“Wow wow wow. Took the ride from Philly for these donuts for my birthday. Before I even got to eat the donuts, the owner who happens to be the sweetest person in the world, gave me pins for my bday! The donuts were mind boggling. The guava cheesecake donut is other worldly. The miso apple, raspberry currant, and salted caramel, were so amazing. Thank you so much!“
“I went to Caroline’s knowing about the great reviews and I am always looking to find great things to eat.I was greeted by a friendly employee and noticed very little selections were available because the shop just opened and was working on putting other flavors out so I was SO disappointed!... Anyway.. I really wanted to try the glaze and I came a long way for it to so asked how long will it be for the glazed and he said 10 minutes. In the meantime an obvious regular came in asking for her “usual” the glazed donut and was raving to the person on the phone that this was the best place for donuts… this made me even more excited!…Finally, the moment arrived, freshly made…the glazed donut. The space in Caroline’s is not a sit down and have your donut but you can stand by the window which is enough for two..three people tops. I chose to eat on the go and it was pure bliss!..Hell, I could have been mugged and asked, “Take everything but the donut”. It was delicious!…The reviews are dead on…this is by far the BEST donut I have had!. It was fresh, warm, soft and just melted in my mouth. I am watering at the mouth as relive the experience…..?I will return to try the creme brûlée, mango, doughcro and Boston’s creme!!!…Thank you Caroline’s….seriously!…“
“Well the most delicious donuts ever BUT ridiculous expensive. There was no price list so I bought 8 mini donuts,1 cinnamon roll,1 poundcake and I end up paying 70$ (18%tip included). On top of that prices weren’t shown at any point, till I have already payed which I find kind of unprofessional.“
“As an offshoot/sequel to the redoubtable Ample Hills, it should be no surprise that the ice cream is superb: thick, rich, inventive, creamy, and perhaps my favorite in New York’s five mighty boroughs. I always go ooey gooey butter cake or peppermint pattie (or both), but there are delights to suit every taste. (Note well: I was so excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a photo until after a few bites. A cone offers more than pictured here.)“
“Went about 10:30 am on Easter Sunday, and there was a line almost out the door... about 10 customers ahead of me. There is some stool seating in the store and a few benches outside. All the selection is vegan. The donuts are great, and unless someone told you they were vegan, one would be hard pressed to tell the difference. It's worth a revisit to try the other flavors.“
“My hotel was not far away, so I decided to stop by on my visit to NYC. I ordered the rose donut, rose chai (almond milk), and filter coffee (almond milk). The order tasted great, and the aesthetics were truly unique for a neighborhood shop.Absolutely loved the experience and will make this a regular on my visits to NYC!“
“I have to admit, even though I'm not a fan of donuts, I found Moe's to be absolutely delicious! The donuts are like cake but not as dense, which I really appreciate.I had the pleasure of trying the old fashioned, red velvet, dulce de leche, orange, and pistachio donuts. I enjoyed all of them, although I found the dulce de leche a bit too sweet for my taste - but then again, I understand it's supposed to be sweet. One more thing that really stood out to me was the fact that they accept credit cards. It makes the whole experience much more convenient.Next time, I will try to take some photos without devouring it first!“
“Came here late on a Sunday night after seeing it on Tik Tok and I understand the hype! Located in Bushwick, when you first walk in, it's an unassuming tiki-themed donut shop with a small seating area. Donuts are huge and looked absolutely delicious. We actually came for their speakeasy in the back. Walked through the photobooth and was transported into a completely different space. Great for date nights with a beautiful bar, and lots of green velvet couches and tables for seating. The star of the place is a rhino emerging from the wall that blows out smoke every now and again. When I walked in on a Sunday evening, the bar was packed but I was able to sit at a table with no problem and was served immediately. To drink, I had the Pacific Rim which was lightly sweet, fruit-forward with hints of passion fruit and pineapple, and just overall very refreshing. My date had the Flying High which we both did not love. The best part of the evening was that we were able to order a donut to our table. We had the Alscapone which we were both a little weary of ordering but it was fantastic. The pineapple marscapone filling was tasty and paired really well with the hot honey butterscotch sauce and prosciutto. It sounds like a weird combo but it was easily one of the best donuts I've ever had! They describe it as spicy and I wouldn't say it is but it definitely has a kick to it. This is what won me over for this place! I would 100% come back. Rating 4/5 stars!“
“Bruh, I stopped for a snack on my way to the Brooklyn Paramount and I'm so happy I stoped here!! The donuts!!???!!!! Omg cooked to PERFECTION!!! They did not taste like oil whatsoever. I'm so thankful Yanelis provided me with great recommendations and exceptional customer service. Shoutout to her! She knows her stuff!!! This place also has outlets in every seat which also persuaded me to stay.“
“The service is top notch the people who work there might be some of the nicest in the neighborhood and the gluten free breakfast taco with chorizo is made of dreams it's incredible. It's beautiful inside and the pastries are amazing and I like to show my kids different cultures and the Mexican pastries opportunities are beautiful unique and delicious.“
“I always come here for dor my dougnut fix. I get the gluten free almond donut. The gluten free orange donut is tasty, but if you are gluten free you don't necessarily crave an "orange donut" when you crave donuts. I wish they always had the moca gluten free donut they made once. Or a gluten free vanilla donut filled with raspberry jam. Jam is gluten free and could create a "real" feel?!“
“The pastries are amazing at this place. The only problem I had was that none of the donuts are labeled as to what they are. They did have labels for dairy and non dairy but you have no clue what type of donut you are getting. Spoiler, they are all great though. It's really tough to find parking in this area though. I skipped going a couple times because of this. However, if you live in the area, you are walking there so it doesn't matter“
“5 stars hands down just for service. Delicious cake was simply a Bonus. The lovely lady that helped me while the owner was out Monday went out of her way to find a replacement cake as they sold out of my first choice. To top it off she included a bonus bag I found at home with several free donuts. Very pleasant experience.“
“I'm an Uber eats delivery courier. This place was a nice change from how other places treat delivery couriers. The food cooking in the morning smelled amazing. The staff was awesome. Great location for breakfast or any meal, I would think.“
“Wonderful little diner with DONUTS. *GOOD* DONUTS. Literally what more could a human ask for?? They're also 24/7 I believe, making them a true diner, and true heroes ?Vegetarian options: Have nice amount of breakfasty veggie options! Maybe skip if you're a vegan.“
“staff can be a little slow and inconsistent but i think it’s just the vibe. the breakfast sandwich is really good and all the doughnuts are def worth trying. coffee is super strong and even though there seems to be some loitering there’s generally always space to “
“Very good doughnuts with interesting flavors. The dough itself is pretty different than the chain doughnuts like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme, found it to be very soft and lighter. The glaze we had was Blueberry Lemon with Oat Crumbles and it was delicious. It was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise very good combination of flavors.Vegan options are available for select flavorsDietary restrictions: Vegan options available“
“Every single donut I have tried has been delicious and fresh! I have been treating myself to a donut or two on a weekly basis. I have to say that even their homemade whip cream is not overly sweet. My favorite donut has been the apple tart & old fashioned. The light cake texture is perfect and makes you feel less guilty when eating a few :). The staff members are always welcoming. My only complaint is how expensive they are for the size . - half a dozen for $24.00. Come by and try a few. They are delightful. #BrandonsDonuts“
“Omg. I dont know why, but in November, I somehow, I decided cake donuts were going to be my end of 2023 cheat good items. I'm still eating then in February 2024. Nonetheless, they make top-notch donuts and crullers that I cannot resist. The coffee is consistently good as well. But they are the best donuts n bay ridge/bensonhurst.“
“20240220::i love these small local diners. i got the burger(ok, premade), and pankakes(i love pankakes as much as i love burgers). an order of pasta and alfredo, it wasn't bad(took a while cause they had to make the pasta midday. at least its fresh. need to try their omlettes and home “
“Truly this is one of my favorite spots in Sunset Park. I usually like to try something new each time I go to a restaurant, but I got the burrito with Birria and now this is my weekly splurge. Staff is always friendly, place is clean, leans into the millennial pink aesthetic with games for groups and a beach adjacent theme. But it’s all about the food and I’m sold. ?“
“This place is my go-to place for Bubble tea now. I recently discovered it since Gong Cha nearby closed down but Wanpo is way better. I usually order milk teas, classics such as oolong milk tea or just black tea unsweetened and without ice. I don't go for the boba but usually select grass jelly or pudding, something I have been into since a year or two. Let me tell you the pudding and the grass jelly of this place is the best I have tried so far, and I have been to the usual places in the city: Gong Cha, Coco and more recently Chun Yang Tea. Out of all the ones I named, Wanpo is just the best. The quality of their tea is great, their toppings is of quality (can't speak for boba, sorry about that but it isn't my first pick in terms of toppings) and I love that they also offer real tea options with Alishan oolong on the menu. Alishan oolong is a kind of tea I usually drink hot without adding any milk or sugar, but it is still great that they offer it, I have yet to try it. Definitely with they had more locations, this one is better than the one in Manhattan which is catering to students of NYU which in my view isn't necessarily great. The location near NYU had less choices from what I experienced and they seem to be sold out of topics and teas more often. Go to this one if you're nearby!“
“Short Review:This location is much more friendlier and efficient than the one closest to me on 72nd. I came in for a coffee and decided to try those stuffed mini bagels. I don't know if they are worth the cost, but at least I got to try it out.“
“Really amazing donut shop in Brooklyn! I can't even tell that the donuts are vegan. My favorite donuts were the PB and J and the Almondine donuts. I honestly think you can't go wrong. The worker who helped me pick the donuts was very sweet. The inside of the store is mainly a togo spot, but there is a small table on the outside where you can enjoy your donuts. Highly recommend this spot!“
“This is one of the oldest establishments on Avenue U . They have been there 50 years that I know of . Their donuts are okay . The coffee is probably the best coffee on Avenue u. Sometimes the staff can get a little grouchy but they're basically hard-working decent people . Every so often some crazy person comes in and it can be quite entertaining . The Establishment itself is a little rundown but it's okay . There is no place cheaper than this on Avenue U and the food is reasonable and good .“
“You see so many good cafes it's hard to see how anyone can really stick out, but this place makes some of the best coffees I've enjoyed. They have such a rich clean flavor and a nice kick of caffeine. The pastries are simple and good too. Best of all you can grab your coffee and walk right across the street to Fort Green Park“
“my fiance and I were so curious for starscafe! always busy with work, never time to stop, but 1 lucky day for us we finally went in for a couple of coffees and we didn't just get excellent desserts and coffee but also met the most beautiful souls that own this charming Cafe! please visit they will not let you down.“
“Wow amazing service can’t thanks Chelsea enough her service and attention to detail was super first time walking into matto the experience was delightful and so was the drink she reccomeded I am definitely going back soon for another cup of coffee and to try a pastry also which I didn’t get this time around ?“
“Came across this place few weeks ago and had to give it a try. Honestly, the food is tasty no doubt. I tried the Potato and cheese Pierogies, chicken noodles soup and finished it off with their yummy cream puff.Other note: kudos to the staff very polite! ?“
“I love this dunkin the cashier is so sweet she always makes my refresher perfect to my liking sweet and when I ask for food she makes it as I please, well done.. this is one of my top 5 shops and it's around my neighborhood so I am always excited to come here you could sit as well n enjoy your food then do some shopping thank you DUNKIN !!“
“Small place but affordable, 🩠donuts and coffee. Should be more stores like "Donut Connection". I believe Donken Donuts are trying to corner the donut market. No diners or restaurants will sell donuts. Not good business !!!!“
“An "old school lunchenette" type eatery everything made to order plus how cam i forget about the old fashion style donuts ! ? please get yourself a donut and a few to take with you before they sell out. You can't find donuts like this anymore not for the price you'll pay for them here. Enjoy .. ?“
“It must be a burden of seismic magnitude to hold the empty weight of everyone’s opinions about each business, monument, roadside attraction and park on this planet. Google I have sympathy for you but not empathy. I cannot relate to a machine. I am as irrational as they come. although my behavior can be studied, spat out Into the ether of cyberspace and spotted like celestial detritus seen sputtering across the stratosphere through the telescope lense of bored nerdy child only to be analyzed briefly then forgotten about just as quickly, when it comes down to it- past performance does not predict future events. I call this one Drops of Jupiter by Train“
“Probably the best and my favorite Dunkin I’ve ever been to. The morning staff are so friendly and actually do your drink the way you ask them to. The service is what makes this Dunkin great. They also have almost everything to buy throughout the day which makes the variety of choices great.“
“I am a regular Dunkin' Donuts customer, and recently, I had the pleasure of trying a different Dunkin' location for the first time. The service provided by Mr. Syed and Mr. Khazim was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure a positive experience during my visit. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor stood out, making my first-time experience at this Dunkin' truly enjoyable. The service was prompt, and they were attentive to my needs, enhancing the overall quality of my visit. I appreciate the excellent service provided by Mr. Syed and Mr. Khazim, making this Dunkin' Donuts a great choice for anyone seeking not only delicious treats but also top-notch customer service.“
“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
