“I think this place is great. Especially for a date night too. The Temaki they serve is great for a 2 bite situation, making it really easy to share between 2… if that’s your thing. To be honest, coming here and getting the classic & signature is just as $ as getting delivery sushi, maybe a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. High quality ingredients & thought out flavors.Personal favorite temaki is the XO scallop. The whole entire restaurant is gluten free by the way, so that might win a lot of people over. The interior & vibe is definitely for a certain demographic and will become aged out within maybe a year or two. The interior is on the same note of that Tend instagram dentist place, and that’s not a compliment. The music they play reminds me of what they would play at like a retail store.Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant is gluten free & can help gluten intolerance with their meal.“
“Also packed with a line outside the door for late lunch - but the interior is spacious with also outdoor seating! We got the Hell Boy and Mutz, which was a lot flavorful than a typical white pie with a great oomph from the garlic. We've tried the Hell Boy slice at MSG but getting it fresh and hot here is best - the sesame dough crunch is unreal!“
“The servers at Casa Ora are super friendly, focus on their customers and are very attentive. My server Freimar, took time to answer any questions that I had, pertaining to some of the items on the menu .She had such a wonderful personality and really made my dining there, all the more enjoyable. The food I ordered was well seasoned, I should know that, as I am a cooking school grad, and worked at Port Authority of NY and NJ ,four different facilities, in their kitchen and dining room/cafeterias for 20 years and six months. I am also a Veteran of the US ARMY,served for 17.5 years. I totally enjoyed the Pastelito,, The Brisket was most excellent, had a very nice flavor,.There was a mild garlic sauce that I put on it,made it taste even better. I just loved the sweet plantains, which came with sour cream I had a glass of Mongarda Brut Prosecco,, which was very good. I ordered a cup of Cappuccino, which was very good. I really enjoyed this meal and most definitely will return. I plan to bring a very special friend of my family, who is from Peru, the next time that I dine at that restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant, I give them 5 stars and as far as Food Presentation, they get a 10 from me.......“
“Delicious BBQ in Industry City, Brooklyn, NY. The brisket and cornbread were too die for!! So good. The pastrami, thick cut bacon ? was very flavorful but super rich and filling, so please share!! It’s a self-serve place, so if you’re looking for table service you won’t get it. Be the food was very good.“
“I have eaten alot of falafel, shawarma, and other sorts of middle eastern cuisine. This is THE BEST falafel ive had in my life. Literally everything here was great. I had the baklava aswell, it was also the best I've ever had. This is a must visit for anyone in town“
“Incredibly delicious coffee. The best cappuccino I've had in the neighborhood. Hamlet is a spacious and industrial-style neighborhood coffee spot. On a weekday, it's full of people on their laptops (which they may want to have better regulation for), but overall there's a lot of space and even more in the warmer months (outdoor backyard). Service is efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back for the coffee. It's hard to find espresso drinks that aren't burned! And Hamlet doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend!“
“Sandwiches are expensive here!! Around $17 so be prepared. The bread is phenomenal though. The triple chocolate croissant is delicious - very flaky and not too dry. Would recommend. The pistachio croissant was a tad too dry and wasn’t standout.“
“Lovely spot, came for brunch on my birthday. Same great food and great service as always, but I was surprised to find the Yemenite Pancake renamed (which is the best thing on the menu).I always thought they were cool for putting aside differences and shouting out their southern neighbors… I mean, Yemenis food is delicious.“
“I visited Hibiscus Cafe less than an hour before closing on a Sunday evening. The café was really busy, and everyone (including myself) was ordering complicated drinks. A few folks ordered things that required ingredients that were out, and something like that could throw anyone off their game at the end of their shift. However, the woman working was handling everything so smoothly and efficiently, and she was just plain awesome. My matcha latte was also delicious! I can’t wait to go back!“
“Bricolage was excellent. The food totally lived up to the hype. Every dish was packed with flavor, from the delicious summer rolls to the surprisingly flavorful charred eggplant salad. And the spicy garlic noodles were a fantastic main, blending a unique combination of sour, sweet, and savory into a delicious meal. The menu is a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get your money's worth in terms of quality dishes. I'll be coming back for sure!“
“The staff is professional and friendly. Their vegan dishes are beautifully prepared, spiced to perfection and taste delicious. The vegan burger is the best that I have had and better than many beef burgers. The vegan chocolate chip cookie is hands down the best on the city.“
“Lunchtime Discovery That Demands a Dinner ReturnMy first venture into Rucola for lunch turned out to be an unforgettable experience that has me eagerly anticipating a return visit for dinner. Nestled in a space that can only be described as a rustic cabin meets modern chic, Rucola instantly charmed me with its unique and dope vibe. The highlight of the visit was, without a doubt, the sandwich – a creation so deliciously satisfying, it left me in a state of "nom nom" bliss. It's rare to find a dish that makes you dream about your next visit before you've even left, but Rucola managed just that.Adding to the overall excellence was our server, whose recommendations were spot-on and service was impeccable. It's always a pleasure to encounter staff who enhance the dining experience with their enthusiasm and knowledge.Rucola's ambiance, combined with top-tier cuisine and service, makes it more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary destination. If lunch was this impressive, I can only imagine what delights await at dinner. Counting down the days until I can return and dive deeper into their menu. ???️“
“We were in town and found this restaurant after visiting the Brooklyn Library. We were pleased with the food and service. We also had mimosas and an espresso martini which was great. We made a reservation and was immediately sat with no wait when we arrived. I would've liked to see them cater to a more diverse crowd. Lacked a bit in diversity regarding patrons but I don't know if that's the restaurant's fault. We were the only minority there when we went. Overall we enjoyed our visit here.“
“My favorite brunch in Brooklyn maybe even nyc !! Everything is absolutely delicious, fresh, good portions and you can tell they use quality products while maintaining good prices! Their coffee and drinks are also incredible. They were really cute before and just went through a lovely renovation that matches the incredibly quality of the food! Amazing friendly staff, I go so much they've started to recognize us, love you Betty!“
“We found you on our trip to Brooklyn in March and we are still dreaming about the amazing turmeric oatmeal breakfast - so great that we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge the following day for another portion! Great service, great staff, we will be back and we will be telling all our friends to come too!“
“I just can’t get enough of this place, it’s sooo damn good. I came to vacation here in New York once again after coming here once during wrestlemania 2019. I immediately came here during the cold raining storm drenched just wanting my key lime pie!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT! Everything tastes very high quality.I just got everything on the menu . I don’t care how much it cost. The chocolate is smooth, creamy and dark. It pairs really well with key lime pie. You can actually taste the graham cracker crust, I’m shocked because so many pies mask the flavor of the crust with their artificial sour tart lime filling. Not this pie!! And last but not least, the key lime filling is perfect. Not extremelySour or tart, just right and creamy. With a hint of lime flavor.Prior to our arrival, my sister was angry and upset that I made her walk with me to Steve’s during this crazy cold windy storm. Her mood changed once she tried the pie. Saved me the stress of having to deal with it.Ugh I’m leaving today morning back to LA. I’ll miss this place very much. I wish there was a Steve’s in Los Angeles. My trips to NY are not compete without a key lime pie from Steve.“
“Just came back from Mother's Day Brunch with my sons and husband. Food was excellent as was the service! Beet salad was so good, burgers cooked to perfection, shakshuka with merguez sausage was delicious, the white truffles pizza with poached eggs was amazing!! Thank you Wild for a 100% gluten free restaurant with 100% great food!“
“I actually think the pastries are a bit hit and miss, but I’m clearly in the minority on that one. They also rarely heat up any of the display food (quiche, fritata, etc) much above wave-a-candle-in-its-general-direction temperature.BUT, sitting outside or in the backyard with a coffee and sandwich make this place a return spot. The breakfast sandwich is a delicious mess and the bread was phenomenal. Cappuccino was also fantastic (I’ve had much worse at dedicated coffee shops nearby)“
“Went at 945a a little after they opened and the line was moving pretty quicklySubbed chorizo with avocado in this massive burrito with scrambled eggs, potatoes, tomatillo salsa verde. Ok each bite had a burst of flavors. It’s reasonably priced and I would absolutely get it again!I also tried their chocolate chip cookie, chocolate banana bread loaf, ube sesame mochi, cheddar chive biscuit“
“Today I had a life changing cookie. I had the strawberry milk cookie, then immediately texted my husband and called my sister to talk about this amazing cookie. Strawberry is one of my favorite flavors, so maybe I’m biased, but it was the best cookie I’ve had in a really long time. It was soft with crunchy bits on top, and the strawberry flavor popped. I felt like a cartoon character with heart eyes and sparkles coming out of my head with just one bite. The s’mores cookie was also amazing. Both cookies were delicious and also unique. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.“
“Happy hour did not disappoint! My friend and I ordered a few happy hour items to share, and the dip trio is a definite must-try. The hummus was incredibly smooth and perfectly seasoned. The romanesco was a recommendation from our server, and it was my personal favorite. Kinda reminiscent of buffalo sauce because of the tang and spice, goes very well with the pita. The feta-lebneh was interesting, very pungent and strong in flavor but I still enjoyed it. The chicken sliders were seasoned super well, but a little messy to eat since the pita slice buns were thin. The kale salad was a good way to balance out our spread, and the pinenuts and cheese added good texture and flavor. Great place to catch up with a friend or have a date night!“
“Personally, this spot is a 10/10 for several reasons. The personable owner is from Italy and knows how to provide great service and authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is perfect for me: lowkey, dim but not too dark, nothing crazy or lavish just a homey, great dining experience. The butternut squash was to die for. Definitely going back!“
“When anyone asks me where to find the best chocolate croissant in Brooklyn, Runner and Stone comes out on the top of my list. The pastries are perfectly balanced. Buttery but not too greasy, crisp on the outside but airy and fluffy on the inside. My only complaint is that I always want more. The staff is always very attentive and patient.“
“Beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance, helpful waiters and staff, and most of food great variety of choices and the food is truly amazing! An epic experience indeed!Kid-friendliness: My friend brought her tot, and the kids food choices were perfect“
“This is hands down my favorite bakery in NYC. These recent one star reviews are clearly fake, bots, and/or a pathetic person(s) with a vendetta, which is really sad. Everyone who works there is always very friendly. They consistently make the best croissants, sourdough loafs, etc. and I think their baguette is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I almost wish I hadn’t tried their puff brioche loaf, because I crave it constantly and am already too fat. Thank you, Brooklyn French Bakers.“
“Brick-walled institution in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn serving up spectacular steak and seafood. Incredible old world ambience and can’t say enough of their impeccable service. Overall just an incredible spot to dine in.St. Anselm is most famously known for their signature Angus Butcher’s Steak so if it’s your first visit, this is the absolute must on the menu.“
“Wow! I'm so happy I found this place. It is such a cute and comfortable atmosphere. The guy that helped me was very nice. Their selection is wonderful (I went in around 6 or 7 on a Sunday and they had so much goodies left). I got a few items to take to hang out with friends and there wasn't a crumb left after we tried everything. Not a single disappointing thing in the box. The brown butter and Chai cookies really blew my mind. Prices are great considering the excellent quality of everything and the packaging they put they put the items in. Can't wait to go back!“
“Our wedding guests continue to tell us how great our desserts were—even many months later! So we had to make sure to send our thanks to Baked! We had a cutting cake with two different flavors: Oopsy Daisy on the top, Sweet and Salty on the bottom. Then we sent out platters of cupcakes to our tables of those flavors, plus a mix of others. Additionally, we were able to serve some gluten-free and vegan options for guests with dietary restrictions. Annemarie really helped us work through all the details beforehand, and everything turned out perfect on the day of. Again, we cannot thank them enough!Expect us to come back often, and especially on our anniversary, to pick up some treats!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mariela Italian Cuisine, and I must say, it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. This charming Italian restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey that left me eager to return. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor was elegant yet cozy, providing the perfect backdrop for indulging in the rich flavors of authentic Italian cuisine.Speaking of which, the food at Mariela Italian Cuisine was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, showcasing the chef's mastery of traditional Italian recipes. From the homemade pasta to the mouthwatering sauces, every bite was a symphony of flavors that delighted the palate. But what truly set Mariela Italian Cuisine apart was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. From friendly greetings to attentive recommendations, their hospitality was second to none.Overall, my experience at Mariela Italian Cuisine was nothing short of delightful. The combination of delicious food, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service left a lasting impression, and I can't wait to return for another memorable meal. Whether you're a fan of Italian cuisine or simply looking for a top-notch dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Mariela Italian Cuisine. You won't be disappointed.“
“After reading the review, I immediately asked for a two-chip chocolate chip cookie instead of the famous original chocolate chip walnut cookie, and it was really delicious! If you don't like sweets, it may seem too sweet, but if you eat it freshly served, it's crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, so it's delicious, and it goes great with a bitter drink like Americano or green tea... When I run out of sugar while shopping for nearby vintage, I eat about a quarter of it and then eat it again when I feel thirsty. You can walk around for a long time. It's so sweet that you definitely can't eat it all at once! Still, it’s a cookie like a scone or brownie, so it’s a bit filling and delicious! The staff seemed to differ depending on who was caught. The other two staff were very friendly, but only one had an expressionless expression. Still, the atmosphere inside was nice so it was nice to sit and relax, and seeing as a lot of people were ordering coffee, the drinks seemed to be good as well.“
“We were suggested to visit this place and I was not disappointed. There was a wide selection of pastires and other tasty delights. I managed to con my wife into letting g me get a cannoli and was impressed. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, the cost was appropriate as well. It was a bit of a tight squeeze but space is always an issue. 100% will return.“
“I stopped there recently while in town for Metallica. For a Florida Boy who rarely eats pizza, it was fantastic! If you’re looking for the good stuff, Dellarocco’s in Brooklyn is where it’s at. Highly recommended by this Metallica Fan! Stop by Dellarocco’s for some of the best pizza you’ll ever have.“
“You'll see it, this place was populated even on a weeknight. There isn't an inside, so you'll most likely expect a line.I had trouble choosing because most of the flavors all sounded chocolatey, too sweet, or if they weren't, they were sorbet. Luckily, the worker was patient and offered suggestions. I picked the Kid size Hazelnut one, which she said was their post popular, on a Cone ($6). The ice cream tasted like a creamier Ferrero Rocher, ice cream version. I felt like a kid eating chocolate again. The Kid size was also enough after a filling dinner. This was a solid creamy gelato, I'd recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for good dessert.“
“i ordered a birthday cake ('Vegan chocolate vanilla raspberry crumb 5' - 50$) for pickup. communication was good throughout and the pickup was easy. most importantly, the cake was very good! something i come across every once in a while is that vegan pasty are too sweet for some reason, but this cake had it just right. my memories of what a non-vegan cake tastes like are too weak to be very confident, but i think you'll be safe bringing one to your vegan and non-vegan friends alike. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-08“
“Mia was great first time coming to this spot and I enjoyed it, the mimosa was hitting ! Definitely a spot to come back tooVegetarian options: Good options for all food choicesParking: Weekend parking will be perfect or you can get on the meter“
“This place gets A+ in every way. Service, wait staff, decor, food. Not even the slightest negative word. My first time here, I was blown away. The food is beyond amazing. Every morsel. Each dish has its own unique taste & experience. LOVE“
“I am so so happy with my cake. I sent in a couple reference photos of cakes that I liked and they worked their magic beyond expectations. I am so so so excited about this cake I nearly squealed when I picked it up. Thank you Buttermilk bake shop and if you’re thinkin of choosing them for your next event I say 12/10!! ?“
“10/10 would recommend to a friend! Came here after reading other reviews and glad I listened to what others have said. Great food, friendly staff, and very cool atmosphere! Had the Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Chai Martini - all were amazing.“
“This is the coziest coffee shop and in house bakery in the area. It’s always good to stop by here, get some sandwiches with baked pastries and enjoy it with a coffee.Great vibes to work here and enjoy a conversation on weekends (no laptops allowed).Service is always great and friendly. Highly recommended.“
“This shop is so lovely with great coffee and excellent selection of sweet and savory pastries! There were multiple savory vegetarian pastries which is a plus for me. The selection of books is very diverse with fiction, non-fiction, YA, poetry, etc. as well as a large section of children's books! Wonderful store highly recommend“
“WOW! A GF vegan cafe that has a hot tub and sauna?!? I can't believe this exists and it's all I ever wanted. Thank you to the staff for making it such a memorial experience. I will be back for sure and also community days are coming.“
“As a New Yorker I get asked where I think the best pizza in the city is. I always unashamedly direct people to head here to front street pizza. It’s an amazing pizza in the DUMBO district, I very much love coming here. I live in the city so generally it can be a long commute but it is worth it and gives me an excuse to head to my home borough of Brooklyn, for pizza if anything. It can be pricey but the quality merits the price. I highly recommend this pizza joint for great slices and high quality ingredients. You won’t regret it. Already hungry, may head there today lol.“
“A garage in the middle of Williamsburg, butcher's knives and leaves for brewing beer, and top-notch meats: pulled pork, ribs, brisket, free-range chicken, spicy sausage... proudly accompanied by purées, salads potatoes, sauerkraut and coleslow. Very good choice of beers. Is it worth the trip? Not sure, but we appreciate the mastery of good products cooked simply, in an inimitable atmosphere and decor. We dreamed of it at the end of our garden... count on $40-50 pp.“
“amazing gluten free pizza, pretty much the best i’ve tried in 2023 - hands down. may be better than keste if im honest — only thing is that it’s made in same oven as regular, in case you’re hyper sensitive or celiac.ordered the poplette pizza: meatball, mozzarella, carmelized onions — insane! wish i had a good pic, the crust was a DREAM.added plus is great natural and organic wine list - great red options, and fairly priced. atmosphere is chill, cozy and friendly.Dietary restrictions: offer robust gluten free options + staff cares, confirms details and parameters“
“Very nice cafe located a few feet off the D train, the baristas are very nice and helpful. The food and drinks come out quickly despite there usually being only one person managing the drinks, food, and register. Everyone I recommended this place to have loved it. Despite the small space, there's always room to sit and relax while you enjoy your drink.Love coming here, and love that this is my local cafe. Definitely recommend to visit and try if you're looking for a new coffee spot!Dietary restrictions: Have multiple milk options if you're lactose intolerant.“
“Visited this bakery in 2022 so sorry for delay in the review. Incredibly good gluten free baked goods. Don't let the outside confuse you - my wife and I thought it was perhaps closed down at first! But have confidence and you will earn your baked reward - and what a reward! We chose the cinnamon buns which were perfection. I should note that this bakery is more of a "buy a loaf of bread or a tray of cakes and take them home" rather than a "grab a singular bun and eat it there and then" place (although the baker kindly prepared a couple of buns from our tray of buns for us to enjoy right away). Overall score: The bakery - 5/5; The baker - 6/5!“
“Received my order of pastachote, rainbow cookie cheesecake, and St. Joseph's sfinge/zeppole special. First of all, so very well packaged and wrapped! I was impressed with how the items in the boxes were secured. Well done! And the flavor of the items ... perfection. I felt like I was back in NY ❤I am so happy someone from Circo's Pastry Shop reached out to me to let me know the shipping charges were decreased which made ordering more reasonable. I will most definitely be ordering again. Thank you, Circo's!“
“This spot compared to the other healthy food places is def less salty (because it won’t be healthy food if there’s too much sodium ). The bowls are delish, I would have given it 5 stars ⭐️ if only the veggies were less salty, could use salt reduction to ensure the health factor of the meal. New York restaurants have a salt problem this is why we turn to healthy spots like this one!“
“I always come here for dor my dougnut fix. I get the gluten free almond donut. The gluten free orange donut is tasty, but if you are gluten free you don't necessarily crave an "orange donut" when you crave donuts. I wish they always had the moca gluten free donut they made once. Or a gluten free vanilla donut filled with raspberry jam. Jam is gluten free and could create a "real" feel?!“
“Loved it! I’ve been a lot over the years, and last night nailed it across-the-board.m! The ‘steak for four’ was as good as prime beef gets. Additionally, cocktails from the bar were surprisingly good, and all of our appetizers, salad course, and desserts exceeded our expectations. Steakhouse dining does not get better than this.“
