“Seeing my specially themed cake (Chocolate Chocolate Cake, consisting of Chocolate Cake, chocolate pudding, chocolate frosting), was a pleasant surprise. With my background in herbology, I think ByClio Bakery did a commendable job. They patiently listened to what vision was expected during the ordering process (I grow my own fruits and vegetables, including edible flowers), The cake's flowers (Dahlia / Marigold / Calendula /Snapdragon / Craspedia / Chrysanthemum just to identify a few) were edible and evoked a summer vibe, with flavors that matched its attractive appearance. Her honesty influenced my review; she explained the carefully wrapped sunflowers stems used as a finishing touch for the garden theme were not edible. The remaining ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The Mocha had a rich chocolate pudding layer and moist cake, the moose like outer layer was light and whipped, indulging in a second slice did not result in excessive sweetness.“

Heard about it from my favorite podcast, so when I finally made it to NYC, I made the journey to this little place in a quiet Brooklyn neighborhood and couldn't have been more impressed. Best sandwich I've eaten in years--halloumi w/ hummus, roasted squash, and pickled onion on their amazing foccacia. Wish I could go back today. I also ate one of the best pastries I've ever had, a chocolate croissant with a *pretzel* finish. Wow! Just wow. Please just go there.“

“Radio Bakery… is perfection. I completely understand the line.

I first ordered the heirloom tomato & feta sandwich, which was unbelievable. It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way.

The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it.

The chocolate cherry almond croissant… wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates.

“This place is cozy and makes for a nice place to go out with friends, dates or even alone! I went in by myself and tried their banh mi, which despite not being like what you would find in a typical Vietnamese spot, was super tasty and I highly recommend it. Use my photo as evidence of how good it is, I ate half of it before I finally took a photo, haha. The bread itself was soft, it tasted fresh, and the filling wasn't overly spicy or bland, it was just right. The baked goods looked tempting and I might have to try them next time.

Service wise, they're great. The staff will let you know how long you'll wait for items and they are good at what they do, both in the front facing customers and in the back prepping.“

The plain croissant is everything you hope for—beautifully flaky, deeply buttery, and so light that it practically shatters with every bite. It’s a masterclass in doing the classics perfectly.

The strawberry almond double-baked croissant somehow raises the bar even higher. Rich without being heavy, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced between the sweetness of the strawberries and the nuttiness of the almond filling. Every bite feels indulgent without becoming overwhelming.

“I have been waiting to try this bakery for 3 years after finding them on instagram and I am SO HAPPY I finally got the chance!! The space is so cute, the baked goods are immaculate aesthetically AND taste-wise. I wish I couldve tried everything but we got the cinnamon roll, ube mochi, chocolate chip cookie and citrus loaf. All insane and so worth it. The chorizo burrito was huge and flavorful. The cold brew was also very tasty and I’ve had my fair share of cold brews.
The workers were super sweet and welcoming, I love the family-run vibe and can’t wait to come back and continue supporting and tasting amazing food!!

“my favorite coffee shop. all the women are so friendly and make all the baked goods and drinks with love. i highly recommend the oat hochija latte and their home brewed iced teas. in the fall they have a delicious kabocha tea cake and regularly have a yuzu lemon cake and a lavender blueberry cake that are divine. i usually go during the weekdays in the early morning/afternoon and they have seating available, but it is a small space and can get busy on the weekends.“

“Tried their cinnamon roll, muffin, and three doughnuts flavors. The cinnamon roll was one of my favorite I've ever had. Moist, good balance of flavor and the dough had a nice chewy texture. All the dought flavors were great, the top choice was the strawberry. The blueberry and lemon muffin was a bit too sweet for me and my husband liking, but still excellently baked and tasty. Some of the best doughnuts we've had in the city, never mind the fact that everything is vegan. Service was excellent, they were friendly, helpful, and quick. Definitely will be back for a sweet treat!“

He was super friendly, approachable, and made it feel welcoming right away, especially since it was my first time coming here. “I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy.
