We went here for dinner and it was like having a home cooked meal. The food was delicious, super fresh, and served with care, especially the roast chicken and mashed potatoes. Highly recommend the turmeric and lemon tea as well. Very affordable, great service, and peaceful ambiance.
Pitanga is a beautiful bar/restaurant serving up good drinks and good food. The menu has a good selection of options and everything I tried was delicious!I went in on a Friday evening and the restaurant was a little quiet which is honestly surprising given how spacious and welcoming it is.I ordered the pao de quejo and the fish stew and I recommend both. On a second visit I ordered the cheese plate and it was ok.

Amazing dinner menu with so much flavor and vegetarian/vegan options! My husband and I are so glad we stumbled upon Pitanga while looking for a place to have dinner in Bushwick. I guess not too many people know that they now offer dinner because we were two of only a handful of people there at 9pm. Highly recommend getting the rice and bean soul dish. The service was also excellent! Can’t wait to go back.
