“As most places in NYC, we stumbled upon this bakery. Once your eyes see it, I challenge you to not go into it. It’s a very colorful place and the person who served us was incredibly patient and friendly (I kept coming back to add to my order). The coffee was very, very good, my cortado was perfect.
We got a couple of pastries for the following day and the croissant (I’m French) was very good even after a day. It was filled with pistachio cream and the size was just right, the cream very nutty and not overly sweet and sickly. Shame we live so far away because I’d make it a regular.“

Had wonderful and friendly service about the options and staff favorites. Went with the pistachio glazed yeast donut that was exactly the right choice. Delicious, light, and just enough sweet to round it out.

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. I expect a certain consistency to the original glazed donut, and this was certainly met, but the service I received went above and beyond. There was only one employee visible behind the counter but he greeted me enthusiastically and earnestly wished me a good day at the end of our transaction. All this alongside an efficient yet careful pace of service. I would never expect a particularly deep level of care from fast food service of any kind and I would never complain if I received curt service in a place like Krispy Kreme, especially not in the morning on the weekend with only one employee manning the counter; this particular employee however deserves commendation for his friendly and personable service. His service was a high point in my lethargic journey to my own job.
