Ichibantei Reviews
Amazing stumble upon date night. Open until 3 am. The food was AMAZING. Apparently all the staff in the kitchen is from Japan and it shows. Top recs: geso calamari, pork katsu curry, oyakudon. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Late night go to spot. They even have authentic lemon sours! Music is dope and good vibes abound.
We’re tourists from Canada. We happened to choose this new restaurant because we were caught in a heavy rain.Unexpectedly, the food here was very authentic, and we found out that the chef is from Japan. The service was also attentive, especially from a waiter named Ryan. He even gave us two umbrellas as gifts finally when we left, which was really touching.

Ichibantei is the experience of wonderfully savory fried chicken/pork that's not too greasy. Surprisingly generously portioned, I struggled to finish a delicious meal, that's how big they were. Given the food quality, the food was worth the money, excited to come back and try something new. I had the oyakodon which had excellent dashi and paired with just a little rice. All the other katsus and kara ages were just as yummy and we all left happier than when we came
