Farook Halal Food Reviews
When I think NYC Halaal, I think of the guys over at Farook. Some of the best tasting food the city has to offer.
The food is delicious but they add a $1 surcharge on each item if you pay via credit card without telling you. Their sign says there is only a $1 surcharge for Venmo.
This place is an absolute gem. You will not find a better price for a meal in the city, and the amount of food you get is incredible. On top of that, it's the best tasting food from one of these carts I have had in the city. 11/10.

Farook Halal Food is a highly-recommended halal cart in the city, known for its excellent food and even better service, offering a true NYC experience. Reviewers consistently praise the cart's generous portions, especially the combo over rice with white sauce, featuring chicken and lamb, which costs just $8. Customers highlight that the food is always delicious, whether choosing chicken or lamb over rice, and mention that the red sauce is the best they've had. The prices are affordable, and Farook provides a loyalty card that rewards customers with a free meal after 10 purchases. The cart is wheelchair accessible and has no lines, making it a great alternative to more popular halal carts. Ibrahim is noted for being extremely friendly and ensures customers are pleased with their meals. Farook Halal Food has been a staple in the area, maintaining its quality while contributing to the halal cart renaissance in NYC.
