“$4.25 for a small container of thick, chewy rice noodle rolls with fresh, perfectly cooked, shrimp and an egg! Breakfast of Champions! No line when I went around 9am and service was fast and efficient. No chitchat but I wasn't there for small talk ? After I recieved my order, I took a few steps back and just dug in! Yum! Great cheap eats in NYC! ?“

“The food is nothing short of amazing – packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food you get. If you're looking for authentic halal food with great service, this food truck is a must-try!“

“Had it at City point Dekalb Market
The chicken was so good, tender and tasty with nice rice. Vegetables were fresh too and the hot soup!! It reminds me the one I had in local place.
People there are very nice too!! Will come back again ~“

“My partner has been talking about the Dosa man in NYC for a longggg time! We finally made a trip to NY and NY Dosas was our first stop. Waited in line for an hour and honestly it was so worth it. It was a beautiful sunny day in Washington square park when we went so it made waiting more enjoyable. Plenty of places to sit on the benches of the park. Make sure to ask for extra napkins because it can get a little messy. Sambar and coconut chutney are great! Any time I come back to NYC I'll be visiting the Dosa Man! ❤️🪷 Updated from previous review on 2025-04-22“
“Great ambiance . Everyone should have a good time.“
“Highly recommend Yolanda’s tamales 🫔 They’re huge & delicious! This is my second year ordering in a large batch for Christmas. This year, I ordered the ones made from mole de puerco and pollo con salsa verde. Traveled over an hour from Brooklyn for these — will be ordering again soon!“

“Excellent Singaporean restaurant inside Urban Hawker. I got the chicken cutlet curry rice and it was fantastic; highly recommend. I also tried the lychee drink, and while it was good, it was not carbonated and I really feel it would benefit from being so.“

“These guys are the best halal cart I’ve had in the city. You know it’s good when there are a few carts within blocks, but these guys get lines in front of theirs daily. The locals know it’s worth the short wait. They are very pleasant happy people as well!“

“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“
