OMG...this IS the best sponge cake you'll have in NYC. I've had my fair share looking for one that compares to the original Kam Hing. The owner apprenticed with the original Kam Hing owner and finally opened his own cafe! Can't go wrong with the original flavor but the pandan coconut is sooooo goood! it's my new fav! This is my new go to place for sponge cakes!
i had the original sponge cake and it was pretty good! at just a dollar you can't go wrong. it does taste like a sponge cake and its nice and delicate but not too sweet. if i'm the area i would get it again.
I usually come here for their dozens , once in awhile gotta try them all you know .
