I went to the Hopewell Junction location. I paid $30 for a cup of soup with barely any lobster & a lobster grilled cheese that also was skimp on the lobster and the sandwich was “warm”. Not worth the price and the taste was average. I was expecting a better experience.

Cousins Maine Lobster is a popular food truck known for its fresh and delicious lobster dishes. The truck can be found in various locations, including Miami, New York, and Long Island. Some of the recommended meals are the Maine Lobster Roll, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Bisque, and New England Clam Chowder. Customers often enjoy the lobster quesadilla, finding it very good and worth the price. The lobster meat can be prepared in different ways, such as warm and meaty or chopped into small pieces, providing variety for diners.
The quality of the food is generally good, with some reviews mentioning the Lobster Bisque tasting flavorful and like real lobster. However, others feel that portions can be small and prices high, with meals costing around $40-$50 or more. The Maine Lobster Roll, at $24, is considered small and sometimes lacks salt and flavor, with bread being the best part. Soggy rolls and disappointing flavor have been noted by some customers. Seating near the truck is limited, so customers often take their food home or eat in their cars.
The truck has a clear screen menu with pricing and add-on deals. The staff is friendly and pleasant, providing a good overall experience despite the high prices. Many customers still choose to visit again for the delicious lobster dishes, although some find the portion sizes and quality not meeting expectations for the cost.
