The pastries were high-quality and well-made, though slightly too sweet, and the creams were a bit heavy.
Super cute space I had found online! The laminated croissant breakfast sandwich was amazing! We definitely want to go back again to try more of their sweets they looked so good! Service was fast and they had a great playlist on when we were there! There is limited counter space but still had a few spots to enjoy your food right there!
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to a relatively quiet shop. Super friendly staff and accommodating both to us and to all customers who came in during our visit. Easily our favorite chocolate chip cookie in the city so far and we've tried so many before coming here. Can't recommend any higher!

Petit Chou is a charming East Village bakery known for its seriously good desserts. The chocolate chip cookie is perfectly crisp on the edges and gooey in the center, while the popular cinnamon rolls and impressive eclairs, including amazing chocolate and salted caramel varieties, offer fancy treats at a good price. The pastries are miniature works of art, from the guava cheesecake danish to the tiramisu tres leches and blueberry cheesecake. The bakery is highly recommended for its delicious and beautifully presented offerings, as well as its welcoming, kid-friendly atmosphere.
