instantly became a permanent patron. Must-stop if you’re in the area, worth traveling to if you love draft beer and a solid chaser. Great prices too!“

“We grabbed a couple delicious IPAs from the extensive menu and sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Love the stemmed glasses used for serving which add a bit of charm. The inside of the bar has a cool, laid back, almost retro vibe. Bartender was friendly and helpful. Definitely a good stop.“

Great selection of savory pies, and a nice schedule of pop-up collaborators. Carl behind the bar is a gentleman and a professional. “(Nov 2014) Uber cool high tech mod fitout and no shortage of opinionated beer nerds (complete with obligatory cult brewery t-shirts). Even at 2pm on a Sunday arvo. Doesn’t quite have the warm of a traditional US bar but still pretty friendly. Very international list with a focus on left of centre. Pricing on the high side but reflects the quality of the beers. Served via cabernet glasses - a nice touch. I really grew to like the place and they use a small space well. Can I say it reminds me of Two Row in Melbourne? And....btw....the only other bar I have ever seen where punters are punching out tasting notes!“

Nic was professional and helpful with prior communication of the booking process, the minimum spend requirements, and the details of the menu.

They were able to accommodate a large group (25+ people) in the backyard. Chad was extremely proficient in handling the flow of food and Emilio was a great server.

The space is cute, the food is great, and the vibes are immaculate. I would happily host and event there again.“

“My favorite spot in Greenpoint. So many amazing pinball machines and other arcade games and they have a great beer selection. I also love that they are open until 2am. I have to stop myself from eating too much fried chicken when I am there because Peeps kitchen is just so good. The owner is super nice and the vibes are always fun and chill. Love this spot!“

“Last minute decision and so happy my kids wanted burgers that night! We were parked minutes from the Williamsburg bridge after coming back from NYC. Went in and it wasn’t busy and we were seated and several right away! Drinks came out minutes later. The pub has a decent menu and seating area but I can see it filing up quickly on regular days. I’d super highly recommend if you’re in the mood for American cuisine; burger and fries and drinks! Super fresh burgers and crispy fries. Grilled chicken was to die for! Let’s no forget the Mac and cheese: definitely get that too. The potato soup caught me off guard and so did the salad bc it was so yummy.“

“I had enjoyed my date here. The energy within the pub was so positive. You can really tell that the bartender was truly knowledgeable & has a passion for what he does. The pub is clean & tidy. They have a music jam Wednesday nights, as our of there entertainment options, and there's like other stores embedded in this one, it's like a mini market.
