Kato Sake Works Reviews
Had a fantastic sake flight and saw some phenomenal jazz. Great service from the friendly and welcoming bartender.
We came here on a Friday night, when they had live jazz playing on a small platform in the corner. We split two flights of sake, giving us a great variety of options. We liked most of them.
Great Japanese sake, and amazing jazz music!

Kato Sake Works is a low-key, cozy sake bar and brewery with a welcoming vibe and friendly service. The sake is incredible, especially the junmai, and the tasting flight offers a generous portion for a reasonable price. The brewery tour is a fantastic deal, providing an informative and educational experience on the sake-making process. The space features live music, especially on Fridays and Saturdays with a jazz band playing, creating a chill and dog-friendly atmosphere. Many customers appreciate the amazing community spot that Shinobu and Ayako have created, with well-curated events like music, food, and book clubs. The cocktail program is also noted as incredible. While the experience is great, some guests feel uncomfortable with the tip collection method at the end of the night. Overall, Kato Sake Works stands out as an excellent spot, especially for those who weren't expecting to find it.
