“The one and only best cheesecake shop in the world, IMHO.
A timeless classic. I first tasted it some 20 years ago and it has been consistently excellent throughout the years. Never once let me down.
The original remains my firm favourite.“

“Customer keeps coming, despite that it is fast moving queue. Generous amount, egg is so fluffy and nice like pudding! I appreciate it. Bagel is fresh and nice too! They only accept cash so do note that. Thankful the cashier is patient with me ordering for the first time as well. Good experience! No dine in.“

“Got the pumpkin bun $1.75 and the da bao $2.25. pumpkin bun was light, fluffy, sweet with a soft filling inside. Da bao was also fluffy with a meat center of ground chicken, a quail egg, and a piece of sausage. The bun though is kinda thick. Pumpkin bun 7.5/10. Da bao 7.7/10.“

“I came for lunch alone and got a spot at the bar, which was exactly what I wanted. The place was busy in a good way, filled with great vibes. I ordered a Salad Niçoise, and the dish was both beautiful and delicious. It’s a lovely restaurant in NoHo.“

“I love Daily Provisions and order delivery from this location so often it's actually a little weird. Food is always good! I can't place an order from here without getting a cold brew and a blueberry muffin, the patty melt and tuna melt are so good, the chefy salad is perfect, and the breakfast sandwiches are great.
The only thing is that about 9/10 times I order, they do not include a straw for my iced coffee or a hot sauce for my breakfast sandwich. Tbh, they probably only send the hot sauce once out of every 20 orders (I really order from here a disturbing amount).
Whatever, the heart wants what the heart wants. But PLEASE start sending straws!! And maybe let me order a cruller online? :)“

“Good bakery serving Nordic bread and pastries. They also have their own coffee roasters. Some seats indoor and outdoor.
(The air inside was really stinky and strong which I won’t recommend to stay inside. Myself, clothes, and stuff became smelly after staying.)
Pastries: ✨??Tebirkes is a MUST! (The staff even recommended it than their cardamom buns!) Really really rich “transformed” almond croissant. The combination of almond paste inside and the sesame topping outside was amazing. It deepened the taste so much.
✨Cinnamon bun was delicious too, better than average. Slightly sticky and doughy.
???Danish rye bread was my VIP. Moist and soft with a solid, crunchy edge. It is not easy to find this kind of European bread in the city.
For coffee, I do recommend! ☕️?Cappuccino was creamy and tasted well balanced.
Would like to try the signature cardamom bun and cookies next time.“

“Everyone hates the big company and pushes for the underdog and that's cool but when it comes to groceries and you have dietary restrictions I feel Whole Foods is a real good option. The aura with the expensive soap ? section always uplifts my mood and attitude. The Good Soaps and their brand of soap is like 3 to 4 dollars a bar which I think is fair. Fair prices in my opinion for what you get. They get the majority of my grocery money ?. Bathrooms are not hidden in a sketchy storage area either.“

“So delicious! All the staff is very friendly and helpful with answering any questions. The almond croissants are a must try besides the chocolate babka. The lattes are also the best around the area even though it’s pricy. Everything in here is pricy but the quality is there. In a good location as well to stop by for dessert, to get your bread for the week or to have a full meal to treat yourself. Definitely will go back but not too often other wise I’ll go broke! Definitely recommend to try this place, I only have 4 stars because of pricing but I understand for a lot of business to survive at this time, the pricing is what it is. Especially if you want high quality.“

“That's what I call an insider tip. Inconspicuous from the outside, inside in the passageway on the left and right there are seats and tables. I had a pizza where I believe the dough and toppings were homemade! Baked goods looked great. And, quiet in there. Recommended.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“As soon as we arrived in New York from Australia we were greeted by another Aussie who spotted us in the hotel lobby who quickly wanted to share where we could actually get good coffee..... this is a MUST for us Australians. Bourke Street Bakery .... you did not disappoint !!! From the very friendly staff to my new favourite coffee, the cortada, to the taste bud blowing pastries and muffins, this place is a must to start your day with. BTW did I mention the coffee. 10/10“

“Recently stopped by here to try their donuts and black and white cookies. They were good but not great. It was really cool visiting a bakery that's well established in New York City... However, The vibes were kind of off. Maybe it was because I visited later in the day but it didn't seem like a typical New York bakery as the staff wasn't too welcoming and weren't willing to answer any questions.“

“This bakery is hands down one of the best I've ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming vibe, and the service from Santiago, Natalia, and Herwin was exceptional. The food is outstanding—each item is fresh, flavorful, and expertly made. With such a wide variety of baked goods, I can't wait to try them all. Highly recommend!“

“Frenchette Bakery is both a bakery and cafe by chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson located at the Whitney Museum. At the bakery, one can pick up viennoiserie, individual pastries, baguettes, sandwiches and coffee. Or one can sit at the cafe to a meal with a fine menu that includes duck confit and rotisserie chicken. This is the second location of this fine bakery from these two chefs. I had a single shot Cortado, a croissant au Jambon with Gruyère. a croustillant with hibiscus and and a packet of Bouchons. Small high tables with stools are located outside to eat and leave. Lingering is not encouraged. The food was tasty but a touch expensive.“

“Little stand located on the corner of Mulberry Street and Canal Street, is home to the most affordable and yummiest mini sweet cakes. Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the mood for a light snack and if you have $2 on you (15 of these mini vanilla cakes are only $1.50)I got the plain mini vanilla cakes because I was not in the mood to make a mess, but they do offer various toppings: condensed milk, honey coconut, peanut butter, chocolate syrup and nutella for an additional dollar.“

“Delicious pastries and coffee. This is such a lovely bakery, and the owners are so kind. Will definitely keep coming back.
Edited 08.26: I ordered a cake from here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was really good. I ordered several days ahead, and it had vanilla batter with chocolate butter cream frosting. It was perfect for the occasion and a big hit.“

“First, I saw this shop online and was taken aback by the prices and the lines, but it was 100% worth the hype. The cookies are crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, full of deep rich chocolate, and as big as a person's hand. I recommend the two chip cookies and the peanut butter dark chocolate cookie. Their lemon bread and chocolate brioche are sold out frequently, so if you have a chance, absolutely purchase them.
Dietary restrictions: Would ask about allergies to nuts and certain ingredients such as flour.“

“Excellent coffee. I had the batch brew, which was roasted by Regalia.
I think this is the best coffee in midtown - best batch brew at least. Black fox alwaus goes for such high extractions the coffee tastes a little “thin”. This tasted like something in the 1:16-17 range, and had a lovely body & sweetness, in addition to bright clarity.
They have several roasters on retail: Onyx Coffee, Sey, and another I didn’t recognize.
Oh, and the passion fruit curd brioche was excellent as well.“

“Best bread of my stupid life. I refuse to believe anything they sell is as good as this here heavenly most holy walnut loaf. For 12 dollars, this bread lasted me a week, in that time it brought so much joy, did my homework, cleaned my house, lifted my depression, I ate it all and I miss it so much that this is painful to write. The toast this made. The SANDWICHES. That this bread gave me. Go here and get this, tell then I sent you maybe they'll give me a deal or start sending me loaves or teach me their magical ways. I think I'm gonna have to do a real 180 and start anew as a bread maker because what better thing could I bring to the world but this bread? What could anyone?“

“MLW is a classic spot, especially if you're into those famous pork buns (char siu bao) that everyone talks about. The buns are soft, sweet, and packed with flavorful roast pork – definitely a must-try. Besides the buns, they’ve got other dim sum items and pastries like dumplings and egg tarts, and they’re all pretty tasty. It's affordable too, which is why so many locals love it. As for the vibe, it's super casual – don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a bit old-school, with limited seating, so it's perfect if you're just looking for a quick, no-fuss bite.
Overall, if you’re in Chinatown and want something cheap and delicious, Mei Lai Wah is definitely worth checking out. Just go for the pork buns!“

“This place is so fun! I came here and it's so cheap to get a ton of baked goods.
Good:
- Super fast service - got in and out incredibly fast
- Cheap - $1/sponge cake, the original is honestly so good and isn't too sweet but satisfies the sweet tooth in me
- Quirky interior design
Bad:
- Cash only! Make sure you've got cash since the line moves quickly
Overall this place was such a great find and hole in the wall!“

“Very good bakery. Croissant was right on with texture and flavor for American. Have not try the real French style, so I can’t tell. Baguettes is nicely baked and texture is just right, not to dense or chewy. Wished it could warmed up for eating on the spot.“

“Fantastic food, bit overpriced. But new stars in the neighbourhood. The Lady boss known as Fel Cassieli is actualy ex-pornstar and nude model Lenka Janistinova, a true beauty (playboy/Penthouse). And her friend is Michael Munzing, producer of SNAP ‘i’ve got the power’!!! So 3 times 5 stars from me ??“

“A lovely bakery with delicious baked goods and a nice seating area. They have space inside and a few tables outside. Bomboloni was super tasty, got the chocolate one, and it had a perfect amount of filling and wasn't overly sweet. Seasonal pastry was even better, made with almond flour tasted slightly like marzipan and had figes, so yum! Coffee is good as well. And their foccacias look amazing, too.“

“I recently went on a tour of bakeries in New York and heard that they were delicious, so I decided to visit. The inside of the store is bright and clean, giving you a good impression! I bought a baguette and a raisin roll and both were very tasty, especially the baguette, which was the best tasting thing I've ever bought in New York! Although it is located in a location that is a little difficult to access, I would definitely like to visit again!“

“Wow! I discovered this bakery by accident this morning, and was blessed by getting the first taro bun of the day!
It was still steaming hot and absolutely, magnificently delicious. Chewy, tender crust, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Everyone working here was also extremely helpful and friendly! My original choice, an egg custard bun, wasn’t ready yet, but the woman working offered several suggestions and was genuinely excited to be able to hand me the day’s first warm taro bun.
I’m so glad I walked in and tried something new! I will definitely be back :)“

“It’s a nice spot that lasts in Chinatown.
Many traditional food and or desserts.
The only downside is, some items are not kept fresh. I would recommend you to avoid buying fresh item left on counters in room temperature, since there are not additives/preservatives, they go bad quickly esp if they were not 100% cool down prior to putting them in the clear plastic boxes that kept the warm moisture, experience twice already where I had to throw them away by the time I get home and they were a bit sour.
Other than that, soy milk drinks and other items either kept in the fridge or in the hot pots are good.“
