This place is hands down awesome. If you don't get it, you just don't. Some of the best Japanese soul food I've ever had. Long live the Captain!

Ichibantei is a hidden gem with good evening date vibes. The restaurant offers ramen, curry rice, cocktails, and mocktails. The Deluxe Udon and Kitsunedon are highly recommended dishes. The decor is stylish with 80s and 90s music playing, creating a cool atmosphere. The food is excellent and flavorful, with highlights such as takoyaki and curry. The fish in Tuna Zuke Don has a soft texture, and mixing the yolk from the ondama egg with tuna and rice makes a great bite. The pork katsu is crispy, and the curry is on the sweeter and chunkier side. Service is quick, and staff are friendly. However, the music can be very loud, making conversation difficult at times. While the food is delicious, there was an issue with a miscommunication about a meal, and the restaurant needs to improve on customer service recovery. Overall, Ichibantei is a must-visit for good food and a fun, relaxed vibe with cute cocktails.
