I used to come here everyday after class and the chicken over rice with falafels was to die for! It was always so well seasoned and just delicious.I’m writing this review because I miss it so much during these pandemic times! lol
Its 11:55, and he is peckish. The lunch in the office is a cold jaw-breaker sandwich and some green leaves. Blech. Its Tuesday. Its raining. "FML", he thinks. He grabs his umbrella and goes downstairs, exits the building, turns right. And smiles. Rafiqi's is a small Halal food truck chain in NYC. this cart is part in front of Barnes & Noble. this is a small cart. it looks pretty clean. you can see your food being cooked as there are transparent panels in front of the grill. it's a small menu of meat + rice platters as well as a few pita sandwich options. recently got the chicken over rice which was pretty satisfying and filling. the chicken is seasoned well and watched as it got chopped and up and cooked on the grill....read full review
