Amazing hidden gem. Delicious food!!
Came for dinner after Parsons graduation. Absolutely delicious every bite.
We sat in the front room with pillows and soft lighting.
The lamb meat pies and babaganoush were my favorites.
A home away from home. Thank you for everything Joan and Bassam

Salam is a delightful restaurant that offers a delectable dining experience with great Syrian food and a cozy Ottoman-style interior. The food is incredible, featuring generous portions and mouthwatering options like the falafel coated in sesame seeds and the Makloubeh with tender lamb. The pita is super fresh, and many guests enjoy it on its own, while the vegetable curry has a unique taste with a nice ginger kick and plenty of veggies. The eggplant has a wonderful smoky flavor, and the tomato sauce in the rice bursts with flavor. The lamb couscous is also a standout dish, and the hummus is killer, with the babaganoush being smoky and creamy to perfection. The restaurant has a tasteful decor, providing an elegantly laid-back atmosphere, though the seating comfort may be questionable. Salam is a great spot for a date or a small group gathering, and it is also kid-friendly. They cater to vegetarians with falafel, eggplant, and other veggie-friendly dishes. The staff has extensive experience, with some members working there for 28 years, contributing to the soulful food and atmosphere that the restaurant is known for.
