This place blew my expectations out of the water. The portions. The flavor. The best mediterranean food I’ve had. If you’re reading this, and trying to decide where to eat, stop looking and go to Lava.
We’ve had Middle Eastern/Lebanese food in Paris, San Francisco, Montreal, Miami, London and other cities and this place probably takes 1st place out of all of them. Delicious food most importantly but also great service and ambience. Falafels are top notch, so is the hummus.
