“I was absolutely starving and this place saved me! The prices are very affordable and the portions match those prices. I got a medium fish ball rice roll bowl (oyster sauce flavor). I got all the sauces on it, per recommendation of the cashier.
Spicy, sweet, and savory all at once. I’m usually not a fan of fish balls but these swayed me.

As a native New Yorker I am weary of viral restaurants but this one is WORTH THE HYPE. I forgot to take a before picture but I definitely have the after! Delicious.“

“If you get tired of the standard cart fare of hot dogs and halal the Cheong Fun Cart is a nice option. I got a big rice roll filled with beef and scallions for $3.50. It's best eaten immediately to preserve the bouncy texture. You can head to Elizabeth Street Garden which is apparently never going to become affordable senior housing but nonetheless is a nice place to perch with some rice rolls.“

“Awesome place but biggest flaw is that they’re not actually open everyday, even if the weather is good. I passed by today at 8pm, weather was perfect and they weren’t there. I wish they had some way of letting people know if they’re not open for whatever reason, even if its just an instagram page of something“

“My girlfriend and I went here on Saturday it was a great experience and we both had a lot of fun. We arrived a little early before our scheduled start. The atmosphere was awesome! We sat at the bar for about a half hour and we each got a drink while we waited for our game to start. My girlfriend had Lime in the Coconut Collins and I had Paradise Love. Both drinks were good. They have a very easy to use coat check too. There are a total of 9 courses and each one is unique making for an exciting game of indoor mini golf! There are also servers who walk around and take your drink order and plentiful of convenient stations to set your drinks on while you play and wait for the party ahead of you.“

“My sister and I have been to this place for many years when we go to Chinatown and get these sweet mini cakes (basically 15 delicious balls of dough and sugar in a tray). The shop is a vendor and that every time that both of us went there, there is sometimes a line and that they were busy making the cakes when we got there.“

“Been eating Mo's burgers since age 12 and I'm 51 today. He makes the best burgers ever. Unfortunately after 40yrs of service he will be retiring on Oct 2026. Truly a humble down to earth sweet heart of a man and us Harlem Nites love and appreciate him, thank you for your service Mo.“

“I sadly didn't get to eat here. I was lost without my phone and a person who worked there helped me, like we were best friends. He handed me his phone so I could write down directions, without worry, and was incredibly kind to me. If the food is half as good as the people who work there, you should check this place out! :) thank you for helping me and being a good person. “The best pozole, tacos, tamales, rice pudding, tacos, quesadillas, Jamaica water and the best horchata in all of New York. We are Puerto Ricans who love Mexican food and this couple gives the best of Mexico in each dish. I highly recommend them if you are in the Dyckman area Wednesday through Sunday.“

“Right outside where I’m staying so it’s really convenient. I have eaten here three times in the last two days and I don’t have any complaints. I’m not kidding. the cart, Halal Harlem, was established in 2002. the guy working it was a little slow but that’s bc his experienced hands will make your lamb gyro on pita with so much care. be patient and you’ll get the best halal you ever tasted. he didn’t skimp on the meat or veggies. there was onions, tomatoes, and lettuce!! some places give you lettuce and call it a day. He charges fair prices! I love Harlem Halal like I love the M116. with gratitude in my heart and wallet.“

“One of the best halal food spots I’ve tried in NYC! The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was really delicious. The prices are unbeatable. My personal favorite was the teriyaki chicken over rice for only $7, and the portion size was great.

“Long queues but only because the food’s so good. Simple menu offering chicken gyros, beef gyros or combo gyros, and the same options for a platter. Super yummy and they give you extra garlic sauce and spicy sauce in sachets with cutlery when you take it away. Speedy service and big portions too. Definitely recommend a visit especially if you’re staying at the New York Hilton Midtown (as it’s right outside!)“
