Quick, delicious, fresh food.Delightful staff in a great area, got a shawarma and it stuffed me. $8. Brother got the the chicken sandwich filled with salad $8. Wife got the chicken plate with 1/4 chicken. rice, beans and salad.Washed it down with fresh and delicious baklava. Will keep an eye out next time we are nearby!
It's been a few years but I used to live nearby and would get falafel sandwiches and platters here all the time. I'm glad to see this restaurant is still open.Other reviewers are right about the service but, as the saying goes, it is what it is. The atmosphere is great, however. You feel like you've stepped away from the East Village by crossing the threshold.
