“I have visited the Allentown location several times. The food is always great, but what’s even better is the feeling of warmth the staff and owners emit. Everyone has always been so incredibly kind and attentive. Excellent food and service!“

“The beautiful, intimate atmosphere and absolutely top notch comfort food would be worth it alone - BUT the service was also awesome. After we were graciously seated without a reservation (try to book ahead because you really won't want to miss this place), the staff was so kind, friendly, and attentive. Absolutely everything we had was wonderful but the knafeh actually brought a tear to my eye. ❤️ Absolutely would recommend 5 out of 5 stars.“

“Came here for brunch and was quite happy with the overall experience. Anything that is close to a kebab was delicious, and the kubeh itself was an interesting complement to the meal. Didn’t really think there was a stand out dish that would make me come back though.“

“We had the pleasure of dining in your restaurant last week, We instantly loved the mediterranean style atmosphere of your place. We had the best server we could have asked for named, Martina, she was friendly and had a great sense of humor, Her menu knowledge was excellent, She recommended the Duck and Short Ribs, which were excellent. Full of flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience with great food and nice, friendly staff. Lloyd Hartford“

“I just found this gem in Harlem and let me say I am thoroughly impressed. First, the Yemeni tea is extremely good. No need to add anything. Secondly, the amount of food that you get for money is a great deal. I had #21 Aqdat Dajaj (Curry Chicken) w/Basmati Rice and a side of Naan bread (it was huge). You also receive soup and a mini salad before the actual entree. I left there stuffed and satisfied. The space is very quaint and somewhat intimate. It’s a must try!! And it’s Halal!!!
Vegetarian options: There are about 13 vegetarian dishes to choose from.“

“Mamoun's Falafel is a classic, old-school establishment that consistently draws a crowd—and for good reason. The food is always fresh and delicious, making it a favorite spot for many. There’s never any issue with the quality or taste of the food; it’s simply excellent.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, they only accept cash, so be prepared. If you’re short on cash, you'll need to use the ATM right outside the store, which charges a $3 fee. The staff, while efficient, can sometimes come across as brusque, especially when you request extras like sauce on the side or if you’re a dollar short. Also, seating is very limited, so it's best to plan on taking your food to go. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but given the quality of the food, it's worth it.“

“The food was so delicious and the ingredients tasted super fresh and of high quality. The staff was very nice and helped us choose - since we wanted everything on the menu. The place has a beautiful warm cozy but clean design, and we could feel the nice warmth of the big tabun oven from our table.
I would recommend and come back! The frena bread and hummus are obviously a must!“

“Happily surprised with how delicious this food was!!! I’m still dreaming of the baby lamb sandwich. The pita bread was soft, fresh and not too thick. First time trying a sea food pizza and it was heavenly and flavorful.
100% recommend. Very friendly service. The mint tea and baklawa were the perfect treat and amuse-Bouche to the meal.
Reasonable prices for quality. Variety of traditional middle eastern appetizers and comfort dishes.
Vegetarian options: Most of the appetizer vegetarian with main dishes that include falafel and eggplant.“

“Do not refer to the five stars. They do not reflect my opinion. I just wanted to say that perhaps a short explanation should be added somewhere that the hummus is intended for the palate of Columbia University students so that Israeli clients do not develop expectations.“

“Entering this restaurant takes a leap of faith, or at least courage. It is at the bottom of a narrow external metal staircase to the basement of a lowrise apartment building on a quiet side street. Then walk past the puddles about 20 feet to get to the front door. Once inside, the place is, uh, funky -- a series of small rooms, universally dark, with small tables and benches with cushions. Oriental carpets covered the floor in the small chamber we were in. Seating the sofa-like benches was a bit low for us. The table itself was perhaps 18" deep. Thankfully, the food is excellent. It made the entry adventure worth it, for sure. We shared an appetizer -- SPANAKOPITES ($18), more than enough for two-- "feta, mozzarella, myzithra, spinach, onions, wrapped in phyllo dough." We ordered two chicken entrees -- CHICKEN BASTEEYA ($35) "saffron, ginger, and cinnamon braised chicken, toasted almonds perfumed with orange blossom water, flaky pastry, topped with cinnamon sugar" and the RAS-EL-HANOUT CHICKEN KEBAB ($35)--"roasted vegetables, basmati pilaf, tzatziki, warm pita. The mix of spices of every dish was perfect--delicate, flavorful, surprising -- but not "hot". We'll probably come back here for the food.“

“I visited New York for 6 days from the state of Texas and ended up having two meals at this location because the food was just that good. In a city where you have to be the best to survive, we chose to eat here for two meals! The flavors and consistency of quality and service were great. Can't say enough good things about this place! Keep up the good work gentlemen!“

“My husband gets their food all the time for lunch and yesterday I met up with him while he was on break. I got the falafel plate and my god! The falafels were so fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the veggies were fresh and really brought life to the dish. The owner and his son were so nice. I cannot recommend enough!“

“Each time I eat here I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try: My office is nearby and my coworkers and I have a tier list for 35+ local restaurants of all varieties. This one is at spot number 1. Their falafel is peerless, impeccable and downright divine. The chicken shawarma bursts with flavor within you and has a beautiful contrasting crust. The fries are gorgeous and extremely flavorful. The hummus is perfect.“
