They have a $20 card minimum, which for a divey bar is kind of ridiculous. What other bar in the area has a $20 minimum?
I had a $12 tab and the bartender said that’s not enough there’s a $20 minimum when I tried to close out. I said I would gladly buy someone a drink.
The bartender flatly, and honestly rudely said “I’m charging you 20” without a further comment.

Chicken sandwich was great but was basically half breading half chicken…but I’d still order it again. We also got the “seasoned” fried but honestly not sure what it was seasoned with because it tasted like regular fries.
Bartender is such a sweetheart, always talking to customers, great attitude no matter what. The food at the counter is almost unmatched for bar food. Will return. Crowd does veer younger Bushwick.
