“This past weekend I hosted a luncheon to celebrate four milestone senior birthdays. We were about 20 in the rear of the outdoor area. The staff was fabulous as when I arrived we altered how things were laid out. They just went along enthusiastically and we achieved our goal The special menu prepared by the chef was delicious, flavorful and plentiful. I cannot say enough about how magnificent the event was and how from the beginning to end all they want to do is please. The attendees have not stopped expressing how “perfect “ everything was. Other Half Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“I visited Other Half Brewing while I was in Brooklyn and absolutely loved it! The vibe is super chill with a nice mix of locals and visitors. The IPAs are some of the best I’ve ever had, really fresh and full of flavor. The taproom has a cool industrial feel and it’s dog-friendly too, which I loved. Perfect spot to hang out with friends or just relax with a great beer. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Brooklyn! 🍺“

Eckhart Beer Co. Brewery •

“They really need to show cult classic films here! It's a huge space with a projector where we watched a World Cup game. Practically had the place to ourselves--super lowkey and classy vibe. I guess no one knows about it bc they don't really post on social media? Also, their beers are soooo delicious and have an incredible selection! They def know their stuff here.“

Grimm Artisanal Ales Brewery • $$
990 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn

“This place is the absolute best.

As a craft beer drinker, Grimm has always been one of my favorite places in the city to grab a beer but what truly took the place to the next level is this past month when my now wife and I decided to hold our wedding at Grimm.

We had such an amazing time and a huge part of that is because of how welcoming and accommodating the staff was to us. They helped us from the early brainstorms of the wedding to the layout of the final event, to even proactively reaching out to us with alternatives for wedding photo locations when it looked like it was about to rain on our wedding day. This doesn't even mention all the times when they were so gracious and patient with answer our many questions about food options, wedding day schedules, and everything in between.

Amazing food. Amazing people. And (obviously) amazing beers!“

Endless Life Brewing Brewery • $$
52 34th St, Brooklyn

“I stopped by Endless Brewing Company in search of their Kölsch style beer “Construed to waste your time”. The Kölsch was everything it should be crisp with a light yellow hue and served at a perfectly chilled temperature to bring out its best flavor. Best I’ve have had outside of Cologne Germany. Endless Life Brewing in located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn and has been set up with its neighborhood in mind. The perfect place to come and sit with friends for a chat or play couple games. Their back patio is softly lit and has picnic tables perfect for night of catching up and maybe grabbing a small bite. I had their homemade mac and cheese and I swear they had my grandmother in back making it.“

“We rented out the TALEA Williamsburg taproom for our wedding welcome event, and it couldn’t have gone better!

Throughout the booking process, Nikki, Bonnie, and the entire TALEA team were a pleasure to work with. They were quick to respond and answered all of our questions. They recommended the correct amount of food for our headcount and steered us towards the package that made the most sense for our event.

During the party, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. We had so much fun and recommend TALEA to anyone in need of an event space!!“

Other Half Brewing Domino Park Brewery •
34 River St, Brooklyn

“We had the absolute best experience hosting my husband's birthday at Other Half Brewing Company, and a huge part of that was thanks to their incredible manager, Matthew and wonderful staff. From start to finish, they made what could have been a complex setup feel seamless, flexible, and genuinely enjoyable.
If you're planning a big gathering where things don’t run on a rigid schedule, this is *the* place. They were so accommodating with guests filtering in and out over a few hours due to different commitments, which made it feel relaxed and had plenty of space for our guests to hang around given the event went for 3 additional hours.

One of the biggest perks it’s both dog-friendly and kid-friendly, which made it easy for everyone to join without hesitation. And unlike so many venues, they’re refreshingly reasonable with their rules and support other local businesses you can bring in pizza from Stretch and your own cake (we brought ours from Francie) without any of those ridiculous cake-cutting fees. That alone made a huge difference.

The drink selection was fantastic across the board. Beyond their excellent beers and beer flights, they also had great cocktails and a solid range of non-alcoholic options, so every guest felt taken care of. We especially loved their Annuelle partner wine series they even provided ice buckets for each bottle, which elevated the setup and made everything look so polished and thoughtful. The setting near Domino Park is stunning, and even with unpredictable weather, it created such a beautiful and memorable backdrop for our celebration.

Guest favorites were definitely the Crickets, Green City, and the rosé people are still talking about them.

Overall, this was one of those rare venues that combines great vibes, flexibility, and genuine hospitality. Matthew and the team truly went above and beyond to make our celebration special.“
