Very convenient for a budget lunch, look at the last page of the menu, I had the almond chicken with rice and hot sour soup, they bring you tea to drink for a total of $11 to sit in the heat with good service, with the bill the classic fortune cookie!
Sometimes you just want hassle free, NYC style, inexpensive Chinese food in a no no no frills setting. Mee is that kind of spot. It moved out of my neighborhood when Covid shut it down, and I missed the roast soy chicken noodle soup that got me through the winter. I am happy as a clam that I can make a quick trek down to the East Village for a hot steamy bowl. The waiter is the best, he remembered me and what I liked. I have never physically visited this store but I order delivery from them 4-5x a month. Always delicious, fresh tasting food. Dumpling soups are some of the best I’ve had and the lunch specials are a great value.
